  1. Muselive has been dead to me since after TR's release. What happened? They were so good. Now it's just trashy fanatic Twitter accounts that misreport everything just like they now did that are the main avenues of unofficial info
  2. It doesn't necessarily have to, but it didn't fit the theme nor did it show any particular excitement on their part. I always got the vibe that they used this artwork (and even went so far as to use the Higgs Boson as a placeholder for a while) because they had no ideas. Looking at it reminds me how the record was more of a "grab bag" than anything.
  3. I think it's boring to go back to old album artists unless they're Storm Thorgerson or Jeff Jordan who can keep things feeling fresh each time. La Boca's not bad but their art feels very samey and this record seems to want to differentiate itself
  4. You seem like you have a grudge against the guy. I wouldn't go so far to call him a sell-out, it's just marketing strategy. He asks for album suggestions to review, views some, ignores some. I dunno. Whatever he's doing works for him, though I have noticed he isn't super punctual with release date timing as you said.
  5. No, he reviews music that has an audience. He's open to suggestions and things. I don't think he's the all-knowing Fantano lord music guru that many take him for, but his approach to reviews are at least thought out and "honest" rather than some of the trash you'd see at Pitchfork.
  6. What do you mean by "high meticulous"? Goes without saying what I said is my opinion but it really is a great feeling to find others with niche tastes in one convenient place whenever you'd like. Share threads are great there.
  7. Works with Radiohead crowds. Says something doesn't it? Dynamics = good, except for those with 0 attention spans
  8. If the new album sounds like Liquid State im going to kill myself
  9. Typical English language-side-of-.mu "postivity"
