The fourth Muse dream I've ever had:
Muse is going to be playing a gig at a local bar or something, really small, probably only 100 people could fit in there. So I'm waiting at the barrier. Suddenly my dream skips to the space between the regular setlist and the encore (I think this is because I have no Muse concert experience)...
So Matt and Dom walk on stage (I have NO idea where Chris is) and say they're sorry but they can't play SS and KoC because of "technical difficulties."
But they agree to take a seat on some barstools onstage and answer any fan questions...then i woke up

I think a lot of the hate for Sober is pretty unjustified. "but itz a song abaut b00ze" Yeah it is, and it's pretty obvious that it's meant to be tongue-in-cheek. If the song's lyrics are not meant to be taken seriously, then why would you take them seriously?
That in mind, and it also happens to be one of the catchiest songs Muse have ever written. It's actually one of the better songs on Showbiz if you ask me.
I didn't like it for the longest time because I didn't like the guitar at the beginning
but one day I really listened and realized how much I loved it when the bass came in and all melded I don't think it's about booze though, unless when he says "into my glass you poured it" he's referring to a different "you." I see the lyrics as trusting someone, and having them turn on you (like someone giving an alcoholic a drink, the way he describes the drink really sounds like how an alcoholic would)
maybe that's just because I know some alcoholics -

no I understand, I'm just always curious about why people dismiss rap. Most just don't have a reason. My sister also doesn't like rap because it's crude as well -

oh god i would love to get a tattoo... but its against my religion and just forbidden in general so its never going to happen. but IF i could i would get the lyric, or a variation of "falling down, now the world is upside down, I'm heading straight for the clouds..." I've LOVED those lyrics ever since i heard them, even though falling down isnt my favorite song.
I'd probably get them on my inner forearm in a pretty light color so that it would be kind of my "own" thing and maybe with a pretty design.... BUT since i'll likely never get it, thats as far as i'll go

The Resistance got me into Muse... but I do love most of their songs. I think it was more of a "commercial" success that kind of gave me a glimpse of "classic" Muse. Not necessarily "better" but definitely not "worse" that makes only a small bit of sense to me, and I wrote it

Honestly, I really just want them to make like ONE silly song that isn't about eternal love, revolution, or apocalypse
like, just get some simple acoustic stuff going, or piano chords and just sing about, like a Orange Mocha Frappuccino or something. Just as a one off 
they probably wouldn't be able to pull it off though
