I stand by it.

I was of course interested to see who this person was. Didn't take me more than a few seconds to find this

You haven't been silenced. You've been told multiple times where to direct your complaints and yet you voice them here as if you're standing in public with a megaphone screaming about being silenced. A mod even asked you to send him examples of the injustice and unfit behavior by Niall, yet you keep telling us to just go and find it ourselves.
You're the one with the accusations, the burden of proof is on you.

I thought that was clear from his very first post:Sounds like you're just jealous that they contacted Niall and not you.
I have been following this Origin of Muse thread, and in the last few Day's reading most of admin Niall's posts and threads on this site. it took me a while.
which is why I have now become a member.
why would Muse management ask Niall for help with the Origin of Symmetry project?
other fan sites would know who the real hardcore collectors out there are.
why not ask them?.
other members should read all his posts and judge for themselves.
the real collectors out there will pick up on his mistakes.
hope Muse management read this.
not the sort of person you really want working for your website.
all the best, Lyle.
Basically this person saw Niall say that management had asked him for help, so he went into Niall's post history, fueled by rage.

These people aren't paid. If the "privilege" of administrating and moderating a site full of shitheads also required them to never share their own thoughts and never be wrong, this board would have been dead over a decade ago.
-
I agree tbh. They should have asked me. My post history is clean.

It's not really a new take though. Muse tried to do dubstep a few years after it got big, and this time they wanted to do the synthwave thing a few years after it got big. It's been the main complaint from many of us for a while now.

C'mon, TDS is probably one the best "Musest" songs made by them in recent times.
It has melodies and progressions that hark back to their Showbiz/OOS days without sounding like a tired rehash or shameless fan-service, but giving a new twist to their traditional sound.
Which isn't quite the case with Blockades, IMO. It's a good song that tries to follow the aforementioned philosophy of TDS, but to me it ends up being a bit "by-the-numbers", like a Muse song that tries too hard to be such.
Recent days don't compare to OoS or Abso though (overall).
It's interesting how Blockades is seen as fanservice but The Dark Side isn't, even though The Dark Side was basically compared to every single Muse song that people loved. Even Matt admitted that it was pretty much created out of earlier Muse songs.
-
Pressure, hah.
But nah wouldn't say The Dark Side comes close either.
-
I would question how an album where only 3 songs got an actual 10/10 (ST) could get a 10/10 overall, but I guess it's not ranked like that?
-
While it may be bass, the fact that Chris does it live doesn't really have to mean much.

Impressive to have ST as your favourite a month after release but already knowing its much lower position in the all-one list

Ah Monday night was so so good! It was the first time I was at the front. Did anyone film Uprising? I'd really like to see that again.

Or we're in the front and don't get to see the back crowd.
Fair excuse.

Was just gonna link that
Here's another one:

People who think the crowds go crazy for heavy rarities must not have seen very much of the past few tours.
-
Yeah I wouldn't mind that much if they actually played the songs they wanna play but during the Drones tour it became clear Muse actually wanted to play songs like Reapers, but didn't enjoy the audience reaction so they became more hesitant to do so.
-
And I get why Muse won't do it but it still angers me that they won't just say "fuck it" and play the songs they wanna play until the crowd that is literally only there to hear 2 songs takes the hint and fucks off.
If they wanna play the biggest venues in the world by catering to the people who will start a phone conversation if a non-single is played, then they can't really complain about people's reactions.
Or, like I said in a more elaborate way in this old post:
Because that brings me back to what I said last page or something, which is that they're simply choosing the wrong singles. Sure Madness, Undisclosed Desires, Mercy etc are a shortcut to stadium gigs. But if what Muse really wanna do is play the rock stuff, then they gotta promote that side of themselves. (Just to bring you up to speed, last tour Matt complained that the audience didn't know their songs so they were forced to play singles).
This is why I think the problem isn't just about "changing" as a band and growing older, because songs like The Handler, Psycho, Reapers, Supremacy, Animals, Liquid State etc aren't that different from their older stuff. The problem is that Muse are promoting themselves as a pop group, then they get disappointed when these new fans of Madness and Follow Me aren't reacting well to Stockholm Syndrome and New Born. Like...you can't have both. Either you (Muse) stand for being a pop group and just play the hits for as many years as you can, or you stop catering to people you don't enjoy playing for.
