  1. The album pre-order announcement said "Deluxe Package: exclusive to the Muse Official Store. Includes 12" tri-fold 180g vinyl, CD+DVD, digital download and two exclusive art prints."

Which is the same as The Resistance and The 2nd Law deluxe editions, which were the same prints for everyone.

Kind of disappointed there's no option to grab the others then, some of the artwork is brilliant.

  2. Quick question guys, may be stupid, or already asked. Can't get the shop to work properly on my phone, so yeh;

The deluxe edition, got mines today and received the art prints #3 and #4 of 10 (Mercy and Reapers). Does this mean there are prints for each song, and they're randomly distributed with the deluxe editions?

  3.

I think from now on, I wont do this at 2am. I dont even Know how I managed that, I'd been playing it in Drop D beforehand

I would be embarrassed by this, but I think I just need to laugh it off as a rookie mistake & learn from it! I'm not usually that bad, or make such stupid errors :stunned:

  4. I only properly checked it out because of your comment

EDIT: I'm not meaning to be a twat by the way, just keep practicing and improving and stuff. Look where it got GSK

    Not at all

I know it's pretty damn shoddy, I also noticed my fretting wasn't up to scratch. And the damn pedal wasn't the best sounding. But yeh, I'm constantly working on it and my playing in general, so it's only going to get better :)

  5. I was in Disneyland Paris at the start of February, and they played Follow Me several times throughout Disney Village (area outside park with restaurants and shops).

Probably the only good song I heard whilst there, the rest being taken up by their Disney Channel "Popstars"

  6. The backing vocals in SMBH are clearly Matt. It's actually one of the easiest to determine. Songs like Soldiers Poem are much harder. But all the vocals on SMBH are definitely Matt. Listen to the way he sings "glaciers".

And during the "screaming"; listen both to the way he breathes and sings "Supermassive".

Well that's odd, considering Chris is listed as backing vocals on the studio version. But as I said, the point I was making still stands. It could Justin Beiber doing the studio vocals for all that matters, but live they have never seemed as clear, to me, until itunes!

  7. That's weird because Matt does 99% of all the backing vocals on the studio versions.

I always thought it sounded Chris like on the studio, but even if I'm wrong (not got the best ear at times) my point still remains, on the studio version the backing vocals are very clear, however I always felt live they were drowned out. iTunes seemed to change that.

As for Knights, I cant really remember that so I'll need to give it another listen. I do wish they'd get rid of that damn Man With a Harmonica. Really tiring of it.

  8. It didnt work very well, backing vocals should remain in the background

Thing is, on the studio version his vocals are also very clear. It just seemed to be live, that I noticed, he was quite quiet. But iTunes it seemed to matched up a lot better and he sounded fantastic. As I said though, night just be me that feels this way.

  9. Is it just me that finds something special with the iTunes Festival performance of Supermassive Black Hole? Dunno what it is exactly, but when i first saw it, something just seemed fantastic. And Matts guitar sounds incredible.

I reckon its also to do with how clear you can hear Chris during it (heck, most songs from that show aswell. Its like his lead songs have given him the boost to perform live a lot easier and louder) but that may just be me...
