  1. Yes, I've read via your Facebook about getting into politics. I imagine it's a lot of hard work. But, I would hope, with a deal of satisfaction?

  2. This is indeed true, Robson; I estimate it at some time over a year. How have things been? Festive greetings to you, by the way. I should really let cynicism abate at Christmas.

  3. That'd seem more logical if you're going to the festival, it'd be better value for money.

Seems like 2009 is a very good year for gigs.

  4. Are you aware of KMFDM playing in London on July 18th?

I believe it's at the O2 Islington, tickets are about 20.00 including all the credit card nonsense. I bought my ticket last week, which is stupidly early, though at least I have the ticket in my possession now.

  5. Agreed, 20 quid is probably towards the top end of what I'd be prepared to pay for a gig. This probably wouldn't be a gig where dancing comes naturally, unfortunately. But it'd be nice to see the contrast between seeing them in April 2007, where it was mainly their 90s industrial disco stuff, probably the best gig I've been to, and now, which will be for all intents a classical concert.

  6. I'm seriously tempted to. My only gripe with it is travelling down from Dundee. I'll have to look into costs when I'm back at university and see whether I'll go or not. It'll certainly be pretty interesting, especially as they're going to be playing the music from the JS Bach album they've recently released.

  7. Remind me now and then and I'll leave riddles for you to decipher. Here's hoping you don't have incredible riddle skills.

  8. Secrets are pretty good, agreed. I'll eventually tell you those whom I hate. Perhaps it'll be done through riddle.

  9. Ha, I cannot reveal such a secret.

  10. I'll have a little look see at the thread soon enough, from what you say it sounds near crazy.

Ah, I see, I guess that seeing your sister off (not in the murdering sense, obviously) is probably more important than a gig....though I guess it would depend what gig.

  11. Sounds like Tottenham Court Road, which is on the Central Line.

Christ, there must be an absolute legion going if they have to find each other! Why can't you make it to the IAMX gig? I forgot to ask.

  12. The credit crunch doesn't seem to deter people, it seems. It's as if there's no global crisis at all.

Definite shame, aye....where's the Astoria 2? I've heard of it, I think, but have no idea where it is, they tend to be in West London for some reason.

Where's the Muse meet-up being held?

  13. It's quite pleasing on the ear, according to some....others just take the piss out of it. You're enjoying it at Lingard's, I take it? Is that the one in Colchester that you were working at before?

I'm not, I didn't even realise he was playing! Whereabouts is that being held? I may be going on an environmental march in London on Saturday so if it's in London I'll probably recognise IAMX fans making the trip to the arena...I would assume you're going to it?

  14. Hi Alex, I only just noticed your message there! I'm fine thanks, I've picked up a Scots accent....for better or for worse, who knows. How are you? How are things back in Colchester?

I'm back on Thursday for seven weeks, we should definitely meet up at some point.

  15. roygbiv is the greatest short track I've ever heard.
  16. Oh, that rule I have about MSN meant to say that you'd have to start a conversation rather than I, rather than saying no conversation at all....my apologies.

Dear me, I am a weird one.

  17. A massive shame on me, I'm a persistent offender with regards to slowness. Indeed, MSN would be good, I think you're on my contacts list but I have an idiosyncratic rule that I don't normally start conversations with other people.......maybe that sounds weird but I suppose I've always been like that.

Ah, glad that they went well!

  18. Hello Anna, I'm sorry for taking so long in replying! I think my general laziness has caused me to procrastinate and put things off, when I really shouldn't.

I'm well thanks, accommodation sorted for next term, now it's just down to the pesky bureaucracy of the student loan.

How did your exams go? And what are you doing with yourself now?

  19. Hello Anna, sorry it has taken me a while to reply! I'm very well thanks, keeping busy and going back to uni in September, how are things with you?
