I am officially an old fuddy duddy now though, as I was not impressed at all to see a couple with a little girl around the same age as my little boy wearing a We Are F*cking F*cked t-shirt… oh well…

At my hotel in the Docklands, a granny was wearing that T-shirt at the breakfast buffet. Now THAT'S a sight :D

  3. So Tixr has now FINALLY issued the QR Codes for the 2nd Muse gig at O2 tomorrow. Because I wasn't so sure about that, I have bought another ticket via Ticketmaster  in the mean time.

If anyone is interested in buying my spare ticket for face value (Section 104), please DM me. I can transfer the ticket via the O2 App. You're gonne need the app anyway to enter the venue.

  4. Thanks Habanero for your update. I keep doing those bloody "support tickets" (support, my arse) with no result. FFS, I'm travelling from abroad (getting the ticket via mail is no option anymore...), so I'm a little worried for the 2nd gig, at least I'm good for the first one.

Oh super… wonderful new technology…. my ticket for O2 London Oct 1st  from Tixr magically appeared in the O2 app with the active QR  code… all good, but then…

My ticket for O2 London Oct 2nd from Tixr is listed below it in the O2 app but is blank for QR code saying I opted a different delivery method. So will probably have to sort it all out with the O2 box office on the night…

Both ordered within minutes of each other….

I have the EXACT same problem. I keep filing "Fan Support Tickets" at https://support.tixr.com/ but they keep ignoring me. Has anyone heard back from Tixr regarding this issue?

  6. Does anyone from Paris has any infos or updates what the situation might be due to the actual situation in France, especially in the suburbs in Paris? Is the Stade de France area included in the problem zone? If I understand it correctly, no public transport operates anymore after 9 pm. What would happen in that case? Are there any talks to cancel the concert? Any information is appreciated.

  7. It's an open field but not a regular concert venue. It's a huge field located near to Wankdorf Stadium which wasn't available for that date. There will be lots of standing space but also some seating capacity.

the presale for Milan on Tuesday was via Ticketmaster Italy

That's true. Maybe they can't put on the same extreme stuff that they get away with in the US. But there are definitely Platinum Tickets in Europe with Ticketmaster. The 2 Hammersmith Muse shows last month were through Ticketmaster and there were some officially overpriced Platinum tickets, but nowhere near the $2000 craziness in the US.

  9. After 95 minutes queue for Paris I can now confirm: That show is sold out as well. I don't see the logic behind those systems 🤔

To summerise: The US sale is in the hand of the crooks of Ticketmaster who charge you legally up to $2000.

Europe has either similar issues with companies like eventim that officially lets touts sell tickets on their page with no price limits and charges for that "service" over 100 Euros. And all of this only a few minutes after the sale started (Who knows if it's even people from Eventim who are the touts...)

Or we had smaller pages like in Amsterdam and Paris that couldn't really handle the storm.

The only page that seemed to normally sell tix was Milano. No insane queues, no "Platinum F*ck You Tickets", just showing in an instant whether there are tickets available or no.

Especially the cases of Ticketmaster and Eventim should bother the artists too. I just can't see that a band like Muse after all their success and the money that came with it can be that greedy to squeeze the last penny out of the fans.

Now they're just toying with you.

I've been following the discussions on Reddit about the US shows. Tickets are selling for $2000 there through Ticketmaster's exploitative Platinum Pricing feature.

And the most disgusting thing about that is: Eventim and Ticketmaster both allow you to sell your ticket and charge you a heavy sum for doing that. So they earn money multiple times on the same ticket...

  11. Amsterdam carre.nl crashed precisely at 10am, had been waiting for 30 minutes. Now it's "5500 people waiting in front of you". Berlin immediately not available at 10am. Were there even any tickets for sale? Paris slow like hell, I have reached 5 % progress after 15 minutes queue... Anyone with any success anywhere?

Yeah that part didn't last very long for me. But the site kept crashing when I was trying to confirm and pay so it took my countless attempts. But one thing that might help is for you to create an account on the website beforehand. It will save your basket when the site crashes and will save you precious time at checkout.

I'm going to do that and try my luck again Friday, thanks.

    Capacity is 1700 I think.

Curious if anyone on here managed to get tix for this show? Haven’t seen anyone post about Amsterdam success.

Now that's a joke of a system they use in Amsterdam. It lets you queue for almost an hour, and when it's your turn of course "no tickets available". Paris BTW still at 0% progress in the queue for me, that site seems to have major issues. Anyone lucky with those two?
