Wait. When did nerd herd turn 23? It seems like you don't have that many birthdays, but definitely more than bucket_ (and Dom??) do for some reason.
It's my birthday in three days if you want to send me a guitar in the post

does it sxc
Ha, I saw that.
Not sure, not so keen on the humbuckers. I actually have a mockup from years ago similar to that but based off Josh Homme's baritone tele lemme see if I can find it

Decided to book an impromptu trip to Poland to see them and Radiohead for £50 oi oi

That bug on his 'sunglassses' really distractred me for the rest of the video
-
Christ that is absolute filth.
I wonder if there's a good profile of something like that

Just because.

[media]Now someone grab a bargain. I'm (not) sure it will be an easy fix.
Ha can't believe that's still up. What a vintage video

Honestly, early demos of song we already have is what I'm hoping for, for that exact reason. I'd rather hear how their best songs started out rather than something to which they said "actually guys, Jimmy Kane is better".
Actually really hope there's a good recording of the early Plug in Baby

New solo for Psycho:
Guess Matt's really getting back into his Whammy Bar lately Sounds good though.

Dig Down? More like let down. Hahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhaa
Let Down is actually a really good song though. What did we do to deserve this?

T2L was when they did their own mixing and mastering, wasn't it? That was definitely their best production-wise. It's a shame the majority of the songs on it definitely needed some assisted direction.
Nah never done their own mixing and mastering. They produced TR and T2L themselves, but they've always had studio engineers and then mixed and mastered by other people
-
Is it? The Resistance was Muse at their dullest (mix-wise).
I actually quite like the mix on TR. I can get what you mean by dullest, there's not really much personality and it all sounds almost a bit too perfect but it is really tight
Anyone know if it's going to be available on streaming sites at midnight or if it's released at some other point tomorrow?
-
Actual gear talk though, that acoustic is a lot thinner than I realised. Guess it makes it look a bit nicer, still not too keen though
I'm sure if it's used for a good song I'll love it no doubt
-
It must be the worst thing to be a big band and every time you post anything on social media you never get any real responses, just people asking you to tour *insert country here* even if you do already have dates for there and going on about how they love you *insert emoji here* even though they've never even met you

Carl.anthony.lorenz asks "Amp or Kemper?" in the comments section of a picture that shows two Diezel VH4 amplifiers in the background
-
It's a known fact that asking for a black card will prevent you from ever getting a black card
-
I would advise against sending AC down any snake with audio, too it's asking for trouble with hum unless you're using balanced tips?
Enit. Is it possible to transform DC into AC on the other end?
Having a browse and saw this
The Kemper wouldn't be the thing powering it per say, as it uses a normal 5 pin MIDI in. But that is what the Rocktron cable is made for. On one end is a 5 pin DIN connector to connect to the MIDI in on your amp, and a female plug for your controller's power supply. They are combined into a 7 pin DIN plug at the other end which will both provide MIDI signal and power to the MIDI Mate.so it seems you can make a FrankenMIDI cable

I think one of the old C64 pose supplies will give you that, pretty sure it's the first version for the bread bin version.
It's probably easier to just get a 9vac supply, rectify and regulate to 9vdc. Should work fine.
Ideally I want to get this all down one loom alongside audio cable as well
-
Anyone know of a PSU that can supply
- 9V DC 200mA
- 9V AC 1000mA
Alternatively does anyone know if it's possible to merge a 5pin MIDI signal with a power supply in a 7 pin cable?
Also,
Say by chance you have a MIDI footswitch which sends a MIDI command to another MIDI controlled unit such as a Kemper, but also to a Whammy, how does that work? The Whammy MIDI settings are fixed so surely to switch between settings on that you need to send that specific MIDI signal? Unless another device like a MIDI switcher or something is needed. Anyone got any experience with this?

Anyone be interested in a set of RWRP Supermassive Bare Knuckles?

Nice! Thank you I know that Fender Japan does some medium scale Jazz bass, but not short scale Wonder how big the difference is jumping from 30.3" to 32"
I was wondering if I should contact the venue before hand to see what their policy is, but I would hate to piss the band off "Could you please sign the back of the headstock? Just the back of the headstock please. No no no not the front of the guitar"
Nah don't worry about it, they're just human too.
I mean you're not likely gonna get a guitar into the gig venue, so if you're going to the gig your best bet is to park near and grab it out your car afterwards
-
God damn it the week I paid for the Gretsch
I saw something that looked like a Jaguar, right? What else did he use?
Btw, how do people even get artists to sign their guitars? I assume you can't bring something that big anywhere near the concert venue, right? There's a person on Youtube who keeps getting Muse signatures on his (multiple) MBC-1's :|
Stalkers/have hotel or parking near enough venue that they can pop back after gig, get guitar, go back to venue and wait for them to come out
