  1. I think somehow something went wrong with your list because Unintended isn't even on there and some of the numbers towards the bottom of the list are a bit off. Blackout was definitely played more than 3 times this tour
  2. Well the intro and outro make up probably close to half of the length of the song... Resistance is really lovely though. IMO it is better and less cheesy than both Invincible (though I still love this song) and Starlight.
  3. Resistance -> Interlude -> Hysteria is probably my favorite ordering of songs in a setlist. http://youtu.be/u2yMx9RnlTQ?t=56m35s Are there any gigs where the two songs flow into each other with him using the same guitar and doing the tremolo outro of Resistance directly into the tremolo in Interlude?
  4. 1. Nishe (Instrumental) 2. The Gallery (instrumental 3. Forced In (Full song with vocals) 4. Osaka Jam (Instrumental) (Expanded with guitar riffs) 5. New Post-Rock song (instrumental) 6. Minimum (Instrumental 6. Monty Jam (instrumental) 7. Piano Thing (flows straight into next song) 8. Con-Science (Full song with vocals) (outro turning into a 25 minute wall of sound (noise/drone/experimental)
  5. Nope, just the one song plus 45 minutes of droning sounds and weird noises (nothing even close to resembling a riff). And I'm not even trolling, I would genuinely want to see that set.
  6. Are there any other HQ audio or video files of Forced In floating on the internet somewhere? Definitely the coolest instrumental song they've played live, even if it isn't the full song and the full song has vocals. I kind of like it better without the vocals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOFZ0cSXbgU
  7. Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like people were saying that. I was just noting that it seems like there was a general consensus on the subject which might have led to it being something more objective than subjective. Then again, can you really say anything in music is objectively one way or another? Anyways though, I feel like this is the wrong thread to discuss the objectivity of music and art in general though
  8. I honestly am trying to listen for it but I can't hear anything objectively bad about his vocals in the iTunes Festival performance. I'm not saying I don't believe any of you guys or anything, but maybe I'll just stay ignorant and enjoy it.
  9. Am I really that blind that I can't see how Chris is shaky or awkward in that performance...I'm honestly trying to see it but I really can't. I think it sounds quite lovely and tender. Can someone explain to what they see in it that sounds like he is nervous or isn't singing well? I mean I could imagine he would be nervous singing it since it was his 2nd time singing the song live ever but I honestly couldn't even tell that from watching and listening to it.
  10. The post Absolution tour guitar tones personally don't sound bad to me. They just sound different. Maybe Muse just really likes the cleaner, more polished sound for Hysteria now.
  11. At first I was really shocked by how much better I thought that Jools Holland performance of Hysteria sounded than all the more recent performances. So much dirtier sounding with the really cool effect on Matt's vocals and the different guitar tone and an awesome delay effect on the solo! I still think they should bring back that delay effect. But then I realized there are really awesome aspects of almost all the other performances of the recent performances of Hysteria as well. For example here it's really cool how he adds additional notes into the solo http://youtu.be/smak8KQ4OfI?t=4m21s Also I like the variety of different of parts Matt plays along to the intro bass line, from the People of the Sun intro, to doubling the bassline on guitar, to replicating the intro of the studio album
  12. Searching through this thread's posts I'm really surprised to see the consensus that the Reading/Leeds performance of Dark Shine is the best one yet... While I still think it sounds pretty good and in no way bad or anything I feel like it was just too polished and rehearsed sounding. Also it kinda disappoints me that with Morgan being there they couldn't go for having the piano in the song as it is on the record. I prefer this performance WAYYY more because it just seems much more emotive and passionate and filled with energy to me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI28mlmdYDw Also that performance of Hysteria is awesome! I LOVE the huge grin on Matt's face when he seems to realize halfway through the solo how awesome the delay effect sounds on it!
  13. This is surprisingly my first time seeing this even though I love bluegrass and I love the song Endlessly! A really nice take on a too often forgotten song by Muse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CnMhTcO8CM
  14. Maybe I'm partially biased because it comes from a gig I attended but here is a really good performance and high quality bootleg of B&H (with Glastonbury intro) from 2010. http://www.muselive.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=51464 There used to be a reasonable quality youtube video of the whole gig synced up with the great quality audio but I think it might not be online anymore
  15. I think I can see and understand why Matt doesn't do the guitar parts before the solo anymore because it is pretty nuanced and subtle and doesn't really fit the atmosphere of arenas/stadiums but I really love that part! It's really interesting to compare that performance with this performance. I wouldn't really say either one of them is that technically much better of a performance than the other (although I favor the SNL one). I just think they are different kinds of performances, one being very intimate, and the other being more fitted to bigger venues.
  16. I got the email! My best friend didn't get the email but I think it might have been in his spam folder
