Absolutely gutted I couldn't get tickets. Was there refreshing from 8:50AM and by the time i'd completed the stupid google captcha of drawing round bloody road signs everything had gone :'(
Then had to start work and missed the R+L link!
Really hoping Friday isn't as much of a mess!!!

Are they playing these songs fast to fit more in? It sounds like Resistance is being played at warp speed! Or is it just that long since I actually listened to resistance that I've forgotten the actual pace of the song?

I still love this song. But I also love Big Freeze and Undisclosed Desires. 🙌
I particularly love the bits others seem to hate about it. The Depeche Mode, the "DEAD INSIDE!", the million drones. It's all good!
Same here, I love the 80s sound to it!
I hope this is the only song with this style on the album though - purely cos were due a nice pure rock album from the guys now
But I've said it before, I think it works amazingly as the album opener, lure them in with this relaxed dancey beat then hit them with a massive wall of rock! ;D

well that doesn't sound like muse at all but still like it. it sounds like depeche mode or duran duran well something from the 80
80's is amazing, so Muse 80's is just awesome!

I see that the DVD in the CD/DVD Drones release will have "live performances of new songs from 'Drones' filmed during the Psycho UK Tour"... if that's the case, we're basically obliged to shout the words to Psycho as loud as possible and generally go a bit crazy, so they use the footage from our gig, right? Right?
I'm down for this!
edit: Gotta ask the question, when are you peeps gonna start queuing from? What do you think would be a sensible time for getting to the front?

Guys, i'd really appreciate any help here as i'm totally lost as to what to do.. my problem is:
When i received the email regarding the tour and presale I was away from any sort of computer, so I contacted my mum and asked her to get my presale password and order me 2 tickets for the glasgow show, which she has done. However cos of this she's used her credit card.. and now i've learnt that its paperless tickets i'm pretty much stuffed arent I? I can't transfer the card on the booking and they said it's also not acceptable if I take my mums credit card and ID, she HAS to be there (which she physically can't be).
Anyone had a similar issue or any advice or anything??

Got my tickets yesterday woo! Booked the hotel today, cannot wait!
I still can't wrap my head around the fact that on MONDAY ill be seeing muse in this sort of venue, just wow!

I can't imagine that's how it usually goes? Is it?
I may be wrong but I think with The Resistance as soon as pre order was available on iTunes they had the 30 second song previews available for every track.. I could be wrong though?

My hypothesis is they'll play a different new song (or even an old song) then drop the single afterwards because everyone would be buzzing about Muse's performance.
This is the most sensible idea yet.

Exactly! one of my friends swapped from apple to ... android.. (an S4) and one week later was like "right, its crashed about 20 times this week, get me my iphone back."
I had to set one up for one of the guys at work, I unboxed it, and within 45 minutes it crashed and reset all data. #reallyofftopicnow
But yes, I think it could happen, I suppose we can only wait and see!

#offtopicAnyway, there wouldn't any kind of official announcement from either Apple or Muse until after the event, it's how they 'roll'

I think we will be seeing muse perform at the Apple Event, it just fits.
1) The rehearsals pointing towards a live performance
2) Matt meeting Jimmy I from Apple
3) The drone photo being posted 06 days and 15 hours (ish) from the start of the event (ok this is possibly a long shot)
4) Look at the past performances at the end of Apple events, foo fighters, coldplay, U2... Muse would fit in well there.
5) Apple have always showed interest in Muse, they have used The Resistance album cover in numerous old iphone/ipod adverts etc.
Maybe I'm just being optimistic because Apple and Muse are my two favourite things and this would honestly make my year.
