  1. It actually makes me almost regret buying tickets for Life is Beautiful. I can only hope that they'll realize what a stupid fucking idea that is and drop it by the time September rolls around.
  2. 1. Dig Down 2. Psycho 3. Hysteria 4. Resistance 5. Plug in Baby 6. Isolated System 7. The Handler I think Matt sounds fine so far. But my goodness was that embarrassing when nobody would sing along to PiB.
  3. Haven't seen any discussion of this yet, and I figured it deserved its own thread. Matt said on the KROQ interview here http://kroq.cbslocal.com/2017/05/18/muse-dig-down/ (@10:14) that they will be releasing a sort of reissue of the first two albums that will be called 'Origin of Muse.' As an "autobiography" of the music, it includes the story of how those albums came about as well as rare and unheard music. Matt hopes to have it out this fall.
  4. My interpretation of the video was that Muse were sending a message to that woman telling her there is still hope and that she should find some way to resist/escape. So she fights her way out but at the end discovers she is in some larger complex and the message just came from some sort of A.I. (the thing with all the broken screens)?
  5. Yeah good point. The alt-right hating this would probably improve my opinion of the song, as petty as that is of me. I actually like the video. Nothing mind-blowing but it's nice to look at.
  6. Yeah Muse pop songs never really sound like anything on the radio imo. And I'm glad for that to be honest. Though after how much I adore Paramore's new album, I wouldn't have minded if Dig Down had been more like Hard Times.
  7. I'm just gonna wait to listen to the full song. But the bit in the interview about their next album just being a compilation of songs they have already released as singles is really disappointing to me. I really enjoy the process of listening to a new album for the first time. Meh.
  8. That would be one of the few types of collabs that I wouldn't mind. And I *could* see an OoS/Hullabaloo era-style of Muse song working with Blade Runner, but I'd be surprised if the new song had any connection to it.
  9. Just announced that Muse will be headlining Saturday. I'll be trying to get a single day ticket for that day since 3-day passes sold out before I had the chance to get one.
