  1. I think some of the other folk on the thread might find the info useful, do you mind if I copy it there or would you like to post yourself?

    :)

  2. Hi Nat :)

thanks for the info, most useful! The thing about coming into the city isn't because I don't want to, I'd love to see it! But I do intend to be right at the front so I'm not messing around too much, lol, and yes I'll be eating before I go in, . I'll have to look up restaurants as I don't eat in McDs and can't eat anything with wheat in, are there any supermarkets in the area around the arena?

    Thanks again :)

    Tracy

  3. Hi! yeah I saw your tweet earlier, thanks so much :-) does make life loads easier... love your avvy btw! Snape! *always*

  4. As was explained on the Columbus thread, iirc, it varies from venue to venue, you'd be better off asking on the thread for the gig you're going to as it's more likely that the folk there will have been to a gig at the same place recently enough for it to be the same process.
  5. Â rude, yeah, and painful! elbows are pointy! My one and only time so far doing the mental in-the-mix thing (Wembley, 2nd row back by the runway-barrier on Matt's side) I made a point of assuring the people in front of me that if I was sticking my arm through it was only to hold on, not to shove in! Arms are either up in the air or down by sides otherwise.
  6. I just had a cunning-plan kind of thought, of putting phone and camera on lanyards (where the wrist-strap goes) and then attaching them with a keyring or carabiner or something to jeans belt-loop or bag-strap or whatever, both as a way of reducing pickpocket risk and risk of dropping, if you let go it's only going to go as far as the strap goes, also it makes it easier to swap from one to the other for tweeting or whatever... prolly not a new thought but I don't think I've seen it mentioned in this thread...
  7. not me but yesterday dh came home from the local shop ranting, "Bloody Muse! can't bloody get away from them, they're always on in the car () they were on in the bloody shop!" "oh really?? (local shop generally has the radio on) which song?" "I don't bloody know! Bloody Muse!!"
  8. Â Depends where you are, perhaps, and if you're in numbered seats or if it's a GA bunfight. It's a bit easier to take pics and such, and you have somewhere to park your bum and just enjoy the pure glory of Exogenesis (I leaned back on the top of my folded-up seat at Sheffield) and you can go to the loo if someone can hold your place for you. I haven't experienced the floor yet but I imagine just the sheer press of bodies leads to a more intense experience.
