  1. Federal Reserve protest? :D

Do you know about Austrian Economics?

  2. Have you got an MSN Messenger address?

  3. I'm from the US! Hahaha! I know right? An American Muse fan! Blasphemy!

There is a town in Gotland, Sweden, called Sproge.

I have been told by my grandparents that we have relatives from Latvia, Germany, and other countries around that area. I'm assuming they migrated from Sweden a long time ago and settled in these countries. Then some migrated to the US about 100 years ago. I have reason to believe my ancestors are from Sproge, Gotland, so he is probably related to me, distantly.

Just saw that o your profile, should have looked it up before I asked

There's also this danish island with a similar name: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sprog%C3%B8

Awesome! I believe Libertarians/Classical Liberals are the only true Americans left! In my opinion, the US is currently the farthest, ideologically, from what our founding fathers had intended us to be. Currently, Ron Paul is our best hope for bringing the US back to those ideals.

I'm just curious, have you heard of the Campaign For Liberty? It's a campaign set up by Ron Paul and his supporters to help elect those with similar idealogy into our congress. I know you're not from the US (which is really cool that you even care about this at all!), but I think once the United States revives it's constitution, the whole world will benifit. Liberty is truely a global effort.

There was a rally last month on July 12, in Washington DC, where over 20,000 people attended to support Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty. He and many guest speakers, spoke out for small government, non-intrusive foreign policy, abolishing the US federal reserve, and many other ideals.

    There was no media attention.

Ron Paul is holding another rally in Minneapolis/St. Paul MN on September 2, 2008. It's 10 miles from, and on the same day as, the Republican National Convention (where they elect John McCain for their party). The funny thing is, the center in which the Ron Paul rally is being held in is LARGER than the one holding the Republican National Convention! It's a big push to gain media attention for the "Ron Paul rEVOLution" in the US.

It's called the Rally for the Republic! On september 2! I'll be there so look for it in the news for me! (hopefully the media covers it)

Yes, yes, I currently live in the U.S. (and will for atleast 1½ more years.), so I'm a part of CfL, I live in Santa Cruz, CA.

I'm a little interested in the "Free State Project", I've only got a J-2 Visa though, so I'm kinda bound to Santa Cruz.

I'm just curious, what are your beliefs concerning currency, and the supply of it, throughout a union?

Also, should a union be left to grow independantly of foreign capital, thus removing any threat to it's economic security from foreign enemies? Or is globalization a good thing for all capitalistic unions?

Well, hand it over to the free market, currency shouldn't be an issue for the government to solve, the government isn't fit to print a currency nor regulate other currencies by saying that their currency is the "legal tender". Currency is an individual matter, and if we were to abolish the fed I'm sure precious metals would be the natural choice of the people.

I don't beleive in unions at all, I think borders is a fantasy, and that's all it is.

No collective should be able to use coercion as a means to their goals, and yet, that is what democracy is all about, the majority using, or threatening to use force against the majority.

The government is like the mafia in so many ways!

Therefor free trade is the only option, everything else would imply that one group or the other would have a higher claim on any individual's life than he/she does.

  4. Are you from denmark? Because one of my best friends have a similar surname, Sprögoe or something. :p

His name is Simon Sprögoe (Not sure of how it's spelt) Jakobsen, maybe you're related in some way? :p

Well, I'm a libertarian, I am a supporter of Austrian Economics and I found Ron Paul via Digg, and saw that he was a libertarian too.

When I was debating on here I didn't that much about economics, so I kinda screwed up, now I'm a border-line anarcho-capitalist, altough I tend to say I'm a minarchist, because that would work for me too, and you don't have to go into detail as much as you have to do if you say that you're an anarcho-capitalist.

I love Lew Rockwell, Johan Norberg, Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises and those guys.

Jeffrey Tucker, Armentano and DiLorenzo is always a good read too.

I tend to agree wit Ayn Rand on her philiosophy, although I would never say that I'm an Objectivist, I really am not, I agree with her facts, not all of her conclusions.

  5. Hey! I was reading through the U.S. Presidential Election 2008 thread and came to discover your debate about Ron Paul which occured a couple months ago...

Just glad to see a fellow supporter who happens to be a muse fan! And it was also interesting for me to find out you are Swedish! How do you even know about Ron Paul? lol...

Either way, glad to see you on here!

  6. WOAH! I've had my first Muse dream, it was at some school, which I supposedly attended >.<, and Muse were going to play, and everyone was like "Who the fuck are Muse?" and I was going to see them, and they played, and when it was over I got to talk to Matt, and suddenly the whole school loved Muse, and everyone wanted to have his autograph and he just wanted to get out, so I asked him "Should I carry you, and kick down everyone who's in my way, like Homer Simpson", and he said yes, and I kicked down some fashioncore girls ^^ And then the dream ended!
