  1. There's not a single sentence in that review that implies that Ian Cohen hates Muse. He also reviewed The 2nd Law and he gave it a 5.5.

It's common knowledge he hates Muse. And T2L is definately worse by miles than Drones.

  2. Good to see you're back to your old habits.

Still doesn't make sense. Every other album this year got better rating. Which is obviously a fuck up. How can it be a valid review then?

It's like rating The Dark Knight 10% on Rotten Tomatoes. That would be the same fuck up.

  3. So basically Pitchfork implies that every album ever reviewed at their site is better than Drones. You can't say that it is not fuckin bullshit.

If someone is not good at his/her job, should be fired. And why the fuck do they give the task to someone who hates that given band the most?

  4. Is it great live? I know it's not the same being there than seeing some pro-shots, but as much as I love the song, I thought it was bland live... :(

Noo it was fantastic. The guitar is way heavier as well. The same with Mercy. The chorus saves it.

  5. really not sure about this one. Sounds like Survival but with even less of a decent melody (which is a fucking feat in itself)

Really?? Survival is just constantly building (needless to say a forgettable song), how the hell could you compare this to that song?

  6. After a few more listens, I feel this is a masterpiece. It might know feel cohesive at first listen, but the more you listen the better it gets. I had a similar feeling with Exogenesis.

  7. It might be a controversial opinion but I think that the heavy part is the dullest part of the song. Not even the piano part. It's just the same easy riff all over with little changes. THe parts before and after are even more versatile.

But I love the heavy part as well just everyone seem to lose their minds for that part.

  8. Am I the only one who has been repeating the heavy part only, for infinity now?

I can't get over how amazing the part when tremolo kicks in is. Why the hell did it play such a small role :(

I totally agree. That part might be the best thing they have done in a long time. Sad it is only a few seconds.
