    I'm torn on Reapers. IT's definitely better than Psycho IMO but it almost sounds like an ACDC song (thanks Mutt). I definitely enjoy it, but it looks like I'll wait for the studio version to make a full decision. Also, are we expecting them to play different songs each night? I know I saw a tweet earlier saying to only expect 2 new songs tonight and more will be added in later. Fingers crossed we hear Dead Inside soon.

    I can see why most people like it a lot, I'm personally just not a fan of Muse doing stadium rock opera...

    I feel like there truly is. Survival wasn't exactly a homerun, nor was it indicative of all of T2L. I say look forward to Drones based on Dead Inside, which we'll more than likely hear Sunday night.

    Yeah the riff gets a little old and the song is kind of long, but I still enjoy those aspects. I even enjoy the melody of "Your ass belongs to me now." I can even get over how blunt and cheesy the lyrics are. The drill sergeant is what pushes the whole thing over the edge for me. I really like Psycho, but that damn sergeant is holding it back in my eyes.

    I'm hoping it's a song that has actual lyrics or is, you know, a normal song. My least favorite parts of TR and T2L are that the endings just feel too over the top.

    I actually don't remember this one, I think I stopped logging in about a month or so before the album released. Maybe we can do it again with Drones?

    oh my god everyone got pissed when the US decided to "recognize the United States of Eurasia" because we though that if we recognized, we wouldn't get Collateral Damage at the end of USoE. We also thought that CD was going to be an epic guitar outro or something. In reality Muse were going to give it to us no matter what.

    I love that they experimented, loved the high quality production, and honestly even liked the pop songs and pieces of the style. I'm glad they got their name out there with Uprising and Madness. It just feels like so long now that we've been without their original style, and I miss it.

    This is exactly what I thought. I got into Muse and the first thing I saw was HAARP and the Glastonbury gigs on YouTube. I was so pumped for my first concert, and it's the one where they're fucking stuck on video towers the whole time. T2L tour was better though, so maybe with this rock album we'll get high energy stuff.

    To be honest, I did really like Res and T2L in the first few weeks after release. Now though I just wish we could get a return to OoS or Abs style, which this hopefully is.
