    As it happens YOU were involved when I got my last warning in 2012.

     

    Lol alright man that's cool. I'm just defending myself because people are acting like I'm an idiot for thinking it isn't that hard to plan ahead for something like this when you live a drivable distance away and we know about it months in advance. All the signs pointed to this being a good setlist. Most of us saw this coming. I guess the UK fans are spoiled a bit also lol. We would kill to have the opportunity to drive to a setlist like this in America.

     

    I just think that it was a statement that maybe could have had a bit more thought put into it, as the other reactions would suggest. I live in NI so I've got the Irish Sea to cross on my way there, haha. I did consider going last week however at such a late point it would have been too expensive. In terms of the set, I'm not bothered as the only song on it I'm yet to see is The Handler.

    Stunningly, there are other events in peoples' lives which are more important than going to a music festival.

     

    people have mentioned a few good 'excuses' and there are tons more. people don't live for muse gigs, you know

     

    Some people have things to do besides scheduling their lives around a band's tour.

    If I'd said 'stfu' would I have still got a warning? Not questioning a mods decision, obv. I'm cool with that yellow card.

    It'd be so funny though.

     

    It would be amazing. I kind of want it to happen but don't at the same time given I've got friends there.

     

    People keep talking about being bottled/booed but the reaction will be worse here than at Download to a standard Muse set, no question

     

    Indeed. Can't see them being bottled though.

    It was at least an hour/hour and a half before things started running smoothly at Glasto given the storm took over half an hour to move on. The rain was biblical. It wasn't actually a powercut that caused the shut down, lightning hit the top of the pyramid stage and the whole lot was stopped from a health and safety point of view.

    As a result the other acts were on late and their slots were cut.

    I said it before either on here or reddit and got flamed for it but I predicted that matt wouldn't perform the doodoodoo part live in this song because of difficulty; I think he did it once at the end for obligatory reasons but I'm not surprised he avoided it earlier in the song

     

    That's a real shame too because it's one of my fave parts of the entire song. It's the bit that's always stuck in my head. I think he'll bail on it most of the time, it sounded pretty weak in the soundcheck.

     

    Honest question, what Muse song, of ALL of them, is actually terrible live? Subpar, sure... but I don't think I've ever heard them perform a terrible song.

     

    Guiding Light, Explorers, UD, Save Me.
