  1. I'm going to Cologne as well and also saw the hotel prices. I've now booked a hotel in Düsseldorf which is only about 20 mins by train from the venue (Köln Messe-Deutz station) and hotels there are a lot cheaper.
  2. I also had problems being linked to Starlight Express. In my blind panic I bought one of those tickets but after calling Ticketmaster they paid my money back on my credit card. But in the end I got my Muse ticket for Cologne.
  3. Hai!

  4. Unfortunately this is quite common. I've read these stories on many other bandforums. Indeed, a trick question before buying tickets would be excellent. something like what was Muse's first album called or something like that. Scum of the earth, touts are. But as long as people buy tickets off them, be it on ebay or outside the venue on the day of the gig, the will be around.
  5. Usually it's sooner than what they say, but yes it can take quite a long time before they send them out. They might do so to make it difficult for touts to sell their tix on ebay. People are more willing to buy tickets that are "in hand" rather than tickets that will be sent to you "as soon as received from promotor". And of course they send out thousands of tickets a day, selling tickets to dozens and dozens of gigs. We have to wait our turn!
