Can you post a photo of the magazines? Especially the ones they are on the cover of? Thanks.
Sure, my PC broke earlier so I cant upload any better than mobile pics again but heres a few:

eBay is a rubbish guide of what stuff is worth (the TIRO DVD is listed once for over £60, I know it's not that much). Offers welcome via PM.
Terrible phone camera picture for proofs:
EDIT: I've also got various music magazines Muse are on the cover of/heavily featured in and a completely unused USOE flag if anyone is interested.

Constructive criticism on just about anything is welcome...

I bought this earlier, only £29!
I doubt i'll be getting in to lomography long term, or very much at all, i'm really looking forward to building it and giving it a try though, should be fun! Hopefully delivery doesn't take too long.

Congratulations to Deano! Pick the new theme please
Thanks! Sorry for the delay, i've been struggling to think of something fun. I'll post it in the discussion thread in a minute.

Very nice Deano, I think trainspotting is my favourite.
Thanks! That wasy favourite content wise too, but it's out of focus (forgot to switch back to autofocus ) so I didn't submit it to the competition.

Matthijs, what camera mode would you recommend for taking photos at gigs? With my DSLR, I always shoot manual and adjust ISO and shutter speed depending on lighting, how far I'm zooming in, etc.
I also just received my Lumix camera yesterday and played around with it...tried Av (slow shutter), Tv (dark photos), and manual (eh). Manual is ok but the camera interface makes it difficult to quickly adjust ISO. Can't decide what would be best for the gig tomorrow. Then again, I haven't tried any of the available modes (auto, P, C1, C2 whatever they are).
I'm not Matthijs but I have Lumix TZ10 aswell which has a very fast burst mode (10 fps iirc) which is like cheat mode so long as the light is half decent. Problem with that is all you get are low quality jpegs and the zoom is limited. Other than using that i've just done my best on shutter priority with a high ISO when using my compact.
[spoiler=examples using lumix burst mode on speed priority (rather than image priority)]

These are very nice entries!
Thank you
You mean photos don't you ?I'm thinking about making a specific thread for the photo challenges explaining rules etc. Updating the first post on the new challenge details etc. and make a general discussion specifically aimed at the challenge.
Voting polls can go later; I don't think we need to make them anonymous, as most of use will put them online anyway, unless someone is really in favour for anonymous entries.
I think making a new thread is a good idea. As for anonymity, do you mean the photos or the votes on poll? It's too late for me this time if it's the former . Either way, i'm not bothered about it being anonymous.

Ooh extreme angles sounds fun!Extreme angles sounds awesome
I like 5 & 6. Really need to get back into photography, but I find its just so much easier to snap a photo on my phone than lug around an expensive DSLR. AND my phone does 8mpx, my camera does like.. 10.
ALSO Gil those photos turned out amazing! love the light in them.
Extreme angles it is then? Shoot til 31st January then a week to vote & winner picks the next theme?

Maybe if this thread stays lively we could have a monthly (or something) mini challenge?
I'm up for that too. Maybe something similar to r/picturechallenge on Reddit? People submit photos for the first monthly theme, we all vote on the best at the end of the month, and the winner chooses next month's theme, ans it continyes as such.

Amazing details! Photos like that often end up being over-/underexposed in some areas, but this is all very nicely balanced.
Thank you
+1 to that! If I would have to really point something out it's that the horizon is only slightly crooked, easily fixable. Can't complain though as this is a hand held shot probably! NiceThank you too. Did you notice the crookedness with the naked eye? It was a handheld shot but I rotated and cropped it before anything else, thought I'd got it right but I just checked it with rulers and it's like 3 pixels out

I was bored last night but too lazy to go and shoot somewhere so I decided to do some editing of pictures from Budapest last summer. I'm pleased with this one:

I think I need to experiment more, still feel like a lot of my photos are too snapshotty. I might do Project 52 in 2013.

Say we missed out on the presale, how hard is it to get tickets general sale? I'm guessing pretty hard
First UK Resistance tour all standing tickets had sold out in less than an hour, followed by most of the seating a few hours later iirc.
