  1. *Shrugs* It's my opinion, my lists. Just 'cause I rank certain songs lower than others doesn't mean I don't like them. Some of the albums are rather hard to rank.
  2. Showbiz: 1. Muscle Museum (I love the music in this song. It's all rubbery and...sproing-y...if that's a word) 2. Unintended 3. Falling Down (This song is just so gorgeous) 4. Sunburn 5. Uno (I like the tango feel. And Matt sounds incredibly pissed off ) 6. Showbiz 7. Escape (Interesting lyrics in this) 8. Cave (Particularly the piano version of this that I've seen in a live clip. Really adds to the mood) 9. Fillip 10. Overdue (I have no problem with this song. It's short and sweet and that's that) 11. Hate This & I'll Love You 12. Sober (I just can't relate to songs about getting plastered, LOL) Origin Of Symmetry: 1. Bliss (Awesome music in this. Shimmery and sparkly and spacey, like a roller-coaster) 2. Feeling Good (Flat out dead sexy) 3. New Born 4. Dark Shines (Hypnotic, and I like the occasional crashing piano sounds) 5. Megalomania 6. Micro Cuts (It cracks me up, hearing Matt hit those insanely high notes. So freakin' weird, and I like that) 7. Hyper Music 8. Citizen Erased 9. Space Dementia 10. Plug-In Baby 11. Screenager (7 through 10 can flip around depending on my mood) Absolution: 1. Blackout (GUH) 2. Sing For Absolution (Love the lyrics in this one) 3. Stockholm Syndrome (Screaming, soaring crazy kick ass song) 4. Time Is Running Out (Simply put, it's fun as hell. Especially live) 5. Hysteria 6. Apocalypse Please (Can totally picture the scene, the actual apocalypse happening, and I always like it when music allows me to make a picture. That piano is intense) 7. Falling Away With You 8. Endlessly 9. Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist 10. The Small Print 11. Ruled By Secrecy 12. Butterflies & Hurricanes Black Holes & Revelations: 1. Knights Of Cydonia (Insane and over the top. Can't beat that) 2. Starlight (I think it's beautiful *Shrugs*) 3. Supermassive Black Hole 4. Hoodoo (Dark and jazzy and eerie, this is an awesome hidden gem) 5. Map Of The Problematique 6. Take A Bow (I can think of a few people out there I could dedicate this one to...) 7. Exo-Politics (Like the funky beat and the weird "X-Files" sound) 8. Soldier's Poem (Am I the only one who suddenly feels like singing "Wise men say, only fools rush in..." every time this song starts ? Good song, though) 9. Invincible 10. City Of Delusion 11. Assassin (8 through 10 can also flip around depending on my mood, and I may want to tie #s 5 and 6, 'cause I love both songs and it'd hard to rank them properly) The Resistance: 1. I Belong To You (I just think this song's hilarious and adorable. It's such a strange departure for the guys and I love it. And for some reason, I really like the little touch of the clarinet at the end) 2. Undisclosed Desires (I'm a girl and I love the lyrics. 'Nuff said) 3. Uprising 4. United States Of Eurasia (Awesome strings, great piano, reminds me a lot of U2's "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me", also sounds like it could be a Bond song in a way, or something. Again, over the top and awesome) 5. Resistance (Again, reminds me a lot of U2. Which is never a bad thing, in my eyes) 6. Exogenesis: Redemption (That piano is preeeeeeeetty) 7. Guiding Light (I like this song. It's definitely got a cheesy '80s feel to it, but I tend to like cheesy '80s music, so that doesn't bother me. And I love Matt's voice on it as well. Sounds very controlled and strong) 8. Exogenesis: Cross-Pollination 9. MK Ultra (I swear, between this and the "Exogenesis" symphony, I have no problem believing the band was listening to some Oingo Boingo/Danny Elfman stuff when they made this album) 10. Exogenesis: Overture 11. Unnatural Selection (No hate for this song, it's great, just kinda hard to rank songs sometimes)
  3. Ooh, yeah! I love that song, they could indeed do a killer version of that. After hearing them do "Where The Streets Have No Name", I'd love to hear them cover "Gone", "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me", or "Bullet The Blue Sky" in particular from U2-I think those songs would be absolutely perfect for them (or, for pure grins and giggles, "Discotheque", maybe done "Supermassive Black Hole" style). I'd kill to hear them do the Moody Blues' "Nights In White Satin". They could do some stunning things with that one, I bet.
  4. 10. I Belong To You 9. Time Is Running Out 8. Unintended 7. Starlight 6. Bliss 5. Knights Of Cydonia 4. Stockholm Syndrome 3. Muscle Museum 2. Sing For Absolution 1. Blackout The top 5 are set-3 through 5 may flip around a bit, but those 5 are THE top 5. The others will switch spots depending on my mood.
