Hello

My name is Anthony Wayne and I am the director of Washington Lighting, a special event lighting company based in the Washington DC area. We provide lighting for mostly weddings, corporate events, and private social parties. We do provide concert lighting for some smaller local bands a few times a year, but nothing close to the scale of show put on buy a major touring band.

I am not sure if you are the person who can help me with this matter, but if your not, maybe you can put me in touch with who I need to talk to.

I currently have GA tickets to the Baltimore March 3rd 2010 show for myself and 2 employees. Muse has been music that has greatly influenced my life, my lighting design, and my company growing through the years. I was wondering if there is any way to get access to the building when the crews are coming in to setup the show? We would love to watch the show we are going to be setup. We would event offer help, but most major venues are union based and we would not want to upset any rules/regulations. We would be happy watching from seated area if we can not be on floor due to safety needs. We would love to watch the truck unpack, gear load in, rigging, setup, the whole production or any part you could allow. We are looking to use this as a learning experience for concepts we can apply to our own company to continue growth and expansion.

I would like to re-iterate that we are looking to come in and learn, maybe even meet the lighting designer/ board operator of the show. We are not looking to bother the band, or anyone really, just want to watch the big production unfold. We then have tickets to the show.

If you are not the person who can help with this matter, please pass this info onto who ever might be able to help us with this request or let me know what I need to do. I found no way to contact the band, for good reason, If I could, then everyone could, and they would never be left alone. I do not know what production/lighting company that MUSE uses for their concert tour or I would contact them direct for permission.
