  1. now that this tour is in full swing id like to revisit my prediction. Showbiz- was actually far off. sunburn or falling down has been played at almost every gig Origin- pretty dead on, bliss played more than i thought and newborn rotated Absolution- close, but SS is permanent while hysteria is rotated BHAR- spot on Resistance- correct, except less USOE than i thought in all, been a good tour so far. lets see how the US leg establishes itself especially with three LA gigs coming up now
  2. Here is a guitar my friend created for me. Mattocaster shape, with a dark blue sparkle finish. double humbucker pickups with a sustainer 401 FSK system installed with a Floyd Rose Whammy installed on the bridge and a killswitch mounted behind it
  3. ya he starts at the initial tone and then moves downward three seperate times. when i get home to my digi whammy ill give it a whirl and see what happens
  4. ah i know as soon as i posted it i realized i didnt put it under the request, which i had just done last night so i look stupid :-p and i lied, i wasnt looking for an exact tablature, more so for the other sir said aobut the octave harmonizer, cause when i palyed the exact tab i wasnt getting that sound so i thought maybe i was off somewhere. i forgive your dick comment :-)
  5. i gotcha, idk why the octave pedal didnt occur to me the first time, but anyway, heres the video. still pretty sweet to watch http://youtu.be/hwxcBgl1roE
  6. im sorry i didnt mean to post that yet, the video is uploading to youtube, ill link it when its up
  7. I know there is a tab for who knows who, but i have a really good quality video of who knows who outro at MSG, was wondering if anyone could take a stab at tabbing it?
  8. has anyone ever found (or made) a guitar tab to the live version that Muse plays of Hoodoo? like on what they play on the HAARP DVD? i have the song book but its just gives the straight piano arranged for guitar, and chris definitely plays something different
  9. i did indeed figure it out, he does a quick hammer on with the 8 and 10 combo he uses on the 5th string with a bend!
  10. hey everyone, i havea question here, when matt is playing take a bow at HAARP, theres a part im not quite sure what hes doing on this youtube video clip it occurs right at 2:54-2:55 and on the audio version at the same spot It sounds like he has a subdelay on that note he strikes? or does he double play stike it? ive been trying to duplicate what he does but to no avail so far, any ideas?
  11. what settings would you suggest for the hullabaloo version of microcuts for the intro and verses
  12. i know i may be going out on a stretch, but does anyone here have a boss gt 10 processor that has created a good sound for MOTP? or just general settings for it? i know it involves a lot of intricate delays and whammy ups, but ive been fiddling around trying ot make something on my own and it never comes out quite right
  13. since to me, this seems to be the first tour with widespread discontent in regards to setlists and amount of songs played, i would imagine itd be tough to get a barometer on such a thing until this summer circuit is over and their next tour starts. or i could be totally wrong
  14. thank you! i actually do have a semi decent effect that sounds a lil tangy but its close. my question is whats that extra chord or two he plays on the live version before the last "lonliness be over"
  15. has anyone ever found a good live tab of MOTP? id like to try to get osmething close to HAARP. i have the tab book and its ddefinitely vastly different from what he plays live
  16. Come to be, how did it come to be, tied to a railroad, no love to set us free
  17. with all that has been said, and the creater of the thread, i have to say i am happy with some of the feedback that has been given here. despite the banter and hatred, there definitely does seem to be some consensus to what muse will do in the future, that being said, lets just hope muse never stops, id rather hear the same setlist till the day i die then never hear one at all period
  18. i agree that the night 1 and 2 thing is definitely maddening, but think of it this way. people like you and myself get to see muse, myself twice this year, you 13 ( i envy that greatly by the way) but think about the MILLIONS of people that never get to see them at all or maybe once every few years. i bet they never complain about setlists because theyre beyond thankful for the chance to hear muse in person. not to call you out personally becuase i know its your choice to see them as often as you do, but i have noticed that the people that do the most hating on this board when it pretains to setlists are the people that see them the most, and i think i even mentioned earlier in here somewhere that seeing them a lot definitely does depreciate the value of the show slightly.
  19. i am dumbfounded with the amount of hate in this thread. with the way some of you talk about it i am surprised your muse fans at all. ya its frustrated me with the setlists too, but i still love their music, and i still enjoy every show ive been to to the fullest. i think its a little short sighted and just plain uncalled for to call people you claim to be ur idols cunts and cocks and everything else.
  20. Alright guys im starting to let a little annoyed. i expected this thread to be a little ranty and bashing but not this much. and now some of you are actually taking shots at each other? can we cool it down a bit and actually get back on topic with what this thread is about? namely, not bashing muse, but wondering about what setlists well see in the future
