doesn't he have a backup for every guitar?
That Mirror's always been pretty unique. Not that he doesn't have other FF guitars, I think he's just ditched it for this new gizmo
-
Does Matt realy use a teleprompter?
Just the rarer songs
-
I love how Matt's going for the 2002 World Cup David Beckham hair
-
IKR, that was shit!
I can't get over how much of a joke it sounded
-
Right, what the fuck is that new guitar thing. It looks shite. It sounds even more shite. Put it in the bin
Used to sound good enit
Also anyone got any shots of his pedalboard this gig?

Fall Out Muse

They make some grim looking guitars now don't they

Which BKP90's? Asking for a friend..
Late reply
I believe one is a Nantucket and one is a Supermassive. Will have to measure the outputs to work out which is which
I also have a possibly broken sustainer circuit board which someone can have for £20+p&p. I think the intensity pot got broken maybe and is stuck? Honestly can't remember. One for someone to have a play with
Still also got a Liquid Foot Pro for sale. £380 ono
and a Harley Benton 212 cab. Make an offer
Yamaha HS8 monitors are gone
-
- Liquid Foot Pro MIDI footswitch. Like used on TR tour
- BK p90 pickups
- 2x Yamaha HS8 monitor speakers
Go on buy my shit
Also a Harley Benton 212 guitar cab. Drivers worth more than the face value of the cab IIRC
- Liquid Foot Pro MIDI footswitch. Like used on TR tour

People are actually arguing about this? How can you say that the Drones stage wasn't visually awesome? It was incredible. Or are people just pissed/mixing it up with the fact that all the crowds were dull af and attributing that to the stage?

enit
If you're referring to the studio videos, that gives a good idea of what was used, but doesn't necessarily mean it ended up on the actual track.
That is true about live stuff though. He could be using something completely different.
No harm in leaving it for now, although it's a bit worrying that K&T seems to be one of the most active areas on the board now...
Deffo sounds like it though. Definitely reckon that LP made the recording and a lot of BH&R and TR has that p90 MQ/black kaoss tone
-
Villains is okay
-
Remember he could have used more than one guitar. Which he did. Strat (supposedly the aloha, which has those low output lace pickups) on the pre-chorus bits, and one of his customs on the more distorted parts. Not sure which one.
Listening to the album isn't the best way to tell. Better to find the isolated tracks (if they exist) but that still doesn't give a definitive answer.
...What guitar was used to record citizen erased?
Enit, like Uprising sounds a lot like either MQ 007 or another p90 (black kaoss) for the most part, then a neck LP for the riff and then live he just tends to use guitars with humbuckers in.
Don't quite see the point in this thread. Like I get the purpose, but it just seems a bit pointless

KoC is awful .
Bliss is the only truly good Muse video. Gave me the feels.
Naaaah, KoC is great! So ridiculous
I always liked the Bliss, TIRO, Hysteria, B&H, SMBH, Starlight, KoC videos
Hyper Music and FG as well

Wasn’t it during recording for bh&r that Hugh went to whatever studio in France and changed all of MB’s pickups? Think I know which article you mean though.
Yeah BH&R the motherbuckers and rio grandes went for BK. Part of why the original Delorean got retired because he didn't want to change it IIRC
-
Isn’t the resistance mainly MBk2 I remember reading an article where humans and said that Matt specifically requested that pick up during the recording of that album
Maybe, but Uprising, Resistance, US (riff) and MK all sound pretty p90ish to me
-
"A couple of super edgy guys"
Are you available?
-
BH&R especially sounds very Mississippi Queen
-
Isn't most of BH&R and TR?
-
Uprising - everything
-
Series (humbucker). I think they're generally setup to work with the single P90, and I guess that makes sense, as I don't think MB used the series setting too often.
Didn't Mansons rewire sxc jazz a while back?
Oh really? I thought it’d be the other way around. Aren’t sustainers designed to work with humbuckers?
They may have, would have been a while back though. More recently it went to google for a few bits
-
Yeah, you can also get parallel (like the middle position on an LP for example) on a mini toggle. But as far as I know, his are just series and single.
Which is the one that doesn’t go with a sustainer and squeals?
Not actually sure how my guitar is wired
-
Yeah there's an option to have them in series (as a massive humbucker) or use the one closest to the bridge on its own. I think he mainly uses the one by itself, at least most of the time.
Thought there were three settings? I have 3 at least
-
I've noticed he's been online elsewhere, but I didn't want to bring up the subject just yet.
Oh and did someone say wonky jazzmaster?
