    :LOL: that was actually my first thought... :p i was half expecting a discussion on how HAWT edward is... but then he said he hadn't yet read the book...

     

    That, plus he was kinda dorky and she was cute, led my thoughts to go from gay to poser ;)

    i was in a store last night and the girl in front of me (probably late teens or so) was buying a twilight board game :erm:The cashier (a guy, probably also late teens) said something like "oh, isn't twilight great! Can't wait for november!", she was confused at first then remembered the new movie coming out. Then she asked him how he liked the books, and he said he'd only just started reading the first one.

     

    I think he was lying and was just trying to use it as an excuse to chat her up :p

    Oh no, an author who is a Muse fan had Muse song in a movie about her book.

     

    Trust me I tried to read Twilight and hated it lol but theres no point moaning that a song has been ruined just because its in a movie. Get over it.

    At the MTV Video Awards, Twilight won some award, and while the actors were going up, part of Knights of Cydonia was playing.

     

    Ahh, I see....well I remember when they won the last award that new Paramore song was playing, so can't say I'm not surprised a Muse song was used for a different award. A bit odd that it was Knights though imo

    At the Louisiana Jr. Beta Convention this morning. supermassive started to play and every single member of my club turned to me and shouted "hey! Its that band you like, muse!"

    Im i guy so this is gonna sound fucking weird- In gossip girl- they are all talking at this party in the first season and in the background you can hear a violin style "time is running out" preeeety ballin heres the link

    yeah and they do pointlessly painful things like drop their balls over a snooker pocket. you can guess what happens next

     

    Ugh....I don't know how Jackass was even able to make 2 movies. Seeing some of the stuff they do like giving each other paper cuts in the crease of their mouths and in between their fingers and toes makes me feel sick not entertained!

    ZOMG I keep hearing Muse lately! I walked into a Vans store today and I hear the intro to which song??............ DARKSHINES!!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek::D :D

     

    I was alone so I couldn't shout out 'ZOMG WTF DARKSHINES AHH MUSE AHHRRGH ONE !!!!"11111!!!!!' (althought I did in my head lol) Instead I just smiled, lightly moshed and sang along haha.

     

    I anticipated that they might have been playing the whole of OoS, which they were as FG came next and then Megalomania :happy:! I was sad to have missed the rest of the album but it was awesome anyways... I don't think I've ever heard someone mention that the whole of OoS has been played somewhere!

     

    Anyways, that was pretty much the highlight of my day lol... that and buying Vans from that shop for only £2.50! (no joke!) :pimp: Awesome!!

We'd never get a store over here that would play an entire Muse album, much less a couple of tracks of theres:rolleyes: HOWEVER, I used to work at Journey's (that punk-ish shoe store) and we had monthly DVD's sent to us to play continuously while the store was open, and this summer we had Muse's live performance of MotP at Wembley on the DVD:D it was the best month of work EVAR...especially because I got to hear the head-banging Maggie's Farm outro riff YEAAAAAAAH:\mm/:

    "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You", "Host", "Please, Please, Please", "Nishe"

     

    Ya know. All those not so common Muse songs that nobody ever pays much attention to.

     

    I just like watching the live performance of "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" on youtube because you can tell how excited Dom is to be able to actually sing/speak in a song. Just like a little kid on Christmas...oooh irony!!

    omg isn't that the best? I live in Texas and they never EVER play Muse in public places. Everytime they do I squeel in delight. :D

     

    I heard Starlight on the RADIO one time!!!

     

    Yes, no matter what kind of day I'm having if I ever heard Muse playing randomly and unexpectedly it makes my mood lighten up so much:happy:

    I was in a local sandwich restaurant for dinner with some friends and was having a terrible day..I was hungover, our football team got raped for the last game of the season, and I was getting annoyed at my guy friends being immature and trying to hit on girls with me and my other girl friends right there (pet peeve!) BUT, then I heard the bass riff to Hysteria come on the radio and I was like...WHAT?! :D And that made all my past bitchiness go away and I yelled: "This is my favorite band! and my favorite song!" And they all looked at me weird, but I didn't care. That's the first time I've heard Muse in Minnesota at a public place and it made my day. It was bitchin
