  1. 1. Guiding Light is good.

    2. Feeling Good is awesome live.

    3. Starlight is actually really good live as well.

    4. Exo Politics is awesome.

    5. IBTY is awesome. The french part is also the highlight of the song.

    6. NSC, from the clips, has the potential to be brilliant.

    7. Screenager and Darkshines are awesome and underrated.

    8. Showbiz is easily the worst album.

    9. The Resistance is as good as OoS and Absolution. Easily

    1. Not really but it's not their worst song.

    2. No.

    3. Yes (especially when you are seeing it live in person).

    4. It's not awesome but good.

    5. Yes. But the part right after the french lyrics is the highlight.

    6. I'm resisting listening to the 30 sec clip so I don't know. (I won't listen to any 30 sec clip song previews because it's not the same as hearing it in full and you can't judge a song from a random short clip.)

    7. Yes

    8. Yes (but it's still a good album)

    9. No.

    :)

  2. Here are some things I have noticed since I've been to 3 shows (Patriot Center VA, was at barrier on Chris' side, 1st Mariner Arena MD, was at barrier on Matt's side and Madison Square Garden NY, had seats in 300's) this month.

In VA & MD, once we were let in and we got to our spots up front, we were told to sit down on the floor. I don't know if it's like that everywhere.

I didn't take a bag or purse into the pit. I found some cargo pants with some very deep pockets, I had my phone in one and camera in other. I took the tip I read on here about putting my car key and money in my bra and it worked very well, I didn't have to worry about losing anything. :chuckle:

As we were let in in VA, I held my camera and phone in my hand and the security only had to glance at it.

The pit in VA was extremely tame where I was. The people around me barely moved.

The pit in MD was more energetic. By the end of that one, I was pressed right up against the barrier and I did feel a few small crowd surges but nothing too crazy. There were many crowd surfers at that one so in between looking at Muse on stage, and jumping and stuff, I was keeping an eye on the security because when they would point, it meant they spotted a crowd surfer coming up. The security also offered us water here. (They didn't do that in VA.) Also if you're at barrier and try to take pics, you might have someone try to push their way into your spot when you raise your arm to take a pic.

My friend and I had a guy fall on us from the seats above us at MSG during KoC, not good at the time but it's funny now. Who knew, the seats were rough.:p We also had some people sitting below us who smoked a lot of weed during the whole show.

  3. Where were you on the barrier? Maybe I saw you.

    Here's my experience for GA.

For the Fairfax gig, at first I got second row when we first got in the pit. I noticed some room in between some people and figured it would be possible to squeeze up to the barrier without knocking anyone off. (I was one of the people that lined up for hours anyway)

Everyone stood up and I got my wish  Once Muse started I expected it to get really rough..but I honestly had so much room. Didn't get any bruises at all (except for my forearms from leaning on the barrier).

For the Baltimore gig same thing happened (second row, but got barrier). And I didn't have as much room as before which is what I expected. Still had room to jump though. But near the end of the show the crowd was soooo intense and awesome and there were tons of crowd surfers so I got packed on the barrier. It was a fantastic time though. I'm definitely loving GA and plan on getting it to as many more Muse concerts I can go to!

Edit: My neck is in pain though from head banging so much and my arms from punching the air and such. It's good though. Shows I was so into it :awesome: The security guard in front of me actually told me to calm down  Of course I didn't listen. He was probably kidding anyway for he had a sense of humour beforehand.

Haha I have some 'barrier bruises' on my arms to from the Baltimore show. :awesome:

I heard Hardcoremidget yell "I love you Dom!" and the security guy said something to him too.

I loved the GA Muse experience and will definately do that again when/if I get to see them again.

  4. Yesterday I heard Resistance for the first time on radio on DC101.

I also heard Uprising played in JC Penneys. It was the album version. I'm sure it was the first time many people in that store ever heard a Muse song.

Today I was in Kohl's and I heard MoTP.

    :awesome:

  5. Just today Uprising was played on the commercial for the tv show V, Knights of Cydonia was played over the speakers in the bowling alley, Uprising was on the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown (it's #8), and Resistance was played on the Breeders Cup on ESPN. (I ran in from the other room when I heard that one.)

That's a lot of Muse songs heard somewhere in one day in the US.

  6. Short clips of SMBH, Starlight and Hysteria (the first time I ever heard that on the radio) on local station 104.3. It was the commercial for the contest that they are running. If you pre-order The Resistance, you are entered in the contest to win tickets to see the Muse VMA gig.

About 15 minutes before that, they played SMBH.

  7. Supermassive Black Hole on 104.3 FM.

Edit: My friend heard this when I was in the car with her and she is a SMBH Virgin and has never heard it before .

Anyway, she compared it to David Bowie and liked it.
