This whole making a top 10 list got me thinking about Muse. I haven't seen a band so versatile in the amount of style they can pull off(rock, pop, Spanish, classical, ballads, punk, alt-rock) all with aplomb. The only other bands that come to mind in terms of versatility were The Beatles and Queen. If anyone listens to the Queen album "Sheer Heart Attack", that defines versatility and something Muse should strive for and probably came close on BH&R.

Since I'm a relatively new fan, it's not an issue of "rediscovering" for me. I bought all the albums and single recently and downloaded a bunch of un-purchasable B-sides from Youtube using the FLV->MP3 tool. So I have about 80 Muse songs to enjoy now.

It really is important to force oneself to listen to the songs that they didn't "click" with right away. Probably a lot of gems there to be discovered. The same thing happened for me with Queen II.
