  1. Idk who Laurence Fox is but on that specific topic, doctors were prescribing that drug. It's a multi faceted drug that there are human doses and applications for. The whole narrative that a bunch of nuts are going to farm supply stores and buying horse de wormer off the shelf was spread by the same morons that thought people actually drank fish tanker cleaner (mistaken for hydroxy-chloriquine) and died. Edit: But yeah, like Jobby said. Lets not get into talking about stuff like this here.
  2. We already got a snippet - the will of the people chant *cringes hard*
  3. Was it ever though? Remember Exo Politics? "When the Zetas fill the skies. It's just our leaders in disguise" I bring up this example because I heard something funny recently. I have a relative who dabbles a bit in conspiracy stuff (definitely not a far gone one yet, he just questions and looks into things he hears, usually looking to debunk). And like 6 months ago when the US govt was starting to declassify some UFO stuff he'd mentioned how a topic going around in conspiracy circles about "them" setting up to stage an event, like with hologram technology of an alien invasion or something to usher in new measures of control. (if you've ever seen the really cool godzilla/moster hologram tech I think some company in Japan was using check it out, its amazing) But anyway. It instantly made me LOL and go play Exo Politics to confirm that lyric.
  4. Also may have been said but that letter puzzle thing that people saw tons of letters in from WSD video. It's definitely WOTP = will of the people. EDIT: Damn it now I'm trying to find it, but somewhere we had a discussion on that acronym on the car hood from WSD and the leading guess was "WOTP" and when reading that my first guess was Will of the People. I thought we discussed it here but may have been a FB comment because I can't find my post on it. This isn't the first time I've called Muse things way ahead of time either by pure luck or just having some unseen connection to the bands Psyche lol.
  5. 100% thought of Beautiful People but they're definitely saying "will of the people" - please dear god don't let that be a part of any song....wishful thinking. It's a song lol.
  6. 100% this. I would die for an album with the seriousness of Absolution again.
  7. Which is fine and totally the appropriate thing to do. Same with Aftermath lol.
  8. The falsetto on "eyes" and "disguise" I actually love. And the breaths in between lines (especially after "settle the score") I'm happy those are left in. The last few falsettos in the second chorus on win/begin/before are a bit much though.
  9. The more I hear it the more I like it. I don't think its a top Muse song by any means. I think if I had to list my top 50 Muse songs, this probably wouldn't even crack that list. But I'm still blown away that this was chosen as a radio song. And stand by my opinion that its their best radio single since Knights.
  10. S tier being top tier isn't just a thing that's unique to this tiermaker site. It's sort of a common thing in rankings in general. Idk what started it but S is highest tier. I think it stands for Superior?
  11. In effort to try to get some more activity in this board, check this out and fill one out for yourself. This may have already been done in here but maybe not. https://tiermaker.com/create/muse-albums-7457 My entry. Rankings go from left to right in each tier category. I thought about doing this after going back to ST last week in a long drive and realizing that after the dust has settled, years after release I think its their best album since Black Holes. From TR to Drones there are a few really top tier songs scattered (MK Ultra, The Handler) but ST was just more consistent than all three of those albums IMO.
  12. Hell yeah, from checking them out to straight to Cassandra Gemini lol - good for you. That one normally isn't for the uninitiated to the Volta. The payoff at the end of the song when it goes back into the chorus from part 1 is one of my all time favorite things in any piece of music.
  13. These are all good points. But Bedlam is probably their most accessible which is why I normally start people out on it.
  14. What the heck lol. Oh the Rush song? But yes The Mars Volta. Francis The Mute Bedlam in Goliath. Two best albums
  15. I think he'll for sure do the screams on WSD live. Btw I've seen you around here for a while but just now caught the TMV reference in your name. Duh! One of my all time favorite songs by them. Absolute banger.
  16. Totally. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed it. Probably get some more Head-Up riffing live.
  17. I hope we also get a lyric video similar to the Handler with the boys just rocking out to this in a room. This is definitely on a 7 string, possibly even an 8 stringer. Btw speaking of 8 strings, the bridge section reminds me of Rocket Skates by Deftones. Very Stef Carpenter-y rhythm to it.
  18. Listened to it a bunch today. Probably 10+ times. I really like it. I'd known we'd heard the whole thing in snippets but to hear it all flow together in good quality is nice. I obviously don't think its capable of standing up with the all time greats IMO like OoS and Abso but for a lead single for a new album post Black Holes I think its definitely the best. Hell this is probably the best single period they've released since Knights of Cydonia. And by single I'm specifically referring to songs that got radio play. I know they have other "singles" that were singles but didn't get radio play or music videos. I'll have to go back and do some thinking on what all was considered a "single" for each album but it blows my mind that this is going to get radio play. A new Muse song is this hard hitting and the masses are going to hear it.
  19. Yeah I've just never wanted to be in any of those Muse groups. Too many normies lol. I'm thinking of like Kueller, Fabri, JonisDead (what was his og account?) Sippe, Hopix, yourself, etc. The days when each live show got followed on here were fun times. But yeah I remember the last tour souring that.
  20. I've always thought Matt was likely happy to get away from that lifestyle and distance himself from it. And I think he has. It's one thing to be super rich and famous but its another to be part of the Hollywood elite going to red carpet events and black tie events. I always knew something was weird when my gf and her friends suddenly knew who Matt Bellamy was without knowing Muse because of glamour culture and following tabloids. Anyways...it feels weird speculating about their personal lives.
  21. I get all the Imagine Dragons comparisons but at least Matt can actually sing. So we get ID style verse with an actual good vocalist. No one in ID has any actual talent. So far WSD isn't my type of Muse, but I do like it.
  22. I thought of this when the most recent verse clip was released but didn't mention it - but we've basically heard the entire song. The only thing I'm anticipating is hearing the chorus and riffing in quality that isn't someone streaming from their phone off their car stereo lol. But basically - newest clip = verse. Short riffage = pre chrous leading into "won't stand down" chorus. The extended riffing section is very likely the bridge. Comes after a chorus and even leads into what is likely the chorus repeated a few times before the song finishes. Given that its a radio single I'm not expecting any surprises outside that but it will be nice to actually hear the song together in proper quality.
  23. I feel like we will definitely have the album by then. Probably one single now and then release in Spring time.
  24. Mainly I was curious if there was a newer more populated area. I know a few cycles ago there was a fb group I think? Or some other chat app people were using that I never got on.
