  1. That is mad sexy. Yours legitimately looks like it has an aluminum top in the first picture.
  2. Thank you very much! I really don't understand how Bellamy can sing that part with all of his might and still have enough air left in him to keep on singing. That part exhausts me. No I was just played because I felt like it.
  3. How do you do it? Well... (by well i mean, good) Falsetto's pretty easy for me. Only difficulty I have is singing consonant sounds in falsetto. EDIT: New cover.
  4. Nice drumming man! Sounds good. Well, the sound quality isn't that good, but... sounds good! Was planning on just uploading the whole thing to my facebook to, but no one seems to give a crap about my covers on facebook. Most likely because I've saturated their news feeds with less than... pleasing covers haha. Please listen to with good headphones! EDIT: The falsetto is a bit too loud because I didn't compensate the levels for the "lack of music"
  5. Not too sure about the shape of that pad there... but hey, whatever floats your boat. Howd you do that though? Oh and your floor made me think that you had a square neck for a second there Nice guitar, how much did it cost you to put that together? And how does it play? You talkin to ME? Mine was $217 including shipping. I think I got the Vintage Modern. The only "extra" options I got were the stainless steel frets (which I highly recommend) and a compound radius, though I'm not sure if they charge extra for that. No finish on it either so I saved money there. The Bass Pi is my friend's but he can't play because being korean means your parents house arrest you and only let you study for the SAT's to become a doctor. Guitar > Fuzz Factory > GFS Tuner > Digitech RP500 > NY Big Muff > Bass (Russian) Muff > Carbon Copy > Peavey Classic 30. I don't use the Phase 90 cuz it sucks major tone and I need another cable to put the CC in the FX loop. I have enough other cables but I don't use them because pretty crappy and ruin my tone and pick up lots of noise.

  7. Got it a couple days ago. Distorted sounds are noticeably artificial by itself, but you don't really notice it when playing in a band setting. Pretty nifty and lots of convenient features.
  8. Thanks. It actually started out as an Xaviere XV-600 from the GFS site. I bought a Warmoth neck for it after I screwed up the original neck trying to level it. Other mods include adding a killswitch, changing the bridge p90 to a GFS Power Rail humbucker (it gets the job done), and adding a mini 3-way switch for parallel/series switching (doesn't work anymore due to my epic soldering skills )... Warmoth neck specks: Maple/Rosewood (plain maple, sorry) SS 6100 frets (i actually ordered 6105, but i couldn't be bothered to send it back and wait again) 10-16 compound radius Boatneck profile (1" all the way down ) I also sanded down the original glossy finish to a "tolerable" matte finish. Indeed it is, but my camera is currently out of commission, sorriez Shame though, I live in an apartment building (seperate houses, but w/ a shared wall) and my windows are single pane, so I never have a chance to crank it up past 3
  9. I am here to redeem myself with pictures. Here's my gear (after 3 years i still dont understand how to put spoilers) [Note: Custom smiley graphics added onto FF for extra toanz]
  10. Woah woah woah woah woah. I don't understand how making an objective claim about a certain race's skin color is at all racist. ???? I mean Ethiopian people have dark skin, which people refer to as brown--black no? I don't see anything bad about saying that, "American's are white," "asian's are yellow," "aliens are green," That's all I'm gonna say. I didn't mean to start any drama or anything. Feel free to correct me. On a more positive note. I was pretty confused at first cuz I kept clicking "first unread post," and it would just stay on the first page.
  11. What you wanna do if thats the case is put a small hard object such as a small screw inside the anchor. Then you're going to screw in the stud and once the stud runs into the small object the stud will want to screw into the anchor more but since the small object is not allowing that, the force will build up and result in your anchor being pushed out as you screw in the stud. Go slow. And if you want to make sure the finish won't chip (assuming there is finish "wrapping" around the anchor for some reason), you can score it around the anchor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsZ9zBX2eDU
  12. Anyone notice the resemblance between Guiding Light and Those Were the Days of Our Lives by Queen? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOJPvxgkvn8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGLtufyEMFU
  13. BUMP! Because this thread is very useful and there are a lot of newbzors. For anyone with a Digitech RP Diezel toanz http://www.digitech.com/soundcomm/guitar_view_patch.asp?productid=255&patch_id=14256 (You can go look online for a RP file converter if you don't have a RP255)

    Doms Drums

The snares and the resonant head of my snare broke so, it sounds like a tom. Leaving me with 3 toms! But really I have a 12 inch tom and a 16 inch floor tom and it's still plenty of fun playing USoE Aughh, my kit is so crappy, its taken so much abuse over the years. I have a bunch of mismatching hardware. Snare, 12 tom, and bass are missing resonant heads. Bass drum "leg" mounts are broken(the wood). Im missing a bunch of screws for the hoops. Still plenty of fun to play! Would like a snare WITH snares though

My favorite kits of his are the one he used in The Astoria, the silver kit from Abso, and his acrylic kit hahaha.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHYUNPY-JPE in this vid its the 1st one. I know how to play it on the D string, I just dont know what chord he goes maniac on
  17. Anyone mind posting the tab for the 2nd riff during the outro for SS? I would work it out, if I knew anything about music theory.
  18. I find that when I come across Muse tabs on GP, I always have to switch Matt to a soprano sax
  19. On Ultimate Guitar there used to be a link to download guitar pro 4. Now all they have is the demo of the 5th version. U can go snoopin around on google for the 4th version. You can't open some the files made on the 5th version though
  20. Damn you! I made an earthquake thread first, but youre is more fun :(
