  1. Yep! I got tix during the pre-sale. :)

  2. And people thought Invincible was cheesy back then? Not knowing what a *real* cheesy Muse song was yet. haha
  3. Hey there! Thanks for being an :awesome: moderator for the Elimination Threads! That must have been a difficult (but fun) job!

Let's hope the mods let you open one when the new album comes out. :D

  4. Yey 180 members of this board agree! Oh and it should've been named 'Very Pwoud Fans of Invincible.' Lol
  5. 1. Not really but it's not their worst song. 2. No. 3. Yes (especially when you are seeing it live in person). 4. It's not awesome but good. 5. Yes. But the part right after the french lyrics is the highlight. 6. I'm resisting listening to the 30 sec clip so I don't know. (I won't listen to any 30 sec clip song previews because it's not the same as hearing it in full and you can't judge a song from a random short clip.) 7. Yes 8. Yes (but it's still a good album) 9. No.
  6. Haha. I miss them soo much. I first saw them open for MCR in '07 (and was hooked!! lol) and then when they opened for U2 in '09 but March 1 in Virginia was the 1st headlining show I've seen. :D And then I got to see them in Maryland on March 3 and New York on March 5.

When is it that you will see them?

  7. Here are some things I have noticed since I've been to 3 shows (Patriot Center VA, was at barrier on Chris' side, 1st Mariner Arena MD, was at barrier on Matt's side and Madison Square Garden NY, had seats in 300's) this month. In VA & MD, once we were let in and we got to our spots up front, we were told to sit down on the floor. I don't know if it's like that everywhere. I didn't take a bag or purse into the pit. I found some cargo pants with some very deep pockets, I had my phone in one and camera in other. I took the tip I read on here about putting my car key and money in my bra and it worked very well, I didn't have to worry about losing anything. As we were let in in VA, I held my camera and phone in my hand and the security only had to glance at it. The pit in VA was extremely tame where I was. The people around me barely moved. The pit in MD was more energetic. By the end of that one, I was pressed right up against the barrier and I did feel a few small crowd surges but nothing too crazy. There were many crowd surfers at that one so in between looking at Muse on stage, and jumping and stuff, I was keeping an eye on the security because when they would point, it meant they spotted a crowd surfer coming up. The security also offered us water here. (They didn't do that in VA.) Also if you're at barrier and try to take pics, you might have someone try to push their way into your spot when you raise your arm to take a pic. My friend and I had a guy fall on us from the seats above us at MSG during KoC, not good at the time but it's funny now. Who knew, the seats were rough. We also had some people sitting below us who smoked a lot of weed during the whole show.
  8. What was I thinking asking that question? lol

You actually could name your favorites though. :chuckle:

Plug In Baby was awesome. I also think USoE, Unnatural Selection and Time Is Running Out and...and...well just about everything else were my favorites. :D

  9. That's cool you were able to have a good view :). Being in GA was awesome, much better than seats. I got there pretty early in the morning and was 3rd in line, behind 2 other boardies. When they let us in, it was just this awesome feeling and it's kind of a blur now but I walked in and got to the barrier on Matt's side. :awesome:

I agree, the crowd was great. The amount of crowd surfers that passed by me was crazy lol.

What was your favorite song they did that night?

  10. Hi. :) I read in a thread that you were at the Baltimore gig too. Were you in the GA line?

  11. True...you can't view everything and you can't multi-quote, which is annoying..But at least it is easy to text with the Sidekick. Do you have a Sidekick too?

  12. I wish I had a Muse tattoo...but that was just written with a sharpie. :)

I just have a Sidekick Slide.

  13. Haha I have some 'barrier bruises' on my arms to from the Baltimore show. I heard Hardcoremidget yell "I love you Dom!" and the security guy said something to him too. I loved the GA Muse experience and will definately do that again when/if I get to see them again.
  14. Hi. That is cool that Muse is going to be your first rock concert. :)

I'm not actually from Virginia and I'll be doing some travelling by car to get to the Fairfax show.

So I really don't know the answer to your question. But the best thing for me to tell you is to check out the website http://www.patriotcenter.com for information regarding transportation, etc.

Also I'm sure if you'd make a post in the Patriot Center thread, there will be some locals who could probably answer your question better. :)

  15. We can keep in touch using our Twitter names before, during and after the gig. (I saw this idea in the Atlanta thread. ) Anyone who likes the idea, can post their Twitter names here.
  16. Yes it'll be cool to meet in NY :).

My friend and I want to find out if possible if there will be any Muse afterparty after the show too.

We haven't reserved a hotel yet though, I hope it won't be too late to find somewhere close to stay. March 5th is coming quick!

  17. Yep. March 1,3 & 5. I can't wait! :D Do you think they'll sell stickers there?

  18. :( Facebook sucks. I guess I'll try to fix it.
