I have a friend in Germany, also Muse obsessed, and she's seen Muse something like 8 times this year, and been to 3 of the main stadium shows so far, plus the upcoming Wembley shows... so jealous. I don't think living in NZ/AU is very good for Muse fans, we get kinda deprived in comparison hehe

They'll probably play the same setlist both nights, and seeing the show once makes it more special Hehe plus you'll get a head start if you head to the arena the night the night you aren't seeing them, and wait around the back, away from the queues, and try and score an autograph. You can do that if you aren't in a hurry to get into the show hehe... you gotta try and meet them

Haha I was hoping it'd have that effect! When Muse come onstage and you can prepare for the best experience of your life Oh sounds like you've got great seats! I don't really like crowds, but I like to get as close as possible. I'm not that big though so I get kinda knocked around in the standing area, but oh well Hmm good point about the towers actually, they did say they were bringing their full show back, so yeah, you'll almost certainly get the towers And yeah, if they are consistent with previous timetables, they will be back in late 2013. Such a long time to wait... BUT by then I'll hopefully be able to have enough money to go see them in Australia if they neglect NZ again... OR go see them when they play Wembley or something, which is definitely on my to-do list hehe. I have 3 years to save up

Aww that sucks! Great that you get to see them in December though. But yeah I saw them at the BDO, which was a pretty cool first time for seeing them... didn't get to see the We Are the Universe intro or anything though, but we got the Helsinki Jam, which was insane. And they did some Dead Star and Microcuts riffage... probably the closest I'll get to seeing those live hehe. So yeah, it'll be your first time seeing them right? The first "Pow pow!" thing in Uprising is so amazingly loud, really makes Matts presence known... and when Hysteria starts, Dom pounds his bass drum so you feel a massive blast at the exact moment the bass starts which is sooo cool. And lucky, you'll get the MK Jam! You know you have to get right up the front. I don't know how you are with crowds, but the pushing is heaviest over on Matts side, so whatever you are into really

I'm actually really excited for you haha. Even so, I still check the site every hour or so incase they say "Muse to play NZ in early 2011" or something. Can't see it happening though.

Oh I see - lucky it didn't happen while your Dad was there! I know they had to shut the airport because of it. But I think most Chch people have just accepted it now. Oh and thanks, but we seem pretty secure in Napier for the moment Though I made a poster about it to keep spirits up:

So yay for CE and B&H last night! Was sooo tired staying up hehe. But yeah, lucky people... I don't know if I'll ever see either of those live I bet they'll play either CE or Bliss for you in December... and maybe something like Fury. Near the end of the tours they always start to pull out a few b-sides. When they played here in 2007 they played RBS, Fury and Citizen Erased... and I couldn't go because of an exam on that day. When I heard they played Fury I was heartbroken

Sorry I keep forgetting how much bigger Australia is than NZ, I'm only used to like 3 hour drives to most places hehe Haha no worries, Chch is in the South Island, and I'm in the North... but yeah, Napier sits on the same faultline I think... and Napiers already been destroyed once. Kinda annoying to know that any given city here could be destroyed at any moment. Do you get earthquakes over there? (Oh also I'm just presuming you were talking about the earthquake when you asked about Chch, otherwise I've just gone off on a weird tangent haha )

Oh great! I knew I wouldn't be disappointed but thats good to hear that anyway Hehe sure thing, I'm kinda commited to it now... saved 30 webcam images so far haha, pretty cool watching the crowd build up, I'm sure it'll look awesome animated. And oh man, its only 4:10 and already I can hear the birds outside!!! Thats hardly fair haha, so it looks like I'll be taking Monday off to sleep haha I'm sure my tutor wont mind too much...

Haha well since I didn't do a very good job with fathers day this year, I'm also downloading a documentary "the story of the guitar" to put on a DVD for Dad. And it has an interview with Matt Bellamy on it to, yay! Also saving each webcam image so I can make an animation out of them all when Muse have finished playing which should be cool hehe.
