I was there from mid- to late-January. When I went to Australia in 2005, Brisbane were going through the worst draught they'd ever had or some shit... Anyway, while we were over there it poured down for the first time in forever of course. I am the harbinger of terrible weather.

No fair I was there for two weeks and RAIN MOST OF THE TIME. I also remember being devastated that my train pass wouldn't work because I got chocolate on it. I did go to circular quay, that's when I got chocolate on my pass. Fucking gelato.

Not as bad as when I was in Melbourne! Summer there this year was absolute crap, Melbourne was mid-30s though I know Sydney itself has way more shops than where I was, but it was really crap the whole time so I only went into the city once

There is more, but I didn't really bother looking around the township. I got into Sydney really late when I flew over so I didn't really have time to stop and admire, and when I went to the IGA the next day it was so fucking hot I just wanted to go back to the aircon then it was miserable for the rest of the trip

All they've got is some chicken place. oh, and a fucking flash arse bakery. Like, $5 for a fucking croissant. I walked in there with stuff from an IGA once and felt so fucking tacky

Oh, did you want me to be more specific than north Sydney? they live in Wahroonga which is in the northern suburbs but there's some specific area they're in. Anyway, it's snobby and expensive.

I'd be moving in with my aunty and uncle so I know it's nice they live in a reeeeeeally snobby area. I think there's about three private schools within very close proximity of each other...

Oh I know exactly where I'd be moving to, I'll be in north Sydney. It's about a 20 minute train from where I'd be to the middle of the city I do believe.

It's both good and sucky. Nothing's set in stone yet but it'd probably be late July.
