    We (their children) are all grown up now and moved away so they tend to go alone, though when I was younger they took me to a lot of gigs. I appreciated it . First gig was with Dad to see Pulp.

    Thanks My parents aren't their specifically for Muse I should add. They both enjoy live music, so they are making the most of it whilst they are still able to!

    My mum is off to see Manson, though she said she might go watch a bit of Muse. She has seen Muse a few times (she came with me when I was too young to go alone ) and she likes them, but isn't a massive fan. Not sure about Father. I suspect he is watching Muse.

    As a piece of music/outro to the album I think it works really well. And it is hard to make out the lyrics, which helps.

    I quote enjoyed it upon my first listen. Certainly preferred it over Defector which dragged on.

    Posted in the other thread, but I guess here would be better: The Globalist is nice, but suffers from a lack of fluidity, if that is the right word. Look at long songs by the likes of Porcupine tree, Amplifier etc. It feels like one song, not a bunch of ideas bashed into one 10 minute piece with clunky transitions. And for the record, upon first listen I liked the end.

    The transition to the heavy section in The Globalist is pretty clunky. Doesn't feel part of the same song, at all. .
