  1. Oh, I already knew... that's why I gave my mom the other camera and asked her to video for me. I was singing, but the camera was just far away enough that you couldn't hear me! Fortunately it was only a tiny bit from one of my vids that I had to cut and the rest was just the end riff, spinny circles and me hypnotically following Matt exit the stage after having forgotten that I had wanted to stay on the mic so I could get Dom's goodbye And yes, your Nishe vid is
  2. Unlike a lot (most? all?) the other venues, MSG has part of the floor for standing and part for seats, so I'm not sure where exactly they'll put the soundboard, it may be amidst the seats... but from what people have said from other gigs there it seems like you shouldn't have any trouble finding a calm spot at the back of the standing area
  3. Something outside would be nice, especially in NY since I'll have other people hanging around who aren't going to the gig, I could get merch and give it to them or I could have them buy it for me! But I doubt I'll be that lucky Pirates of the Carribean I thought there was a good amount of muse merch at the VA gig, considering... maybe they just didn't have all the stuff in yet for the NY gigs?
  4. great minds I've been wondering the same thing about concertmaps. I hope I get my ticket soon, I'd like to have it in my possession Ticketmaster emailed me today telling me my ticket had been printed and will be mailed soon and I got that one a day after the concertmaps presale
  5. Thanks for the input, guys! I remember hearing people complaining at the U2 gig in NY that they had a hard time getting merch, so I was nervous at my gig and got my stuff beforehand but turns out I don't think it would have been a problem after. Hopefully I'll be able to get what I want at the first gig and won't have to worry!
  6. Ok, question - if I'm in the pit and want to be on the barrier, is there any chance at all of me getting merch? Is there usually stuff left after the show or will it be sold out or...? When I went to the U2 show there wasn't much hassle before the gig, went as soon as the gates opened, but I was seated so I had plenty of time. There also seemed to be stuff left afterwards shoud I expect the same for muse? I'd want to get a shirt and a program if they have one - and I figure the shirt I could get later online, but I don't think they've sold the programs online.... BTW I'm watching PoTC 3 and they're at the big battle at the end, the music is Man w/the Harmonica
  7. Yeah, I mean, I did go to the U2/Muse gig with nosebleed seats, but it just wasn't the same sort of thing. I'm going to two shows, so if I get pummelled/traumatized in DC, there may be a last minute GA ticket for MSG up for sale heh 5'9".... i wouldn't come up to your shoulder I'm not too worried about the space or that sort of thing, tbh the thing i'm most worried about is idiots taking advantage of the close quarters to cop a feel... that's about the only thing I think I wouldn't be able to handle...
  8. that'll never happen BUT I live in a 3rd floor apt, work on the third floor of a building where the bathroom is on the second floor.... i spend 90% of my life running up and down stairs, so my legs are strong and I should be able to brace myself well. I'm just short (5") so if I'm not at the front, not only will I not be able to see, but I may not be able to breathe if everyone is pushed in on top of me, so I'd have to retreat to the back/side. EDIT: first time at any gig ever, actually... i'm not really a "concert goer" but with these shows i decided screw it, i gotta try it, you only live once. And yeah, I'm way too scared to go to Matt's side of the stage, as much as I'd like to be there, so I'll probably aim for middle to right....
  9. I'll be alone... that's part of what scares me... and i'm not that big. So, i'll make an effort to get to the barrier, and if I can't, I'll be standing (hiding, even) aaaaaallllllll the way at the back trying not to get killed!

  16. i saw this message but forgot to respond to it - i had a lot of fun in that thread ;) And yeah, I think it was a good first thread ever ;)

What you have to know is that there was a new user (who has since gotten a name change and mellowed out) who was asking all these random questions in thread titles and then was saying some variation of "Just answer the question" in the text. So it was like "What's the address of Matt's old apartment in london? ..... Just answer the question" It almost seemed like trolling, but it was just a n00b who didn't know what they were doing.

But anyway, that's what inspired me to make the random thread :D For teh lulz :awesome:
