  1. If you can go and see them in reading (25 mins from London by train, easier than Shepherd's Bush, not sold out) there's no real reason to vote for any staples, or even common rotated songs, such as SS or New Born. They'll almost definitely be played the week after.

The Belfast show is also not sold out. Just a shame the flights on the Wednesday are a bit crud.

  2. Oh nvm didn't know there was another group specifically for voting choices. Requested to join, might make the post in there instead.

Edit: Fun fact, Eternally Missed is the only song to make it onto every confirmed list I have so far.

Someone already has. They've put up the songs from the official list and people are placing down what they voted for.

  3. So, anyone got any idea how swapping tickets would work for this gig?

I'm fine with my ticket but if I can find someone to swap for stalls with, that'd be ideal for me. I didn't have to go through that process for Manchester Academy though so I've no idea how people organise it.

It doesn't look so easy, considering you have to present the card used to purchase the ticket before you go in. It also says tickets are non-transferable

  4. Dead Star would be a sliiightly confusing addition imo, if unsurprising. I'd wager a decent amount of people, maybe even the majority, attending this show will have seen it already. Just from recent years, it's been done at Download, Warchild, Mancs Academy and 3 times on the UK 2013 stadium tour.

Unless people just haven't seen it in a small venue and want to? I'd understand that, was miles better at Mancs Academy than the other two times I saw it. It'd be like me with CE - seen it 4 or 5 times already but I'd be up for seeing it in a small venue for the first time, even if I'm not voting for it.

If I hadn't seen it at Download it would probably be on my list. Sometimes you just get unlucky on the dates you go to. Like, I went to the Saturday of the first Wembley shows and missed SFO =[

  5. So I'm honestly tempted to add songs that I've seen live, but I genuinely can't remember them because at the time I was only properly getting into the band - eg Explorers, Falling Down, Host, United States of Eurasia - although I think I vaguely remember Explorers? But Idk what to do!!

Get on setlist.fm to see what songs were played at the shows you went to.

  6.

Have you done a really long queue before? The general procedure is that you show up, you're given a number which is written on your hand with a marker, stick around for a little bit until some other people show up so that they know you were in front of them. Then you can go do whatever you want (go for a pint, food, toilets etc), provided you don't take it to the extreme like show up at the night before the gig, get number 1 for your queue, then leave and not come back until 5 minutes before doors.

I've obviously not shown up early enough then for that! The longest I did was the Wembley show in 2007 where we queued for 8 hours, but you could easily leave for the toilet, etc. I hope they use the same strategy for the SB show!

  7. I'll be getting there around 9.30am, since one of my friends is queuing for the standing barrier. I really doubt there will be much of a queue for the seats, but regardless it'll be the usual number system to keep track of where people are in the queue.

I imagine I'll show up earlier in the day and see how the seating queue is. If it's reasonable I may pop off for a pint and see some friends.

  8. You're not alone - I've been considering doing the same. I've seen Easily pop up on a few lists.

I've now also realised I didn't put Assassin on my list - that would make it about 15/16 songs to narrow down now. There's some songs I've never heard live (this will be my 5th gig) like Bliss and Stockholm Syndrome, but I could well be 'wasting' my vote on these if they play a few extra, anyway. I might also get the chance to hear them in the future.

Also, I'm getting there about 2pm (my friend is travelling from abroad) - will this be enough time to get a decent Level 2 position? I know it's probably like asking 'How long is a piece of string?', but as far as I gather, there's only a few rows (I am 5'3, though). Also, at more intimate shows, do people ever catch a glimpse of the band walking past the queue?

It's going to be a long month!

Well, by the sounds of things, people aren't really voting for Stockers or Bliss, so there's little chance they'll play them. Easily is a great shout though!

With seating I'm not sure. I imagine, like me, most people here queue for 5/6+ hours to get a good standing spot. If seating is unreserved (I'm also on level 2) then I'll happily queue for as long!

  9. Nope, I had repeat exams on at the same time so couldn't go. :(

I'm aware most of the OoS songs wont get a vote for that exact reason, but still, I'd hate myself if I didn't vote for Darkshines.

    That sucks =[.

The sole reason Hyper Music isn't on my list is because I saw it at Reading!
