Am I right in saying Matt belted the big notes at the end of The Handler? Sounds amazing from the vids I've seen
He did indeed. It was awesome.
-
Really don't get why they haven't played Assassin btw. Already rehearsed, perfect for the festival...
Confusing to say the least.
-
The Handler and Micro Cuts were defo my favourites of the night. That said, they sounded heavy as fuck through the whole thing (except for the bass being low in the mix during Reapers).
-
Dead Star was weird without the synths, but it was nice to see a more old-school performance of it.
-
Matt sounded good in general tonight.
-
I will say though, that was the best performance of Micro Cuts that I've seen live.
-
Thoughts on the gig as a whole, Dee? I thought the first half was amazing but shit kinda crashed after Dead Inside. Still, really good performances though imo (especially CE, Agitated, Micro Cuts, New Born and TH) and no Starlight
Edit: kinda gutted about no AP and Assassin (though I guess that was never really likely) as well.
I was on board at the start, but when I realised they were skipping AP and went straight to Dead Inside, that's when I knew. I knew the fun was over.

The Handler was boss.
-
Dead Star and Citizen Erased were both slower than usual. Especially CE.
-
That gig took a wrong turn after CE. Much like the album, the first half was superior.

I believe we have a long day of rain and mud ahead of us. Let's hope Muse make it worth the trouble!
-
where did Dom mention Dead Star?
To some fans who met him.
-
Early morning tomorrow, see you all tomorrow/Saturday.

Any news for this bit? I saw a pre-sale clip but it was quickly deleted. The date in the clip would be 23rd September.
Well in that case maybe they just haven't announced it yet. You'll have to wait and keep an eye out on http://muse.mu/tour-dates.htm.

Mods insulting people now? How tremendously professional.
And terribly funny in a thread called "Abuse".
-
If you type kerrang muse into twitter search and go down a couple of posts, you'll see the scansDOWNLOAD!
Sexual. Cheers.
-
If he's on about the setlist...
One can only hope.
-
I'll be pointing my Misguided Warning stick at you in a minute if you don't stop being a bellend. Pack it in.
He did ask, to be fair.

Just read the Kerrang article on Muse at Download! It's quite funny as it has a sub-section with Matt responding to twitter nay-sayers on Muse being a headline act at this metal festival!
From the main interview, Matt says this is the heaviest they're likely to ever be! So that's really promising, can hardly wait! So glad I took the plunge! Just need some heavy wind to blow the rain clouds away, please....
Do you have the scans of it, by any chance?
-
It ends up with misguided warnings being handed out for increasingly lofty reasons.
-
We'll be the judge of that, thank you.
Yeah, I know how that usually goes.

For what it's worth, I think she meant to say "objective," it can be easy to mix the two up. And I'm sure the reviewer doesn't care (or is even aware of) what anyone on the Muse boards thinks of their review.
You could have expressed your opinion in a more tactful manner and actually attempt to have a decent conversation with her, but instead you jumped straight to sarcastic insults. There's a reason you and Fabri have a certain reputation for negativity, and it wasn't created out of nowhere. You're much more pleasant on Facebook, but I guess that's because anonymity is gone there.
Sarcastic replies aside, I don't think that invalidates the points being questioned or raised on our end. Besides, why should the onus be entirely on us to keep the discussion going or get it started? The comment was sarcastic, it was not abusive, offensive or whatever. They could have expanded on their thoughts rather than reply back with an equally snarky "Mature." as if they are somehow above it all because they happen to be older. People get offended far too easily (especially by bad reviews, apparently).
-
None of the posts in question were offensive, abusive or whatever.
-
It seems the main role for you two in this thread is to defend the negative reviews whenever someone disagrees with them. Does doing so help you validate your own opinions or something? No need to be rude to her just because she disagrees with a review.
Disagreeing with a review is fine. Claiming that a review is "hardly subjective" (which is literally what a review is) is wrong. To then also claim that the reviewer is not a fan is an assumption and isn't even necessarily relevant, and saying that the reviewer doesn't have a clue what they're talking about is also rude.
I don't need anyone else to know what I think about things, and to imply that is also pretty rude imho. In fact your entire post is an assumption based on two posts I've made, two out of three in total in this thread by the way.

Are there videos of Agitated?
