  1. I definetly won't be able to do the Saturday, and something has come up (personal issues, complicated, etc) which means I might not be able to do the Sunday. Saturday, I really can't do. Sunday, hopefully but looking less likely
  2. - I can get trains to either piccadilly or victoria, I've got 2 stations nearby. To victoria, I'd get in at 26 past the hour, and have to catch a train home at about quarter to the hour. To piccadilly, I'd get in at 5 past the hour and leave at 11 past the hour.
  3. Guys, we've only got 6 days now until the planned day of the meet. I'd like to propose the following. - Meet at Manchester Victoria/Piccadilly (please post below which is easier for you to get to) - Plan to arrive in Manchester between 1pm and 2pm - Do the filming at the locations discussed in the other thread. - Depending on where we finish the filming, and on what time people have to get their trains back home, we can decide pretty much there and then if we want to go for a meal or anything. Please post below what time your train back will be. Basically, just so we can organise it, please post the following below - Which station you will arrive at (Victoria / Piccadilly) - What time your train will get IN at said station and the train you will ideally get back home. Thanks
  4. Guys, feel free to invite a friend as well, as there aren't toooooo many of us. I dunno about what we want to do about food/bars whatever, does anyone know if there's a Wetherspoons near Victoria station (I personally think Vic is easier, even though I know there is a Wetherspoons near piccadilly)?
  5. got to make sure with my mate today (he's useless at replying) about the 9th. But it looks like it could be a reasonable date, if people can make it.
  6. We could do one by the council offices, don't think it'd look all that impressive though, probably just concrete jungle.
  7. I suggested in the other thread Sunday 9th August. Got to check with my mate if he can film that day, but if not, I'm sure one of us can do it. I'd also suggest we meet at Victoria station, as I think it's most convenient for travelling to. Please make your own suggestions, just thought we needed something to work with, as we don't have too much time to plan this Thoughts anyone?
  8. I'd like to suggest Sunday 9th August, but I need to check see if my mate is free to video us that day. He'll know tomorrow night if he's free that day. If that day is good for everyone, then it could be a date to pencil in. Also, how long do we think it's going to take us to film these things? Suppose it's all about finding the right spots to do it, I suggest we do more than we need, then we can select the best ones afterwards. Thoughts?
  9. As far as I know, Under 18s are allowed to drink alcohol provided it is with a meal...and Bar-nibbles don't count as meals unfortunately hehe. And they can enter pubs, before a specific time (is it 10pm most places?) and have soft drinks I think. Not too sure. If it offers food, I think it could be a viable option. What we don't want is to exclude anybody because of age
  10. @Renegade, of course you are welcome to come along! Maybe a restaurant is a better idea than a bar, that way we can eat and drink. If people want alcohol they can have it and if not then it's no problem; all have a good time. How old are you by the way?
  11. I'm going to ask a Muser friend of mine if he wouldn't mind videoing it for us. He likes all the stuff as well, so he wouldn't be an outsider . We need a date first though, London are doing theirs Sat 8th August, guessing weekends are probably better for everyone? EDIT: My friend said he can film it, what a legend
  12. I'm 18 Excuse my poor knwoedleg of Manchester, but what is Footage? Is it a bar/restaurant/space centre (okay, ignore the last one ) ?
  13. Love the idea, definitely think we should get food or something. Depends whether people need to be home early or whatever for work the next day. I don't know too many restaurants or bars, but I'm sure we have some lovely people who do know some
  14. As far as I'm aware, all groups are recording their own "sia"s, so we'll do as many of them in Manchester as we can. Should we also do the "and must we do as we're told" bits as well? Seen that they're being done by groups, so could put our name down on the "dib-list" if enough people want to do that one as well. Post ideas below
  15. Post here if you have any ideas on where we coul film our shenanigans... Just a couple of ideas: - MEN Arena - G-Mex - outside some of the uni buildings. Add more
  16. I'm going to try and drag one of my best mates (also a Muse fan) and get him to do some filming (canera shy hehe). Don't count on that though, if anyone has a compact camcorder it'll be good. And yea, let's make a proper meet out of it. Hope I can come to it, I can't make Sat 1st August as it's a friends 18th do. Invite any other Mancunian Musers that you know
  17. All ideas welcome, I'm at a total loss trying to find my way around manchester, very rarely go into the city. Would we all meet up at a certain train station or something?
  18. I think the "deadline" is August 12th, just a date that's been put about. And deffo before results day (nervous, eeep!!!). How are weekends for everyone, generally?
  19. Anybody got any ideas as to what day's would be good for a recording of lots of Sia's? (I'm not here to force anything, just made the group and will try help organise anything )
  20. The Scientist - Coldplay Or (this aint really a cover) maybe they could put some lyrics to the Band of Brothers theme tune- I think it's called Requeim For A Soldier - and riff it up a bit, or leave it mellow in a similar vein to Blackout. (if you haven't the faintest idea what I'm on about... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=50iElH7AS74 )
