    It's great that the band focused on all the right influences on this album: RATM, Queen, and Pink Floyd. Can't fault them for experimenting with other styles in T2L but to me these are the sounds which have always worked best for them. I really like The Handler: it's classic RATM-inspired and dark brooding Muse, sounding like it was pulled straight from Absolution. The only tracks I dislike are Mercy (not into that soft rock/cookie-cutter vibe) and Drones (worst album closer ever?) OoS = Absolution = BHaR > TR > Drones > T2L = Showbiz

    Meh that one is more trashy sexy.. but if that's your cup of tea I won't hold it against you.

    I stand corrected! Verse always gets me all hot and bothered. Although I reckon Darkshines is more romantic and mysterious sexy, while TIRO and this new one's got that naughty morbidity vibe going on.

    I kinda like it but not really.. I thought it started off pretty cool w/ this stripped back edgy sound, pretty catchy vocal melodies & delivery, and some clever lines actually. And then comes the climax.. bland guitar and cliche lyrics. Just kills the song for me. Might be a grower!

    Chorus of that Reapers song got some nice feel-good vibe to it. Perfect for cruising through the countryside! This is turning out to be one groovy album.

    Who's willing to bet that voice loop at the end will morph into some siren-like thing that transitions to the next track.

    Well initially I was gonna say 10 = Ruled by Secrecy and 7 = I Belong to You and that this song would probably be as good as IBTY... but now it's looking RBS-level !!!

    Haven't been here in a while! I'm sure this album will be good. Honestly don't really care much for consistency/flow anymore, as long as it's got like two or three outstanding tracks, that'll probably do it for me. Playlists ftw. Not a fan of the album cover though. It's definitely lacking the iconic power and abstractness (not to mention prettiness) of all the previous ones. I hope the upcoming song kicks off with that riff in isolation like how the band plays it live. That would sound pretty badass immediately following an interlude.
