People do think for themselves, but putting forward a fact that spoils things doesn't allow that. Remember when you were a child and everything was fun? Yeah? You're spoiling that for people. Well, that's a ridiculous thing to say, but that's the gist of what I'm trying to get across.

I guess you guys have never read an album review before listening to an album where the reviewer points out bad things about the album? It makes you pick up on these things more, especially if you're told that a certain lyric is weak etc. Obviously, the flaw is always there, but someone might just be blissfully ignorant otherwise.

I think the term guitar solo is an odd one. The section where the guitar kicks in in the Hysteria intro, would that be considered a solo? Because it's the same instruments that are playing when the bridge kicks in later. Taking out all of the sections of a track that is like this would leave you with very little to listen to. Everything would just sound like hardcore punk, but with better production.

Ahh man, the piano part to videotape is great, I could hear that tune all day. I love the New Born intro too.

Oh, yeah, that versions probably just as good, I remember that video now. I just remembered him saying that he'd probably being a painter/decorator in three years. He was a wee bit off there.

Haha, yeah, I agree. It probably is one of the hardest instruments to get into.

Yeah, piano can be a really beautiful instrument, but it's ever so hard in my opinion. I just can't get my head round using both hands to play.

Ahh right, cool, I used to play classical guitar. I mostly play electric and bass now, I sometimes play the strange little organ we have in our house, and I once played drums and the flute, although I doubt I have either of those skills left.

That makes sense, I guess there are some songs that just don't sound right if they're not played with a pick.
Yeah, though I'm terrible at playing with fingers unless it's a relaxed song, or it relies on a lot of hammer-ons. My technique on all the instruments I play is ridiculously sloppy, but there's ways round it most of the time. That's one of the reasons I've never posted a cover anywhere though.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I think my parents must think I'm a right lazy slob at times. And I'm glad I'm not the only person who plays bass with a pick, even if you do only do it occasionally. That said, I'm completely out of picks right now, I've been playing guitar with the small change I keep in my pocket.

I must say, I always find it ironic that she sings about being yourself, becase it's the opposite of what she does. Having seen footage of Stefani before she adopted the Lady Gaga persona, she behaved completely differently. I expect a lot of her cosyume choices etc. are mostly done by a marketing team. That said, the same is done for most popular artists now, but it annoys me that she talks about being different and individual when really she's just being the same as everything else. And personally, I think I'd rather pay an extra $80 to meet Kyuss backstage and get some free merch than to pay $400 extra to be in the front row near Gaga. Anyway, I think next tour will be an improvement on The Resistance tour.
