  1. Muse have revealed that they are around halfway finished writing their next album, and that it will feature collaborations with an orchestra.

Frontman Matt Bellamy joked to BBC 6music that the follow-up to 2006's 'Black Holes And Revelations' would be suitable for classical music radio station Classic FM, then said that he expected to band to be on tour during the tail end of 2009.

*hopefully, MALAYSIA would be in their shortlist..

"A symphonic album has turned up here," he said, "like a full collaboration with an orchestra. There's definitely a few things on the album which are segueing into each other and it's all very orchestral, but that could take over the album, so it could actually be kind of classical act basically, and move away from rock all together.

"We'll be knocking on Classic FM's door, you know?"

Speaking about the band's schedule he added: "I'd say we're about halfway there [writing the album]. Probably autumn time or something like that I should think we'll be back on the road."

    Finally

Yes yes, I know its been about six years since I last posted but you know, time flies when you're having fun. Look, I've been busy alright..! Ok, I have no excuse.. Just slack.

We have been working pretty hard though on the album and its actually now starting to take shape. Matt is doing vocals on some tracks as we speak which normally means they're nearly finished. We've probably got two more to record from scratch then we might be almost looking at a complete album. Then strings, synth sparkles, llamas toenails, gongs and anything else we can think of that will help us perceive they are finished. The hardest bit is finishing.

    It sounds fucking great though..

Im very looking forward to getting out there and playing this live. Im pretty sure we'll be out playing shortly after the summer. Plans are coming together..

    See you soon,

    Dom.

Lol.... I thought that blog is gonna diw. Nice to hear some updates from them :D

Wow.... Haven't been here for more than a week already. I miss out so much :'(

Awww........ I'm so sorry for the late reply to you Faz... That day I was really busy with ton of work to do T...T Sigh.... I wonder will it ever finish =.=

Looks like I miss out on a lot of gigs.... O.O Sunburst, the battles, Coldplay(which seems to be the big hype). Hmmmm.... but at east knowing all these bands coming here to perform means there are future in all te gigs, live concerts in Malaysia in the near future :D:D:D

  2. Lol.... And I been thinking which picture I posted up. The Muse one or the one in my siggy. Hehe.... That picture is cute. That's why I posted it up. =D

Joelyn: Such a shame you can't join us for the Muser lunch!

Yeah, such a shame I can't meet up with you guys for a lunch. I heard it was great fun. LOL. With Faz and going around PJ and stuff. Too bad I have to work T..............T

Joelyn, should we go to Putrajaya one day and just go Dom-sight-seeking? Lol he might still be around hahaha! I know.. the muser meet up that you guys will be having... Here's a plan... eat ramly burger, head to putrajaya for some delicious ice cream waffles at Alamanda and chill+chat :]

Awww....... That sounds exactly fun. We should do that one day and take a break from my stressful work. You know the stuff you talk about working stress is almost like what happen in Wanted, I happening to me so frequently these days that I honestly starting to wonder should I quit the job or not. And to make matters worse, I don't hve any close friend I could confide to in my working place so it bottling up and some of the people there isn't making it any better. Sigh...

Yeah, I know people these days will say you got a job to do, very good liao oo. and that kind of stuff. but I dunno how long I'm gonna last if it keeps on going like that..... :(

  3.

2 minutes. That's all it takes to patch a call through that would shelve away your hopes and aspirations. Arrange them neatly in boxes at that corner too, perhaps. Alright, perhaps not so dramatic in that sense. But today, I talked to the managing editor of Junk magazine to turn down her offer of working as an intern with them. Why then in the first place did I even run through all that hard work to get the job?!?! Let's just say that they were perhaps a whole month too late. It sucks that things did not work out and there's still a distinct lump in my throat ever since I made that call this morning.

Aida, your text shortly after I made that call was a perfect distraction of sorts and at least right now, I still have something lovely to look forward to (despite knowing the fact that omg if I did intern with JUNK I could have been able to run around to all those gigs and events!!!! Imagine getting access to Rachael Yamagata's gig ... or maybe even a chance to interview Kaiser Chiefs who would be coming down soon?) For that, I cannot be ever more grateful!! You totally rock!! Oh and just as a hint to anyone interested, right now would be the best time to apply for an internship at Junk! Trust me.

Hello 2nd year student of media communications technology! Lol. I lurk around the Singapore thread too ;]

I've totally put my stalking skills to shame! Didn't take a camera out fast enough huhuhu. I'm not even sure why he was in Putrajaya in the first place

Final item of the agenda... Muser meetup on Sunday March 22nd? Oh noes, I hope I won't be at Taiping for that weekend! I was planning on a getaway from KL over that weekend since Sunburst will be happening then and I could only be reminded of how close we were to listen to Yellow live. I would love to get away as far as possible please. Haha. =[ Well, we'll see how things turn out :]

Awww.... Don't be sad la. Sometimes you can't exactly get what you want but sometimes by not getting that, you can get something better

I lurk in Singapore thread..... once a month :ninja: Lol.... only when they seems to come a bit active around these days ^^

 But being able to spot him already meant that your skills are quite sharp. Just that I believe his ninja stealth skill is higher thus all this years avoiding screeching fans *rolleyes* HAHA!!! XP To have a short vacation with Matty in Malaysia,..... :erm: dunno... =P

Awww...... on 22 March cannot la T.....T Have to work :'( =(((((((((((((((((((((((((((

If it's on 29 March then can lo.... Sigh.... why do I always miss out on the meet out T.........................................T

Awwh its okay, dont feel bad. Yes it was really hot. They didnt turn on the air conditioning, they only used those giant fans that shoots out water mist to add to the humidity -_- i'm thankful that I was seated lor. Couldn't feel the heat that much, but it was still hot from the seats. I dont think I could've taken it from the standing area. even standing up to line up also i felt a bit nauseous. scary stuff.

But besides that, woohoo Jason was fun!his setlist was a bit short though. awwh its okay i hear David Archuletta is coming! haha. Maybe you could go see him?

YES good i'm glad someone else besides me feels sorry for her, even just a little bit. but she did sound a bit whiney. and she says 'like' too much!

About the outing to KL Central, I dont know whther I can make it! KL Central is a bit far for me and I am completely unfamilliar with that area. The only part of KL Central I've ever explored is the little bazaar place you walk across from the LRT station to the monorail station lol!

Lol.... Why are you feeling nauseous? Is it because you can't stand the heat or standing up too long makes you dizzy? Awww.... actually because of the 30% discount I did think of buying standing tickets for Muse but because alone and in a situation that I dunno how the fans will react, so cramp and have to stand for hours, I'm scared I couldn't take it. So I just settled for seating tickets with my brother :p But it's still near enough cause the stadiums isn't so huge XD

=O!!!!!!!!!! David Archuletta is coming!!!! I want to go if they do announce it =D But then, I only know 2 of his songs..... erm.... =P

Yeah, she did sound a bit whiney.....

Aww.... Don't worry. KL Central is actually quite a small place and you wont get lost! The place all is in round and round and unless you walk out of the building, you will not get lost and there is not much to explore over there honestly =P Just sit an lrt straight to kl sentral lo then meet up in front of McDonalds before deciding where to eat....

man, now am jealous! :( but yeah, Liz is bigger fan. this means that they'll be at KLCC on the 1st April, rite? i think i'll just go and menyibuk there la.. if u do win, Aida, u need to tell me where they are having lunch.

Nah.. you're not mad, coz if you are than i am too. i do share your passion for Dom ;)

yeah.. Mraz concert looked so fun. i heard that the crowd was very well behaved as well, no pushing and shoving going on unlike Muse. he's very funny as well eh?

OMG. is this true? Archie is coming? i am soooo going. ke tepi semua budak sekolah, mak cik Faz nak tengok Archie!! eheh..:$

 then we all can go menyibuk. Use the PM thou or else the whole malaysia will go there and menyibuk :p Hahahahahahhaha

Hehe.... when we do meet up again, I believe 50% of the conversation will be on DOm XP HEhe....

Lol.... Mak Cik Faz. Hehe.... It sounds so funny. Then I'll be closely folloeing your back cause you already cut out the way clear :D XP

  4. On the previous post, Debbie, you are so lucky you get to go to Jason Mraz concert! I wanted to go but too bad I didn't manage to get a leave on that day :( Was it really hot, in the stadium, like what it's describe in the newspaper. Cause I remember for Muse concert, the coolness is just right. Not too cold and not too hot :D

Sigh, I have a post-syndrome-of-not-being-able-to-go-for-a-concert syndrome. Did you take any pictures? Hehe.... Talking about burger in Stadium Negara always reminds me of what Nut said about the burger he bought from the pak cik. ekkk..... hehe

On the Miley Cyrus part, I believe the reason she is so outrage is because she already told all her friends she is gonna meet Radiohead and when they rejected her, she feel humiliated lo. Her friends will say she talk big la I guess. But as a real fan she must really be dissapointed. So I sort of feel kinda sorry for her and also feel like she's a bit spoiled.... :erm:

  5. i thought u posted a picture of Dom! haha.. did u catch what Dom said in the new vid that made Chris laughed? he was so cheeky

SGmuse - welcome, friendly neighbour! rumour has it that NIN is coming to Singapore in August. bloody jealous la with u guys.

 Nah. cause Liz sms me that day and told me that she saw a person who looks like Dom but it's only a glimsp and then he dissapear so she's not sure about it. But it would be so cool to see him if only a glimsp :p *I am mad. LOL*

Yeah, dom said in a very cool and theriatical voice, "1, 2, 3, 4" and made Chris giggle and after they calm down somewhat, dunno for what reason, Dom go and snif a giggle and made both of them laugh. Dom dom.... Lol

Hi SG Muse. Welcome aboard :D You look cute in your avatar picture

  6. I had the greatest surprise today. Well okay it's not that great of a surprise but...

I finally had the privilege to catch up on the movies I have missed since started working, so today I watched two movies, one being Seven Pounds and the other Watchmen! (Tomorrow, the Reader and Doubt perhaps?)

While we all know about the Watchmen trailer using Muse's song, what came as a surprise was that I did hear a Muse song in one of those movies today, and it wasn't Watchmen!! When the first piano echo-ey chord of Feeling Good came on in the middle of Seven Pounds, I actually gasped out loud in the very quiet cinema. As it became clear with Matt's distinct vocals, I became more and more animated. The movie wasn't exactly a gasp-y or happy movie to begin with but I got so excited hearing Muse! Definitely made the movie a lot .. well, cheerful since it's seriously a pretty depressing movie. Ok perhaps I'm a bit quick to judge because I can't see Will Smith apart from the mafia look, but let's just say I had a really bad case of running nose towards the end of the movie..

Watchmen. Oh my lovely "watch" men. Billy Crudup will always hold dear to me, whether he's an ass (literally ) or not. How kick ass (OK, I swear I didn't mean to use ass this often..) is the fact that Dr Manhattan is actually a watch man's son?! The sight of Mr Crudup holding a watch!:happy: Certainly made me feel like re-watching Tim Burton's Big Fish where he plays Ewan McGregor's son (in a way) :] I cannot wait til Billy Crudup shares the screen with Christian Bale, Johnny Depp and David Wenham in Public Enemies!!!

Anyway, regarding the movie ... Hey Joelyn, perhaps you could share your thoughts on this with us ;)

I love that Zack Snyder, the director, made a lot of fanboys happy on his take with this graphic novel. I hope he'll get to direct the 300 sequel movie that has been on the rumour mill as well!

Seven Pounds is playing Feeling Good?!!!:eek: Now I want to watch Seven Pounds.... on pirated DVD :p:LOL: I am so bad XP

I did watch Watchmen too. It's very deep and dark. Throughout a big part of the movie, I'm always >.o afraid of something scary might pop out like when that guy was searching for the little girl's body. I'm afaird they might show a chopped up body. Thank God nothing much have been shown.

and when the movie ended, it seems like no matter which way you turn, it seems to go back to point A. Like nothing much could be done about it

Lol.... HOw nice you get to see a glismp of Dom Xp Too bad you didn't manage to snap picture. Hehe...

  7. Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has suggested that the band use horses to improve their live shows.

The singer, who picked up the group's NME best live act gong on Wednesday, joked that using the animals is the only way for them to improve.

"Horses!" Bellamy told Teletext. "We should start arriving on stage on horseback. I'm feeling like being noble and valiant is the way forward, and how better to do that than on a horse?"

It was the third time Muse have won the best live act title, having previously taken home the gong in 2008 and 2005.

Meanwhile, drummer Dominic Howard revealed that Bellamy failed to recognise Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts at the music magazine's ceremony, mistaking the pair for members of the Pussycat Dolls.

    Lol.... Matt, Matt :noey::LOL:

A member of muselive forums, "dip", managed to sneak into the VIP area of the NME Awards last night and have a chat to Dom. Here's what they found out:

    a) album is 50% done

    b) it includes the heaviest and the softest stuff they've written

    c) recording reminds them of the OOS recording, with the different instruments they're experimenting with

    d) in talks with the people in charge of the Readling/Leeds festival for next year (2010)

    e) possible song name is the atrocity vector

    f) tour in early october

Of course, as usual, take this with a pinch of salt!

Yeah, I believe dip is in muse.mu as well cause I remember seeing that name unless there is someone else using that name in here. Lucky bugger get to chat with Dom  Lol! At least we get some info out from it :chuckle:

Nah Mix.fm is actually the official radio station. But I dont think they announced much either, and I dont think Mraz is sold out yet either. But its weird la, most of their seated tickets are sold out but their standing ones are still up for grabs!

Working at TGIF for me was really hard though, it was so stressful during rush hours! but apart from that then yeah, its fun alright. we all pull pranks on each other and stuff, lol its hilarious. I remember my last day working, they 'punished' my friends and I by throwing a load of dishwater and crap water and ketchup/chilli sauce etc at us. It was damn disgusting. but still fun nonetheless

Aww! sad you cant go la =( am i the only muser going?

OHhh yeah I wanted to ask. who are those people on your sig? I only recognize Dom and that 30STM dude. :

Awhh.... I've been thinking all along hits fm is the official radio station :$ Yeah, cause I believe Jason Mraz concert is more for the seating down than standing and the seating ones are much cheaper ^^

Hehe.... Awww.... I bet it left some real good memories especially the punishment on the last day part =P HAha.... BUt it is fun I believe. I almost kena punishment on my last day of training as well. Thank God they didn't do anything XD

I'm feeling sad I can't go too :( Sigh.... Remember to snap pictures for us

Eh, my sig pictures look fine yesterday. Why is it cropped today? *pfft*:indiff: Lol... The one in between Dom and Shahnon Leto is Paramore's drummer, Zach. In my opinion he's not that cute but he drumming ain't too bad =D The one on the upmost right is Mike from the band Melee. He's drumming style kinda reminds me a bit of Dom is he looks really gorgeous in the Build to Last vid :D:p

Matt would most certainly have the loveliest hands holding those horse reins!

Some of my friends say I'm crazy for thinking so far ahead - but don't they know that Reading/Leeds tickets would sell out in the matter of minutes months before the final lineup is confirmed?!

Joelyn, we shall mourn together for not going to Mraz... lol. Would be fun to hang out with you after work! What time do you get off? 10pm? :(

This is year is definitely going to be a good year of album releases!

Haha.... You and your hands. LOL!

Wow.... So you do want to go to UK for Muse concert?! That's really cool! I don't think I dare to annouce to my dad "Daddy, I'm going to England for a concert festival" :stunned: lol!

Yeah... my work finish about 11.30pm to 12am at night :'(

  8. can't wait for their new album as well! especially after watching all those NME videos on youtube. i love it that Matt won sexiest male again even though he said he was too short to be sexy haha. soooo nice to get new info about them. they looked GOOD esp Dom!

oooh :$:LOL:i believe i can fly! * goes all perasan!

come, come we all go to jakarta and singapore if muse come!

i can only ask for a day leave. which sucks really. my other option is to take fake mcs heh..

jason mraz is next week eh? wonder if the tix are sold out?

Lol....The way Mat said I'm too short, I'm too short to be voted as the sexiest male is funny

Hehe... We all can fly ma.... by plane la :p:LOL:

Remember to call me along ok? I also want to go ^^ Hehe... By the way, it's not so hard to take fake MC since I started working. But I never took one yet :p

I don't think Jason Mraz tickets is sold out yet or else hitz fm will be annoucing all over, I think.

Hah no lah I ended up selling my S'pore tickets. Luckily got MALAYSIANS who wanted to buy la. Got lotsa singaporeans who wanted to buy but there's no way i could meet up with them and pass the tickets to them in time Emo. Ah well at least I still got to see Muse right? even if its only once. (unlike nut and vspirit)

Yeah its official, I'm gonna sell my Sunburst ticket, along with my friend's sunburst ticket, so thats 2 tickets for sale! mari mari mari!

Hey I worked as a waitress before too! and a sales assistant at a boutique called Tangoo, back when Tangoo wasn't soooo couture yet. Twas fun even though it has absolutely nothing to do with engineering

Lol I think NME really REALLY likes Muse. They keep winning everything every year!

Yeah Jason Mraz in this coming Wednesday.. WOOHOOOOOOO CANT WAIT.

I was watching some live videos of him on youtube, omg, he is fantastic. with perfect pitching and lotsa random 'boom ship dubadiba" stuff going on. Damn nice la. I cant wait. He's so funky and jazzy

Oh yeah speaking of Mraz, I spent the whole day today exploring Jalan Stadium! Is the parking place you were talking about opposite Std Merdeka? There's like this whole lot around there for parking. I wonder if they're gonna be open on Wednesday night was that where you parked before?

Btw I felt suuuuuuuuuuuuuper nostalgic when I passed by Std Negara around 5 times today ahhhh, muse. I miss them!

I have a feeling they'll come back here when their new album is out. it was sold out man! that rarely happens. I dont know if that happened in other asian countries, because if they didnt sold out, that might've contributed to their er, non-profit of the tour. since we sold out, they must've gotten lotsa profit from us! which might make them wanna come back again? I hope I'm making sense

Awh.... I thought you went for both but at least you did go for one of them. But if you could go for 2 it will be much better =)

Lol... While I'm working as a waitress(part time) in lilttle penang cafe, it is fun but then now it seems like so much more stress cause of a 5 star hotel restaurant and one of my supervisor is damn strict. She really make my work damn stress especially when the restaurant is quite full. Just made sure you had fun along the way while working, ok? ;)

Sigh.... Too bad I can't go to Jason Mraz concert =((((( cause my colleague went on leave and both of us can't go on leave at the same time . I want to go to Stadium Negara and go for a concert!!!! :'( :'( :'(

  9. Eh yeah! I was like that for Muse too. I even bought my Singapore tickets already then when they announced their M'sian gig here I was suuuuuuuuuper happy

But ala, Sunburst is in a month and no update yet. I'm losing hope pretty quickly

Either I work in a concert organising agency or I work at a music store lah. whichever i might enjoy more. I think i'll enjoy working part time at a music store more haha. can get discount on CDs methink

Haha… You went for both?! Cool! ^^

As long as you love the job and it’s related to your future(even if it’s not related to your future also can la =P ) Last time I went to apply job at Pets Wonderland. Too bad no vacancies at that time T…T

Yeah, the international act is already announce yesterday and nothing much. Only Korn is the most interesting one :erm:

Have you guys heard that Matthew Bellamy co-composed a movie score for The International.

The music is really good especially the piano bit :D

mimpi bole jd kenyataan beb! but ok la.. reality check. kemungkinan for my pengetua to belanja me tengok konsert rock is like me marrying Dom la kan.. haha.

ooooh.. me wanna do the same thing. if Muse do another Asian tour, i would definitely try to go the neighbouring countries to see 'em. but it all depends on the dates la kan. can only go if it's during the school hols.

i got an e-mail from muselive about that! really nice.

Haha…. Nah, I believe the possibility of you marry Dom is higher than your pengetua buying you a rock concert ticket XP Hehe…. Honestly, it’s not impossible for Dom to marry you cause he had seen you before and he smiled at you quite a lot at the concert isn’t it ;) XP *teruk betul aku ni*

Ooooo… If Muse is gonna do any concert in any neighbouring countries, I want to go as long as most of you are going :D Hmmm…. Can you apply for leave during school time or school days? :erm:

KORN!? Sorry, I'm selling my 11 tickets off. (No, it's not for my 8 boyfriends Joelyn lol, it's 10! Haha! ) Any takers? (the tickets, that is.. ;) )

As for the taste of symphonic monster - waaahh the cellos are to die for at certain parts! It reminded me at first as something off The Dark Knight but then as it became more apparent that the whole thing has a life of its own, a little more futuristic at parts I daresay (must be Matt's kerja :) ) the ending could've been more dramatic but I also like that it has a gradual ending so no complains there I suppose :]

Last but not least, before I get some rest...

HAPPY 9 MINUTES EARLY 2nd ANNIVERSARY OF OUR MUSE KL CONCERT!!!!!!!

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY SINCE THE AWESOME MUSE KL CONCERT!

    <3

You guys are the best bunch of fun-filled fans and friends in a community, even for the ones I have met offline ;) Here's hoping we'll all celebrate plenty of anniversaries to come together! :D

 Laa…. If there is any takers for your boyfriend also nevermind la. You got 10 ma =P Hehe…. Lol…. Can hear the music is memang Matt punya kerja =D Can get mesmerize by it ^^

Opps, I totally forgot about it but Jason Mraz concert reminds me about Muse concert :(

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

Korn: Yup another fan here! Tu band zaman gua la beb. I can still remember walking to class, wearing my 'konon2 Jonathan Davis' army top and singing along to A.D.I.D.A.S. Haha but I dont think they;ll sing that song in KL. Eh wait, how the hell did Korn lepas masuk Msia? Okay2 dont question a good thing I guess. So in conclusion I'm glad I didnt sell my Sunburst tix.

Er Nut u coming over ke for Korn?

Haha…. You made me laugh when you said “tu band zaman gua punya babe” XP

  10. eh? what PM? i didn't get any PM :(

omgosh Phil sings! and he has a great voice too! do you know that he used to be an English teacher? that's why he's always smartly dressed eh? ;) i feel like going to Brazil or Mexico this march to watch 'em. haiiihhh.. will they ever be coming here? Must. Watch. Radiohead. Live. at least once in my life!

please. tell me. what is the reason that man lying in the middle of the pavement? i've been wondering about it for years now!

i wish my pengetua would belanja me a concert tix as well! jason mraz ke or sunburst or rihana ke..

:LOL::LOL: Ya la tu. Mimpi la kau :p

  11. Whoa wait, why do you have so many tickets?

I just bought my Jason Mraz tickets today! the RM68 ones only though. I really wanted the RM88 ones but they were sold out :( I cant be arsed to stand in a Jason Mraz concert so yeah... RM68 it is for me. CANT WAIT WHEE. I even took home the little flier thing so that I can hang it on my wall with my Sunburst and Muse fliers too

    --------------------

OMG its that Milk carton videooo!! I remember watching the video on MTV when I was a kid, I didnt know that was Blur! thank you for that videooo!!! I love that milk carton. its so cute. <333 I remember smiling to myself as a kid because I thought wah that milk carton was so cuuute! I was sad to see it 'die', but then it went to heaven with the strawberry milk and all was fine and dandy again  omg Liz I thought I would never see that video again hahah.

Nah I doubt pineapple would want to borrow money from the govt. Is that common? I've never heard of any concert organizer doing that before :stunned: but then again, what do i know? haha. Maybe they could find more sponsors! No wait, let me rephrase that, they SHOULD find more sponsors. They're in deep shit right now if they dont get more quality international artists. and Coldplay is just what they need. Unfortunately, I think pineapple are too busy concentrating on Rihanna's (postponed? canceled?) gig. I highly doubt she's gonna tour again anytime soon now that she's all bruised :( I watched E today and they didnt mention anything about her going back on tour.

Lol do you really dream of owning a concert organizing agency one day? When I was buying my Mraz tickets today I actually felt like working part time there in the future, while waiting for my A levels results to come out later this year. hmmm.

Yeah or campur chart. You'll still find the same kind of bands anyway. Still cant beat last year's lineup la :( Its quite unprofessional of them lor, to still have an unconfirmed lineup with the gig is a month away, and when they have already started selling tickets. Its almost as if they're damn cocky to think people would buy their tickets blindly. :\

I'm still hoping coldplay comes though  I think I'm in denial. THEY CANT SKIP MALAYSIA. THEY JUST CANT. *bawls*

Eh I remember reading/hearing somewhere that Tyson Ritter was born in a rock concert! I forgot which band it was though, could be Metallica or Def Lepard (sp?) or some sort. but still, its so cool :p

Lol.... Yah, why so many ticket Liz? Unless you got 8 boyfriends to go with you to :p Haha....Kidding!

I'm also gonna buy the 68 cause it's the cheapest XP. Hopefully it's not sold out by the time I could confirm to go =(

I also saw that milk cartoon video when I was young! It is cute but I don't like the part where he have to die la.... So sad :( :'(

I think you could do part time in all this concert organisation but you just need to know where and who to ask from. Sigh.... it is very unprofessional of them.

Debbie, don't give up hope on Coldplay coming. When I first saw the small column of news that Muse is coming to Singapore in January 2007 to play, I'm thinking, aww.... they are going to Singapore. Maybe I can go to Singapore in Jan and then suddenly a few weeks later they annouce Muse is coming to Malaysia. I literally jump up for joy but that time not that into them yet  =P

  12. Woah! Haven't been online for so long. So many post!

In Mandarin it's bu ke qi. Bu yau ke qi (or pu yau ker chi, that's Hokkien?) would be 'don't want problems' instead of 'no problem.' Pu ker chi might be the Hokkien version. Probably is.

    Thanks ^^

Joelyn, the list is here still no Coldplay there today. maybe they're not coming? am just not too sure. to be honest, i don't really care coz i don't fancy them that much heh..

my sister who likes Westlife and all those 'pop'y stuff loves Day and Age! but i don't actually like it haha..

i have to agree with yr rant. not Meyer's fault.

Aww... Thank you for the link :D

Joelyn, yeah I know what you mean about Steph Meyer. Its not like she expected Twilight to be such a hit, and if I were a successful author like herself I would want Muse to be in my movie adaptation too! In fact I'd want ALL their songs to be in my movie hahaha.

But I doubt she expected her movie to be like, such a huge teeny bopper phenomenon. The Muse fans (who didnt like Muse because of Twilight) would be bummed to know that Muse is getting so much teeny bopper recognition, of course they'd throw a fit. I know I kinda did. I didn't like the fact that a whole bunch of new Twihards are all over Muse juuuuuust because Steph Meyer is into them. They're not liking Muse for their music, but only for the fact that Steph Meyer loves em. If some of them DO like Muse for their music, then good on them! But those who dont, then that just sucks. Its not Steph Meyer's fault that she's so into Muse and that she's so successful she's created a whole new group of Muse-liking Twihards.

Aiya, I'm rambling. Someone shut me up now.

    Plus fucking one.

I am SO pissed off at Pineapple concerts now. I mean, dah la they're daring enough to start selling tickets even before the line up was fucking announced, but NOW they want to announce only ONE freakin international artist? If we wanted to watch Local Artists, there's stuff like Campur Chart and RTW already, we dont need an overpriced music festival to watch them at some muddy park with filthy toilets and overpriced food.

    Fucking hell.

I am SO disappointed with Pineapple ARHGHGHASDLFKA. Freakin unreliable assfreaks.

... I'm still gonna get my ticket anyway. I'm hoping that this is just a marketing gimmick for us Coldplay fans to wait til they're confirmed, which is probably going to be announced conveniently after the early bird promotion. Damn 'em lousy unreliable greedy shitbags. *grumble grumble*. (not coldplay, they're awesome. its the pineapple people who are greedy lousy shitbags). I just hope that Coldplay really IS coming, no matter what. Because thats how much I want to see them. If they're not coming, I'll be selling my tickets too. Hopefully someone would want to buy them la. Hopefully.

    Sigh.

Sigh..... Problems with all this music festivals is there is like almost all local artist and hardly and international artis. Like that might as well go for the rock the world  Whatever la. Anyway, usually they do last minute stuff of confirming. But they just started doing sunburst thing so give them time to improve lo. And economy this year isn't that good as well =)

  13. Ishh.... I'm really quite pissed with some of the forum members. I dunno why the hell do they want to blame everything on Stephanie Meyers just because she thanks Muse in the acknowledgment which is why a lot of people now got to know who is Muse. It's not like she is the one who commands those bobby people to post stuff on you tube like, twilight makes SMBH sounds better or I love Muse cause twilight played SMBH! Come on! She can't control which of her fans can like Muse or not or what they says.

And exactly how much media bothers to play Muse materials cause they are not so called "pop" songs or mainstream songs! Stephanie Meyer is like letting people know Muse and those who are into this type of genre in the end will love Muse. We might hear a lot of artist actually praised or said that the one who influence them into the music industry is another artist but how many authors bother to write all this? I believe she might be the first one and only one.

And I think some of them are possessive of Muse. Who are they to say who have the right to like or not to like Muse? They don't own them! And honestly when my best friend(she doesn't really like Muse cause they sound a bit weird to her and I hog her on and on about Muse :p That part is partially my fault =P ) told me that Stephanie Meyers written something about Muse in the acknowledgment and I'm so excited when I heard it. I can even throw back at my friends face when she said something bad about Muse(she's just teasing me la) that Stephanie Meyers love Muse, you see! And she got nothing to say. Lol

Whatever it is, Stephanie Meyers is just doing what most of us(the obsessed fans) are doing, just doing it on a bigger scale .

So sorry on my big fat rant! They just make me sakit hati only whenever I read their post

  14. i have to disagree with ya there about the Killers. i think their new album sounds quite different from their previous Sam's Town or even Hot Fuss. perhaps the synth heavy sound is still there in Human and other songs which i just can't remember the title of but i think the band sounds different now. but i still prefer Sam's Town.

omg yeah.. the healing drumbeat! Nonoor, i forgot to quote u on that!

i think Dom looked good in the video.

i should be sleeping now. was really excited about sunburst but what a disappointment now.

Lol.... Day and Age does sound different from Bones or All the things that I've Done or Read my mind. But it still have that old fashion rock feeling to it. I thought they change their style from that :stunned: But nevertheless it's still worth listening :)

Do you have Sunburst list? of who is playing? and what is the date? :$

    Bu ke qi.

Lol.... Is it Pu yau ker chi, bu ke qi, or pu ker chi? there seems to be so many variations:LOL:

Only 7 months left or so til we listen to new Muse materials!! Weee!

Ah, can't read up on all the previous posts now, but this I have to say:

Pineapple Concerts, what in the world are you doing? While you may say that you are leading Malaysia and taking a step forward into a world of music festivals and such - I simply cannot believe that your launch event was nothing but a total confusion (at least for me) and what in the world was up with the announcement of your line up?! Have you not learned a thing or two from your counterparts like the people who run SingFest? When Travis jumped on the wagon that they'll be performing, the PRs immediately got to work. This happened months, I repeat, months before the actual Singfest date.

I am certainly hoping for their sake, that this is certainly not just a ploy to release information about Coldplay's coming to Malaysia after the early bird period. Could it be that Coldplay's simply a rumour to get things going? The people my sister and I talked to last night confirmed to us that Coldplay would indeed be playing Sunburst next month. How much of that is true?

Well, we trust them enough to buy the early bird tickets at the event last night. Worst thing that could happen? Chris Martin and gang for some reason can't fly out from their Auckland gig (March 19th) in time for their Saturday show. If that so happens, well then N.E.R.D fans perk your heads up, I'm willing to sell my tickets!

Lol.... Liz, better not hope too much on Muse releasing in September in case they are late like the blizzard group(Warcraft company) Just cross our fingers and hope they release it by this year :D

Hmmmm..... Do you realise it, that Malaysia have the tendency to announce concert event quite last minute. The earliest is like 2 and a half month before the concert event itself while in overseas, they announce it like half a year before the concert itself. Maybe that's why most of the concert isn't really filled up or have enough audience.

  15. yeah, geek in the pink is ok to me. but my sis pinjam the latest album from her friend, the album that got lucky and that other song that i cant remember rite now:rolleyes:. anyway, it was such a boring album. the album sounded the same as lucky and that other song from track to track! so i couldnt bring myself to listen to it anylonger!!! anyway, that's my opinion....well, actually, i just listen to every tracks like 30 seconds and my conclusion is that. well, first off, you dont have to listen to every single song to know it's a good album, yeah? because that's what i do to radiohead, muse, and sigur ros. the first 30 secs of every song is interesting to listen to

Hmmm.... and I thought hitz fm I think, recommend that album to be a must buy album thingy?

Hmm......I guess everyone has a different taste.

I dunno is it a trend or something but it seems like a few artist is doing the same. The Killers new album, all their music has somewhat the same style. But it's not bad to hear so it's not an entirely a waste

03.02.2009 Source : Laureen P. (journalist who worked with Warner)

Warner decided to release the new yet-to-be-name album inSeptember 2009 . An european tour should follow in fall.

Hahaha I think its 'pu ke chi'? Something like that!

Um..well..it was quite bad for me

Hahaha that was random! All the sheep..so next time when you can't sleep, count sheep, and Dom's healing drum beats!

    WEEEEEE I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!

    Arigato ^^

    Healing drumbeat :eyebrows: :chuckle

Mmmm... I'd swap my rice for your cheesecake right now nom.

Eh where is this Little Penang place? I wanna try their asam laksa too.

Oh yeah, whats up with the sheep? I dont get it

So good It was scorching hot in Penang. And I didnt even see the beach this year. Meh. lol. OMG all this talk of food is making me so hungry!

    What video is that? *lost*

Hey I actually quite like Jason Mraz's new album. I find it really refreshing from all that alt rock I've been listening to, haha. And his songs are really catchy la, there's no doubt in my mind that he is a great musician. His improvisations are superb live. its very jazzy. Thats why i wanna go for his gig so bad! but i guess its to each their own right?

I think its 'pu yong ker chi', if you dont mind me butting in your chinese conversation

Oh! hahaha cheh. I thought you all were gonna play a Muser outing or something. I thought you tak ajak cos I dont post much anymore or something ehheh.

Eh is there a new Muse video out that I missed? I checked the News section and I didnt see anything

Little Penang Cafe, they have it in Mid Valley and KLCC just beside Kinokunia. Not sure whether they have it in PJ or not :erm: All the food talking is making me hungry as well

    LOL

The video is on Dom with Sheeps :D XP

Haha.... Me and my broken Mandrin =P

  16. waaaaaaah this thread has gotten suuuper busy!

btw Happy Chinese New Year guys! I balik-ed kampung to Penang this year. omg I LOVE ASAM LAKSA SO MUCH IF IT WAS A PERSON I WANT TO MARRY IT AND HAVE BABIES WITH IT.

Its mad how hot Penang is though :stunned: and i forgot to bring sunblock because I thought it'd be cloudy and rainy like KL

Did any of you guys balik kampung this year?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ooooh all this talk of food is making me hungry! I've honestly never tried Mee Jawa before. Nice ar? lol. I've tried Mee Rebus though, its like the malay version of Prawn Mee (ie Hokkien Mee apparently?) and its niiiiice. I always order that at my friend's Nyonya restaurant. Did I mention how much I love Asam Laksa? lol.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I didnt get a PM?

    Anyone going for Jason Mraz?

I went back to Kedah for 4 and a half day ^ ^ Went back on CNY eve and came back on Thrusday. The weather this year is much more cooler than the years before so yay! not so hot =P The road isn't jam too =D Honestly, for most of us who balik kampung, it looks like the only thing we do the mostly is to eat  LOL

Emmm.... Mee Jawa is a bit like mee rebus but the kuah is much morewatery. Not as thick as mee rebus and I think mee rebus has much more spices(the taste) than mee jawa. It is very hard to find a good mee jawa over here which is why usually I go back to Kedah or Penang, I'll eat the mee jawa ^^ (not to mention a whole lot of other hawker food like hokkien mee, char koay teow, penang laksa, keow teow sup >.<, curry mee, dryn noodles and I can't stop naming each one of them) XP haha.... lol

Thinking about it making me feel nyam nyam.... LOL

oh yeah, jason mraz? jangan la pergi! LOL save money, spend on muse's next concert hahaha

oh yeah, all the best to you guys in whatever you're doing!

    Haha... Thanks =D

Lol... Honestly I think the guy in rock corner listen to rock music cause once I ask about 1 rock band, forgot who and he said currently they don't have that album but they have some of their older albums and he name me a few and said, those are quite good if you like that type of genre songs. And also recommend others that isn't exactly mainstream. I'm like :stunned:(wow.... he listens to them) Did not expect that =P

Why Jason Mraz jangan pergi? He is not bad ma, and I quite like some of his singles from his geek in the pink album like word.... something XP (i forgot the title)

oh trust me after 4 years of teaching in a chinese school, i think i can understand quite a number of chinese dirty words haha..

eh? sama ke? i thought it's different. mee kari is pretty nice too eh? i kinda like to put a lot of asam limau in it. baru kow! feel like swapping the cheesecake am having rite now for a mee kari heh..

eheh.. sorry. a bit obsessed about Mogwai la kebelakangan ini.

    oh i balik kampung everday!

wah asam laksa! the best asam laksa i've ever tasted was at Little Penang restaurant. freaking nice!

    random note,

i do love watching Dom at the countryside with all those sheep!

Haha *ahem* You taught in Chinese school meh?! I thought all along you taught in sekolah kebangsaan

Mee Kari is pretty nice if the santan is just enough and the kuah cukup 'kau' HAha.... I don't exactly love mee kari much(except the maggi mee one) but I do eat it as well if it's a really good one  Cheese cake!!!! Nicey :D Do you realise with the sudden expension of Secret Recipe all over Klang Valley, suddenly it's kinda hard to find any cake shops that isn't branded? In the end it's hard to find a good and cheap cakey :'(

Little Penang Cafe asam laksa is quite nice but I prefer laksa that is more to Malay style and a blend of Chinese....(lol, in the end, become nyona laksa.... :stunned:)

    On your random note,

When I first saw the video(w/o the audio cause something wrong with the speaker) I thought they were playing some symphonic monster music in the background with the snare... In the end it's only Dom counting 1,2,3 -thing! and with the sheep edging away :chuckle:

Late. Or early I should say. Haha.

Wow, those concert shots are amazing! Minus...the ones with me in it hahaha! I particularly love the one where they use the combination effect to combine the pictures of the crowd and Stuart on stage. They used you guys as the crowd shot! How lovely. Hee.

Oh and also, I think what you quoted earlier was in cantonese but Joelyn is in Mandarin. I can't speak both though haha

He's ... a fan of good rockin' music.

My kampung is nearby So considered balik-ed, right?

I went for an interview today (yes, I have finally sent out those resumes lol) and I start my practical training tomorrow!

Eeeek. My holidays have been cut short. *sobs*

But I guess at these times, I shouldn't complain too much hmm?

Jason Mraz is still pending for me, now that I'm working - I would hate to have to stay back for work on Wednesday night =[

 Good for us. We can listen to Muse on radio now :D Hehe...

Lol... Jason Mraz is pending for me too. I won't be able to confirm till quite last minute so it will be a last minute ticket for me :p Hopefully it's not sold out as fast as Muse's concert.... Ekkk

  17. 2.11 am? wow. what time do you sleep? :stunned:

hehe.. i didn't mean to say so hai. i do know what that means tho :stunned::LOL:

you prefer mee jawa? awesome! coz i love mee jawa too. well, in small quantity only la.. i can't too much. here, we eat mee jawa for breakfast. yum!

i hope you'll like your new school. :)

    btw, miele, Aida, and Liz,

i think you should check this person's flickr album out. seriously. check out ALL of her Mogwai photos.;)

    http://http://www.flickr.com/photos/blueglory/sets/72157613255611384/

 Maybe it's better if you dunno the meaning :p As long as you know it's a dirty word ma sudah lo

:chuckle: Actually jawa mee and mee rebus is quite similar isn't it? Just a little different only >.o

  18. NEVER WILL I LEAVE!

    Mehehehe xie xie ni :D

Well, it was their really..silly decision to put me here in the first place. Kononnya nak TRY. I have endured for 5 years, and now they've started to see the 'true colours'.

    Hehe.... Nice to know :D

Pou yau ker chi :p (I don't even know whether it's right or not)

Lol.... But at least you can see the different cultures between schools  But I believe last time it's not that bad isn't it? :erm:

Kevin's doing a cover theme tonight. 30 minutes in, and I'm hearing Muse's cover of Can't Take My Eyes Off of You :D

2:11am - I think he's playing a live version of Time Is Running Out!

What?! Can't take my eyes off you?!!!

I'm so tuning in!(looking determine) =p hehe

Is he a fan of Muse?

  19. No wonder. The only thing I know how to say in Hokkien is.....Hokkien mee.

:LOL:Don't worry. I love hokkien mee(the one in Penang) prawn mee is actually hokkien mee in penang. Dunno why the kl people change it's name... :erm: Hehe... Don't worry. I don't really know Mandrin for your infomation :p

what the heck? no. i didn't mean to swear haha. i was trying to say where is the freaking toilet?

    sorry for butchering the language.

Hokkien mee sounds so nice but mee rebus is more delicious!

:LOL:Lol... After re-reading your quote back only did I realised you are saying chee sor hai pin to? Bacause you type so hai, I thought it's a bad word.... :ninja::p:LOL:

Honestly I never ate hokkien mee before, the black colour sauce noodle, not prawn mee XP

Hmmm.... :erm: if I were to choose mee rebus or mee jawa, I think I prefer mee jawa XD =P

No, I'll still be staying here (in JB...and here in the boards too...) :D

Wo ge yi chiang hua yi! Yi dian dian only. I get the tones wrong all the time!

    Pandorasboxers and Nut,

I chose schools around the Northern part, 'coz I'll be commuting to school  Heheh.

    First choice : Marsiling Sec

Basically my parents have had it with the attitudes of the teachers and so on and so forth. And so have I. So I decided to take the SPERS exam. We weren't so serious that time, but after we got the results, and we've chosen the schools...I'm so ready to leave the shit hole I'm studying in

Your parents sounds totally great, being so considerate and and attentive towards you :D Will reply your PM asap ;)

  20. Lol I didn't get much pics from the M&G, but the letter was basically thanking them for coming all the way from Scotland to Malaysia! I also wrote and asked them to talk to their counterparts, Idlewild/Snow Patrol, about Malaysia so these other bands would play here too.. Haha!

I regret not getting the soundscape guy's number or something. Only his name! Meh.

    ---------------------

Anywayyy, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! :] I had a pretty eventful start to the year I have to say. Long story, maybe I'll talk to you guys about it during Sunburst. Hehe.

So heyyyyy, does anyone remember Kevin B!??!?! He used to run this radio rock show back in the old Wow FM days... I was so depressed when he disappeared for like 5 years or so. But now... I FOUND HIM!!! HE'S ON EVERY WEEKDAY - 1AM TIL 4AM, on Capital FM 88.9!!!!! Gah, I miss his sarcasm and quirkiness! Right now, he's playing songs with names attached to it. Adrianne - The Calling, Iris - Goo Goo Dolls, Stacy's Mom - Fountains of Wayne, Jeremy - Pearl Jam etc. I remember hearing Lifehouse's Spin for the first time ever on his show back in 2002. Wow. 7 years ago. Good God, I missed him!

Anyone planning to head to Sunburst's launch party @ Pavilion, 9pm next Friday? They'll be announcing the official lineup then!

 NIce! But it's kinda thoughtful of you to write a letter thanking them :D I'm sure they would want to come again after reading your letter. Hehe... at least you know that soundscrape guy's name and which company he's working in ;] So not that hard to find him next time if you want to =P

The launch is at 9pm? Wow.... isn't it kinda late? I thought at least about 8 pm

Been studying in JB for 5 years, I'll be getting posted to a school in S'pore this coming Wednesday.

    http://www.mtvasia.com/News/200812/16017192.html :D

    AWW MAAAN.

So you won't be staying in Malaysia anymore?

 You do know how to read chinese. Sorry la dear but like what Debbie say, only married people give angpau's. :p

i wonder what that means? you don't have angpau something. something? i used to understand cantonese a bit when i was in college but i kinda forgot about it as i grow older. but i still remember this magical sentence "chee so hai pinto arr?" :p:chuckle:

Kevin B! oh yeah, i still remember him. so there's dj now on FM88.9. the last time i was listening to that station there were only songs. good songs tho but mostly American songs and sometimes Suede was played. oh wow Jeremy? What I actually mean is Gong Xi Fa Chai, sorry but I got no angpau to give :p Erm.... Faz, are you saying some chinese bad word? :stunned: Lol....

She said "Happy Chinese New Year. I don't have an angbao to give to you." in...Hokkien I think? I only speak Mandarin but that sentence is almost exactly the same.

 It's mandrin la my dear but i think the structur is in hokkien la :p

  21. Hello Malaysians! Happy Chinese New Year! I'm Singaporean but the Singapore thread is dead...don't mind if I crash the Malaysian party!

Haha.... It's ok and you are welcome. Nut here is a Singaporean as well

why hello pandorasboxers! :D you're always welcome to post here anytime. Happy Chinese New Year to you too. did you manage to catch Mogwai there last Friday?

Deb, am with you. i'll only buy Sunburst tix after they've announced the line-up.

Liz. it's awesome that you got to pass the letter to the band. the envelope you made was seriously beautiful! thanks to you they have something to remember us malaysians by! i hope they come again. is it too much to ask them to come for Sunburst too? :p and hey, maybe the soundscape guy remembered you from waiting for switchfoot at the airport! haha.. you never know. no pictures from the M&G? how was Stuart? was he talkative as well?

honestly, i didn't notice the lighting that much. perhaps we were too close to the stage to actually see the full lighting effects. i watched some singapore's gig vids and the lighting at Esplanande was fantastic. some people said that the attendance for KL's gig was depressing. not a lot of people came.. :(

Aida, thanks for the pictures. i have a video of batcat which i'm trying to upload on youtube.

dang it! Stuart was right of front of us.:stunned::happy: i adore him and his 14 thank you very much! i shall remember Mogwai's gig as the gig in which i almost tercekik strepsil haha...terkejut siot!! but it was a brilliant gig!! i am a fan now. they were freaking LOUD but good loud. and i love your new sigs! haha.. man, Butters and Mogwai withdrawals are too much for me to handle.

    [/Quote]

:LOL:Almost tercekik your strepsils?! Poor you but it sounded so funny and cute when you said that :chuckle: Thank you and happy cny to you too :D

    HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

    HONG BAO NA LAI!!!

    Welcome, Pandorasboxers!

I will be 16 next year! It depends on what course you are in. Normal Academic/Technical - Take their O Levels at the end of the 5th year (final year) of Secondary education, Express/Special - At the end of the 4th year (final year) of Secondary education.

    Gong Hei Fatt Choi.

Wor mei you angpau kei ni wor.... :(:p

  22. I proudly declare that the hiatus is over. Weee! Holidays are upon me!

I have so many things planned this time round. Who could forget the Singapore trip last semester? Has it really been a quarter of the year since then? Wow. Best thing to do would be to sit at home and rot :D Can't hardly wait for that. Right now though, lots of cookie-baking to do! (well I only help out, I'm the one who would usually put the pineapple jam tarts in the cupcake paper thing lol)

Ah, and what a great way to start my hols or "lepaskan exam geram" as Miele would put it ;) Mogwai came and totally startled me. Oh btw guys, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to talk to you properly after the show! I was about to go up to Love Me Butch's Meng (he was in the crowd!) to ask him which band he would bring in the next time round - but then I heard about the queueing up for a chance to meet the band so I went straight there, with my letter in hand :] I'll come to that letter part eventually but first the gig itself.

The lights. The colour. The shadows. The music. It all fits so - as cliche as this may sound - perfectly. I have to say Mogwai possibly has a sound to every shade of colour. When the music unites together you don't just get a blend of white but a rainbow of sound! Yes, a rainbow despite having the music that you hear being extremely dark and mysterious, and also at times almost boisterous. This is possibly the first time ever in a gig that I can't tell which instrument played on stage is making which distinct noise that I hear. Why, usually I could pay close attention to only the bass line for a period of time before moving on to the lead guitars for example. On Wednesday night however, try as I may, my attention couldn't just focus on one distinct instrument but instead I get everything in full force.

Truly, a night with a wide range of volume and sounds along with the countless (and adorable) "thank you very much" that we got. The band plays with such confidence and total concentration on their fellow band mates. For the music that they make, it would certainly require a lot of patience with your fellow band members to make it work and sound like what we experienced that night. My friend commented that they do not look like they were too into their songs like Explosions in the Sky, but instead they seemed really comfortable being on stage - drinking booze every once in awhile.

Speaking of alcohol, LOL the guys seemed really tipsy after the gig/during the meet&greet session. Kudos to the KLCC & Soundscape management for making an effort to have things run smoothly during the M&G! I managed to head up to the VIP lounge rooms in the first floor to have a chance to pass them the letter I wrote! (I got really bored of studying the night before - so I made an envelope that I'm particularly proud of for them along with the letter) No one else gave the guys something to take back so they were quite surprised to receive the letter. Then again, they were very talkative, extremely approachable and easily amused. I blame it on the alcohol lol. John Cummings was particularly hilarious. He was drinking orange juice and some vodka - to which he blames about the funny faces that he makes in pictures and apologized accordingly for it. At this point I chipped in "aww, but we love that you're making funny faces!" He was quiet for awhile before breaking into a huuuge smile saying, "Shucks, you just made me blush" in a verrry Scottish accent and looked away shyly and you know how Ewan McGregor's accent would make my knees go weak so... after that my friend kinda had to push me a bit so I would keep the line moving hahaha! I told the drummer that I love his choice of clothes (Mickey Mouse lol!), and then I gave the letter to the bassist, Dominic because he seemed rather quiet. Boy, was I wrong, as soon as he saw the envelope, he became quite talkative. As I was leaving the autograph area, I saw that he was attempting to open the letter. I asked him to read it on his flight to Singapore or something, but no, he was figuring a way out to open it without tearing the envelope there and then... lol how embarrassing. Good thing my friend quickly walked me out of the room after that because I wasn't sure if I could face looking at their reactions while reading the horribly written letter.

Despite the euphoria I was feeling after the concert and meeting them, I managed to thank all of them for coming to Malaysia, and I talked to the Soundscape guy as well to thank him for bringing Explosions AND Mogwai! He saw that I was holding a letter and asked why I didn't meet up with them at the airport. Lol. Does my face have a "I stalk bands in airport" stamped on it or something?! I guess Mogwai was lucky I had exams that day.

What an experience, and to be sure it would be one that would be difficult to overcome, in terms of lights and quality of sound.

My ears are still ringing! <3

Woa, sorry for the wall of text...

Oh and Debbie, I'm sorry I didn't read your PM til today :[ the seated Jason Mraz tickets soudn rather appealing to me lol. I'll see what I can scrape from CNY haha! What movie were you watching that day?

Sunburst's RM143 early bird tickets are on sale from now til Feb 8th :) I wonder if Kaiser could squeeze March 21st for a Sunburst appearance!

 The meet and greet sounds really fun for you. Haha.... Looks away shyly? Is he really that shy? Lol.... I'm sure it's cute to look at:rolleyes::chuckle: I doubt he(the bassist) could open the envolope without tearing it but with ur friend pulling you off, I bet he will quickly open the envolope :p without tearing it apart la.

What did you write in the envolope anyway? :ninja: I am a busy body :$ lol

 Most probably when you talk to the soundscrape guy, it sounds like you are quite experienced. :p Nah, don't take it as an offence. Take it as a compliment lo ;) Hehe.... Too bad we haven't met Muse from close up yet :p:LOL:

    Happy Chinese New Year, Liz:D
