  1. I remember being pretty shocked when he did the Bb4 at Taratata. That whole performance is ace. I was really surprised by how Matt coped on the T2L tour, especially on the first part of the tour. He really give it his all on the newer songs and sounded great on the older stuff. It's understandable he had to ease off as the tour went on but props to him. I remember the Manchester gig was their third gig in a row and he still went for it in Follow Me, Madness and Survival. A bit off topic but I'd love them to bring back Sing For Absolution, just to see how he'd do on the final section these days.
  2. Despite my best efforts not to spoil it for myself, I always give in when it comes to looking at set-lists, but this time I'm determined to remain spoiler free! I keep hearing great things about the Barrowlands as a venue, can't wait to make my way up from Liverpool tomorrow!
  3. Yeah good point! How do you think he'll do with his chest voice on this album? I wouldn't expect it live but do you think he could match or top the big notes he hits in Madness?
  4. Granted I haven't read the last 10 pages so it may have already been mentioned, but I love that final falsetto note. Reminds me of Muscle Museum in the way that it matches the guitar.
  5. Yeah, here's hoping. Looking back at the Zepp setlist I'm hopeful for things like Hyper Music, Agitated and Dead Star. Perhaps Fury too? It'd be cool if they threw in a rare piano song as well. I'd love to see Futurism but I'm not getting my hopes for it ever coming back, as magnificent as it was at the Zepp.

    Tour Visuals

Love the visuals they used for Apocalypse Please.
  7. I'd say it was a pretty brilliant tour overall. While I still prefer the rotations and general songs played on the BHaR tour, this tour had a lot of rare songs and surprising moments, Zepp being the main one. Plus the band really seemed to give it their all each night, much more than on the TR tour. It's just a shame this era ended on such a limp note with those shorter sets and Matt's vocal issues. Also I wish I had gone to the Glasgow gig, if only to hear that final RBS chorus
  8. T2L era stadium set with some rotations for back to back shows: Unsustainable bomb intro 1. Supremacy 2. Uprising 3. Supermassive Blackhole 4. Panic Station 5. Bliss 6. Hysteria/Resistance 7. Knights 8. Sunburn 9. Apocalypse Please/Hoodoo 10. Ruled By Secrecy 11. Butterflies and Hurricanes 12. Map of the Problematique 13. Follow Me 14. Madness 15. TIRO/Starlight 16. Liquid State/Plug in Baby 17. Assassin/Hyper Music 18. Stockholm Syndrome B-Stage 19. Sing for Absolution 20. Muscle Museum/Showbiz 21. Take a Bow 22. Citizen Erased 23. Survival
  9. 1. RBS from Glasgow. Ultimate version of my fav Muse song 2. Futurism from the Zepp. 3. City of Delusion from...Denver? (The one where Matt held the A4 in the last chorus). 4. Showbiz from Eden 2006. 5. Assassin from Isle of Wight 2007. I'd quite like to see a performance of SFA and Muscle Museum from 2006/2007 too, and it's a shame they didn't try Madness once in its original key.
  10. Was hoping it would be RBS from Glasgow or Micro Cuts from Montreal but nevermind, still a great performance.
  11. Looked like SS was absolutely immense that night, especially the Freedom outro, you're right though. If they knew they were filming the show they could have at least played a different set that night, Bliss, Dead Star and Sunburn haven't featured on a DVD for a while. Can't understand them leaving out Unsustainable
  12. With Map, SS and Liquid State gone I just get excited about this Really hope the Blu-Ray/DVD features more songs.
  13. That Youtube clip from Japan sounded pretty damn good to me.
  14. I'm not an expert on these things but I wouldn't have thought Shrinking Universe would be a problem. He hits and hold the same sort of note in Supremacy and it doesn't seem all THAT hard for him.
  15. The best performances I've ever seen of Map and Bliss were both at Wembley 2010. I thought Bliss was a little weak at Leeds (although the synth intro was pretty cool). Both were very good on the UK dates this tour. I was worried that if I ever saw Dead Star live it wouldn't be able to meet my expectations, but it was sublime when I heard it this on this tour, especially Coventry. Edit: I guess it's sort of controversial seeing as it's not a particularly loved song, but Invincible at Wembley blew my mind.
  16. What did you think of the gig Ryoma? It's shit that you didn't get Bliss/Map and Blackout/Unintended but was the rest of the show good? It must have been strange to have the whole gig in daylight.
