Wow, you are an old fart aren't you, while I'm a spring chicken at 46 (mind you, I'll be an old fart too by the time the gig comes around) lol! I'm taking my 18yo son who came to the Echo concert with me and probably my 14yo boy and 13yo daughter as my Missus probably couldn't cope with 2 hours of Matt Bellamy's vocals, although she is warming to Muse.

Looking at your quotes it's sounding like between £9 and £12.50 per head if they can be filled. Do you think it may be worth getting a quote on one of the bigger holiday type coaches and getting an expression of interest using a thread on this forum. I think my father in law might know someone who runs a coach company too, as he booked one for our wedding , although theat was a good few years ago?

I think your times for departing/returning sound about right. I guess we'd need to work out an itinery to give a reasonable coverage of Wirral.
