  1. Okay, this is going to sound lame, but my Starlight is this boy named Aaron Craven because he inspires me. I love how he carries himself and doesn't let the little things bother him. His smile is infectious. I wish he knew how I felt. I wish he would give me a chance. He's my Starlight. I wanna be his.

I think about him all the time. Although, he may not think about me, I want him to know from the bottom from my heart that I love him. I really do. It's not just hormones; there's more. It's more. Be my Starlight, Aaron.

Your name is strong. You're strong. Just open your eyes. I'm right here...in front of you.

"Hold....you in my arms. I just wanted to HOLD."

  2. Chez,

That's fantastic! I'm glad you write! It helps me get my feelings out (I'm a proud introvert).

    Fleurder???

Don't worry about your song writing! I too am a musician, although I play the violin and piano (it's okay to laugh).

I love to imporvise with both insturments but cannot play the two together simultaneously.

Anyways, I am also working on a novel. I've been at it for roughly two years. I do do some poetry and am working on a sonnet. I'm debating to post some of my stuff in case someone copy's it...

  3. CHez,

You are quite amazing! I'm close to my cuz; he said he'd get me a real nice jacket for my birthday! I'm hoping to show it off...when he gives it to me!

I don't know why we can't bring it back... I feel powerful and...bad ass when I wear leather! I have a half jacket, which I wear almost everyday.

  4. What books/movies/songs (or anything else) influence your writing? Do your personal opinions provide a solid foundation for your writing? Are you inspired by universal themes, poems, people, religion, or other writers?

WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO WRITE WHAT YOU DO??????

For me, Lord of the Flies, Dune, The Great Tree of Avalon, 1984, Anthem, Into the Wild are a few that have sparked ideas for me. Sometimes random images of things unviel what I want. For poetry, it's my emotions and views on opinions that influence me (Although I haven't written anything for a year now :( )

    Cheers

    PS What's your opinion???

  5. This goes back to humanity's "punish all for the sin of one". Why are we going to pay for the transgressions of others? Our planet is dying. Why? Why? Why?

Perhaps we should colonize the Moon and Mars....

  6. As an atheist, I grow tired of Christians and everyone else who trys to persuade me to 'Believe'. Why do they do this? What makes religion SO FREAKING AWESOME? I think it's a load of bull shit designed to control society and manipulate the masses. *How ironic becuase Tought's of a dying Athiest is playing in the background*. Humans feel the need to have a Supreme Being answer all of the unexplainable causes for things. Why? I don't. Why should others? How come we can see that THERE IS NO GOD?

It's nicer to think that we can live a free life, unrestricted by the rehetoric of religion. I feel happier and wiser than others (or maybe arrogant).

    Cheers

  7. Well, darkshines9 I write Sci Fi because I was inspired by the world Frank Herbert created (Dune series.) His ideas inspired me to come up with something creative so I am currently working on a novel but am struggling to DEVELOPE a charcter. I also write poetry. You are correct. Writing and reading help one escape the nuances of society and life. Please read the Dune series if you have not. It is a fantastic universe. (Feel free to join the Dune group_or not...:))

  8. I never get writer's block. I don't believe in it. :) Here's the deal, if you're like me, stuff has to come to you in an epiphany type way. If I were you, I would spend maybe two hours on the internet. Search for random stuff and listen to random music (sometimes musicals/soundtracks help). That may jumpstart your brain. Don't worry though. I know you will figure it out. Please feel free to post a poem. I never judge what people write about.

There definitley should be more writers!!!
