Ah I have 2 different answers! The worst thing would be to get a tattoo with the wrong lyrics. I might not even go with those lyrics if I can't figure it out!

I want to get lyrics from Map of the Promblematique tattooed on my ribs or my back. I want to get the verse "Why can't we see, that when we bleed we bleed the same." but my issue is..I don't know if it is the above or " Why can't we see, when we bleed we bleed the same." I'm getting conflicting information from different lyric websites. Does anyone know the correct lyrics? Also, I don't know how the sentence is formed grammatically. Since the first part is a question (Why can't we see) do I end it in a question mark or do I end it in a period because the second part (*that* when we bleed we bleed the same) is a statement? Any ideas?
