  1. Nothing sounds cringey here my friend. Embrace the feels.
  2. Couldn't track down a thread for this, so thought I'd ask. Are there any moments from the band that make any of you Muse fans particularly emotional? For me, I was very moved by the Exogenesis Part 3: Redemption music video, so I can't even listen to it any more without experiencing a little emotion. I also love the end of Knights of Cydonia at Reading 2011 - something about the climax of the song that looks all triumphant and it reminds me of every single time I've seen them play it live, so I feel the feels.
  3. Not a great song in my opinion. Verses are good, chorus is crap. People, if you want a good Enter Shikari song check out Destabilise, or Arguing With Thermometers if you like the quirkier side. EDIT: As a graduate of Aberystwyth University, I can confirm this. I'm not a fan of Reynolds' whinging. Ruins the band for me at times.
  4. First thing that came to my mind when I heard Psycho was System Of A Down too. Could be a great song title. It's dark and screams aggression. Then again, so did Madness...
  5. This. We pretty much knew it'd be released in May. All I really care about now is a tracklist, or a song snippet, or some more tour dates, or album artwork.
  6. Earls Court had a lot of brilliant performances of songs. I think Citizen Erased is up there from night two, as is The Small Print and Stockholm Syndrome. Dead Star from night one sounded great too.
  7. I don't think R&L and Download usually share headliners in the same year - you can pretty much count Muse out of that one. But yeah, the rumours suggest either The Libertines, Mumford and Sons or Linkin Park will be announced tonight. If those are the three headliners then it is arguably the worst headliners R&L have ever had (even though I like Linkin Park).
  8. Download will only show pro-shots of a few songs, as Sky Arts do their highlights. Chances are they won't be available until about three weeks after the event anyway. Hopefully if they do Glasto we can get a whole set's worth again. Anyone know what Pinkpop/Rock Werchter are like for pro-shots?
  9. Fair enough. I've never actually been to Download so it was more of a sarcastic comment anyway. I seem to remember reading that My Chemical Romance had a few missiles sent their way in 2007 when they headlined. I don't think Muse will have anything thrown at them though - they're not that badly hated. The reaction has been mostly positive from what I've seen anyway.
  10. They headlined in 2009 and 2013, so it seems a bit too soon to have them again. If the recent leak is true, it looks like Muse will be announced as the Saturday headliners tomorrow at 8am (UK time).
  11. Some would say that, but they can definitely hold their own against a metal crowd... as long as they play the right songs. I personally think this would be a good opportunity to shut some people up who think they will either get bottled or think they aren't METULZ \m/ enough.
  12. Rumour around at the moment is: FRI Slipknot Judas Priest Five Finger Death Punch SAT Muse Faith No More A Day To Remember SUN Kiss Motley Crue Slash Enter Shikari, Lamb of God and Marilyn Manson supposed to be somewhere around there too but no idea what day.
