What's with Muse sharing future lineups with should-be-forgotten bands.
It makes sense to me. New album is supposed to be heavy. By playing at these festivals they will get exposure to a new market. The 50+ year old traditional heavy metal lovers with time and money to spend in a "new" band that will make them feel "younger". (I know that feeling. )

There will eventually be day tickets. Only Glastonbury can sell out without day tickets.

They'll play a german festival and some 20th aniversity shows next year in germany...
WTF???!!!!

Thanks again for the info. I think I may manage to get one then. :-)
If you know anyone that goes to TCD chances are they'll have one you can borrow. If they were free I'd get one for everyone that wants to come, but they cost a fair bit. -
Thanks. Now the question is: how can I get a Phil card?
Technically TCD students only, but you only need a Phil card to get in - they don't check student ID. -
Are those talks open to the public or only TCD students are allowed?
Bellamy's talk could actually be in November. -
From Muse account in Facebook:
"Irish Fans - don't miss Chris speaking to Colm O Sullivan tonight on Today FM from 7PM!"
Don't think he will be interviewed to talk about child care advice.

The Oxegen line up hasn't been announced yet. I still think an Irish date will happen.
In the unlikely event that it happens, it will be the Aviva. But I don't really see the business point on an Irish gig when most UK dates are not sold out and the O2 date last winter was not sold out either.
-
I don't think bands are entitled to days off. They shouldn't even have 24 hours between gigs, they should be made to play 3-5 gigs a day.
Hey, Queen Japan Tour '76 had afternoon and evening shows!

Why?
Mmmm, actually, in 2010 they had a 6 days break between Manchester and Wembley, but this one is a fully stadium tour "a la" U2, so they need to fill the gaps to be profitable. Ok, maybe not insane, but "suspicious". Anyway, it may be all "wishful thinking" as I live in Dublin.
-
My point was that the dates would have been announced with the UK dates because "Ireland Coming Soon..." was not listed.
It is the same story again: I bet that the Irish date will be at the Aviva Stadium Wednesday 29th of May 2013. It may not be announced until January, but isn't insane to have a week rest between London 2 and Manchester? Now if there is a London 3 on Tuesday, I will be proved wrong, but there will be at least one more concert in the British Isles (That includes Ireland) that week.
-
But some do have Facebook therefore that link could be useful to them.
Anyway, are there other bands who could announce Wembley dates this week?
Roger Waters is one (Saturday 14th September)

Considering they're only doing 5 gigs at the moment in the UK this year, I'd expect them to do a few next year. Hell, it's practically guaranteed that they'll do a stadium tour next year.
I still can't believe they will stop twice for 9 days in the middle of an European tour. It does not make any sense! I expect a few more UK dates being announced when the album is released (+ of course the Irish ones)
Speculation on future gigs/tours

Thanks for the info. I was really thinking of UK festivals. I don't remember what tickets I got for the Frequency and Rock Im Park in 2010. I would not mind to get a full ticket just for myself, but 3 full tickets for Munich just to say muse, it is simply too much for me. So I will have to wait in hope.
