Personal Information

  • Biography
I first heard about Muse from my ex in 2001, he played their songs down the phone to me! It was the next day that Origin of Symmetry was released - so I've been a fan for a long old while.

I'm a psychotherapist because I've always had this innate need to be of some use to the human race. I also received therapy at a difficult time in my life and I've seen the amazing good therapy can do in helping others to realise they don't have to be anything more than themselves to be happy. I saw the good in that and I wanted to be a part of it. Not much else about me to say really. Hopefully I'll catch some Muse gigs on my way to enlightenment!

  1. Just heard Exogenesis Part 3 played on BBC1 during the Olympic tennis coverage. They did a segment on Andy Murray's journey from the Wimbledon final to the Olympic final. Got a bit teary-eyed with that music playing in the background! Go Murray!
  2. Three stone? Wow, that's amazing, well done!

This place is ok, you know. I'm here a lot these days. Maybe a little less since some friends got banned and it got a bit dull.

Things are good with me. I've been to loads of gigs, too many to mention, but the most recent being the Kaiser Chiefs at the Electric Ballroom on Thursday. I'm seeing Queens of the Stone Age in a week or so and the Foo Fighters next month. Then READING! I'm doing the whole weekend, staying in a hotel with some boardies (no way am I camping). Hope to see you there. It's going to be amazing

  3. Hi there ;)

Yeah I don't come onto the boards that often, and if I do talk Muse I tend to stick to MuseLive. I'm really good at the moment; only a year left of uni and I've lost 3 stone since I saw you! Few more to go haha.

How are things with you? Been to any more gigs (Muse or otherwise)? I got tickets for Reading - Sunday only though. I can't be dealing with camping! I just had to see Muse's supposedly last time playing Origin. Should be pretty exciting.

  4. Hello Sarah, don't see you around on the board that much. How are you? (I was Matt Bellamy's Muse btw, namechanged)

  5. I still think they should do Hitman by Queen.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3szPRF3gaM It's not one of those 'massive' Queen songs that are so well known the original overshadows any attempt to cover it. I think maybe I am dying for Muse to do another song with a massive riff going all the way through lol... oh well.
  6. Was just watching episode 2 of Secret Britain on iPlayer and they had Exogenesis Part 1 playing briefly during a segment about a giant underground Cathedral-like limestone mine in Middleton Moors. Amazing programme btw... so much beauty we take for granted on our little island nation.
  7. Thanks for the link. :)

  8. Heh thanks... though I can't take all the credit. The gifs come from Paul Robertson's livejournal here: http://probertson.livejournal.com/33796.html

He was the lead artist on the game Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. I am a child of the 80s so this game is like a love letter to my gaming youth! <3

  9. Your avatar and signature rock. Just wanted to point that out.

  10. Undisclosed Desires was just played on the BBC3 TV programme called 'Vampires: Why They Bite' It's quite an interesting programme, which charts the history of vampires... the song was used during a section where they talked about the vampire's sexual desires lol... appropriate I suppose!
