  1. John Carpenter should be talking to his lawyers about Algorithm. Propaganda has a bit of a Trevor Horn/Art Of Noise vibe in between the Museness. Is Break It To Me a Timbaland one? That makes sense.. GUAF is 2 songs that shouldn't have been glued together. Blockades is Muse by numbers Void is decent. The acoustic mixes are better even if Human is a ringer for Kylie's last big hit Like it, hope loads of details come out while listening to it a bit more.
  2. De Staat > 30STM all day long. Which means it won't happen
  3. Yep, saw Mode and GnR last year and they pretty much kettle people between stadium and Stratford stn, easier to nip up to the Greenway if thats an option.
  4. London Stadium has had separate tickets for Golden Circle for bands I've seen there. Big gap in the dates after too.
  5. Even more on now, never tried buying from twickets - looks like there's a lot of front end to plough before actually getting them..
  6. Arena standing on Twickets at the mo - genuinely surprised how much resale there has been.
  7. If it's Seetickets then it's not resale, they're an authorised seller.
  8. Normally gets posted on the event page as soon as they know: https://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2018/muse/
  9. £1200 would almost cover a decent trip for some back to back euro stadium dates, esp if they're doing multiple nights in the same cities. The RAH show isn't going to compete with SBE for setlist, I reckon it's gonna be a good opportunity to see the new stuff up close and some staples.
  10. Entirely reasonable but won't happen RAH set: Algorithm The Dark Side Pressure Propaganda Break It to Me Something Human Thought Contagion Get Up and Fight Blockades Dig Down (Choir/Organ) The Void ------------ CE3K / Knights TIRO Mercy ------------ Riffs/Agitated TaB
  11. It's unlike anywhere else, never get tired of it I don't know how many times we've been, first time was 92. We've always been very lucky with the crowd wherever we were in there. And the staff do wade in for misbehaviour if they can. Got a Grand Tier box for John Williams in a fortnight so crossing our fingers we won't be sharing it with bellends.. At least we've got the front row
  12. You Fucking Motherfucker is the only song I'd want dedicated to me...
  13. There are 12 entrances - which should all open at the same time. Can't remember which door is Standing but it will be on the tickets. Expect ticket scans and bag searches from ushers (RAH staff no security) at the first door. If you're standing and want barrier then you'll need to go immediately downstairs, not into the main corridor/bar/merch area. Head towards the centre of the building, past the bar entrances and there will be another door with an usher checking tickets. There are 3 (I think) doors into the arena, once through, you need to go back up some stairs to get to the actual standing area. It's not big but the stage is quite wide.
  14. That's London crowds for you! It was a great show last time, one of my favs
  15. Don't give up if you've missed out again - there's a weird thing with RAH tickets that means more are likely to become available in small numbers. Lots of seats are privately owned (debentures) and tickets can't be sold for them. If you contact RAH box office direct by phone then you may be able to get lucky as these seats are released for sale when the seat owners decide they don't want to go to an event (some send them back to RAH, some stick them on tout sites ). It's unlikely to be today but it's worth a try closer to the time.
  16. If you want front row you can expect to queue twice - quite often they let people in the exterior doors before the auditorium, which has more doors, is open (arena is downstairs first and then up again, not ground level).
  17. All the load in and load out is done under the building via Prince Consort Rd so v little public crossover. Book a tour in the afternoon and hope you catch a bit of soundcheck.
  18. This is definitely the most detailed seating plan in circulation - if you want the skinny on individual seats then the Monkey has the answers: http://www.theatremonkey.com/ROYALALBERTHALLbooking.htm#Ve It will be meltingly hot up in circle.
  19. Flight time for Schipol to London Southend is about 35 mins and decent price on Easyjet
