  1. Actually take that back about the caravan. I reckon he does get a kick out of it :D but not in a way that it defines him. :)

  2. Oh god, don't! I like his teeth!

I think really it's natural to reflect the lifestyles of your peers in a material sense. It's not about him trying be something he's not, because he is up there with all the other rockstars.

I can't really see him becoming Americanised. For one thing it would seem to be against everything he stands for. Secondly he's so individual, he doesn't exactly conform. Thirdly he said that he pines for England when he's not there, though America is probably less culturally different than Italy.

It sounds like he's always enjoyed gambling starting with the 2p machines on Teignmouth pier, the stakes are just potentially higher now!. I very much doubt he would change as a person any more than would be natural from getting older anyway.:) Nah, it was just looking at houses to get a base there I think. The magazine just made a thing of it. I bet he'd be just as happy living in a caravan. Though it would be a bit hard to have big celebrity parties in a caravan!

Anyway makes me feel a bit uncomfortable discussing. :$ I was just being a bit moody. We have no right to judge anyway. It's only because they make themselves fairly accessible I suppose. I hope that continues. Thanks for your stories though. :)

  3. No but I've started feeling guilty now for that Q interview post!

  4. Did I say something you felt the need to apologise for? I'm sorry I don't know what that was. Maybe I came over sharp. I didn't mean to. I had been dragged into the stuff on the NSC thread so perhaps I was a bit moody at the time I messaged you. I'm starting to get concerned now about how I'm coming over. Oh dear! Actually I think I will pm you. A friendly person to talk to! lol!

  5. No I don't Julie. I don't think I'd do that. I tend to get too involved in Muse discussion to have time for other stuff. If I had more time I'd be more involved in the general discussion threads. My short break on here has ended up a much longer break as I've been pulled into a discussion on Muse's popularity this evening! I don't always mean to get dragged in.

  6. Oh the forum I mean. I don't spend a lot of time randomly googling. Sometimes if there's something that catches my interest.

  7. Yeah I was just taking a quick break from revision! I spend far too much time on here!

  8. :LOL:Yeah, well, I'm the same! Spontaneous poster, can get myself in trouble! Especially if I've had a few drinks! ;) Though remarkably I haven't been caught out too much through that yet! I tend to go on smilie overload! :$

  9. Don't worry about it! The majority know about the ISP post and the thread has been viewed and posted on to death already! If you have a spare million hours and fancy checking out the idiosyncracies of fanhood, you could have a look but I wouldn't recommend it! :chuckle: Though as Matt was making a serious point, I doubt he would mind more people looking. :D

I've already preordered the download. Well it's only 79p and I like to show my support. I'm not sure whether there will be a physical.

  10. Now I'm curious! You've posted the pseudonym somewhere? Can't see it. That's where PM's come in useful, see? :D You find out about a pseudonym, post it and suddenly everyone on the planet is interested so he can't use it anymore!

Matt has looked at the board before, he said he did. I don't know if he still looks at times but I wouldn't be surprised. The temptation must be great! But he didn't find it I very good experience before from what he said, so maybe he tries to keep away. Dom and Chris have also said recently that they have looked at the board on occasion. :)

  11. Thanks Julie. Sorry I keep forgetting to reply. I'm more used to having conversations by PM than visitor messages tbh. Have been popping on here but still attempting to complete my essay! :( It's getting there but it's already late! I probably already have areas I can research coming out of my ears tbh! Social deviance is a big subject to fit into a 2500word essay, I have learnt! I already have several books on criminology which I haven't time to read!

I didn't get round to asking Muse a question or applying for tickets at that secret gig, though tbh if I had been lucky enough to win, it would have been a bad idea just before exams! I'm looking forward to the new single on Monday though! :D

PS Just a comment on message from HeavenlyAlchemy below! If MB has a pseudonym on here, I wonder if he's a fanboy or a Muse hater!

  12. LOL! Thanks! I You have quite a lot of work to do if you are working yourself through Muse interviews! lol! I have seen and read a lot of them but I'm sure there must be many that I haven't. But yeah, they're great! Particularly Matt! <3 The electoral thing is still as mad here! I don't mind filling you in at some point. I haven't had a chance to think about a question. I probably won't submit one unless I suddenly think of something particularly pressing that I really want to know. Are you going to ask them what they think about book censorship? :)

  13. Thanks Julie. I'm supposed to be working on an essay (and doing revision which I haven't started yet) but have been rather distracted by all the election stuff going on here, and then Muse go and stream a concert and offer news of a released song at the same time! lol! I find it quite difficult to keep my mind on what I am meant to be doing. And I'm older than you unfortunately!

  14. Hey was just wondering what you are up to. Haven't seen you for ages on the board. Hope things are okay.

  15. Yes maybe, that would be cool.:) I really like Resistance and loved it from when I heard it, but when I got into them in a big way, though it was later than OoS, it was that album that was my favourite to start off with. One thing I really regret is not knowing about them in the early days and missing all that! Not that I was really in a position to be all that involved, attending gigs and things, but still...I would have liked to have experienced that.

  16. Yes I'm going on 11th! Contemplating the 10th! :)

  17. Sounds fantastic and very very tempting. Trouble is though, it's slap bang in my revision time and I'm not sure I can afford to lose any of that time. Also I'm not sure I will be able to afford it. I'll probably see what the competition is like.

  18. Hi there

No actually I'm doing a course that involves politics, social history, psychology and sociology. It's a bit of a mixed bag. I like that it's multidisciplinery though, everything crosses over. I did a bit more politics and law before in an access course. Sounds great what you are doing. :)

    Thanks for your message. :)

  19. Exogenesis made you giggle?

  20. Hiya

Is that your home in the photos, the one of the swimming pool etc?

Enjoy your weekend.:) Mine is quite boring. I'm trying to read up on sociological theories regarding crime for an essay. And it's sunny outside. I guess I'll have to wait until the holidays to enjoy the sun. Hence I have to come and take a break on here every so often! lol!

  21. Glad you managed to sort it out. :)

  22. Anyway off to watch our leaders!

  23. Oh good! I'm glad to hear it! I was getting quite cross at the thought of it! I was understanding Matt's guitar smashing! LOL! Have you seen the fucking fucking feeling good? That's along the same lines, people were being judgemental of them and in fact it would be a good one to illustrate your censorship argument as they were told not to swear when they had no intention of swearing.

  24. It's not as if they're drug addicts or anything. Matt is really against hard drugs after he lived with someone who was into it in a bad way. I'm a bit wound up tbh that they are being that judgemental! I don't know how you feel.
