Just saw the Atlanta setlist. I've never rolled my eyes so hard in my entire life. I get my hopes up too high.
-
I've listened to the proshot Dig Down and also crowd versions and it really is hugely underwhelming live, or at least appears to be from the videos. It also strikes me as a terrible opener too.
Also, that proshot gratuitously shows off the amount of playback involved .
When they play that crap, I'll be getting in line for a drink.
I haven't looked at any setlists yet. I'll probably cave.
-
HOLY moly, it's so close. Everyone in the pit?
-
I'm going and we will all die of heatstroke.

Unfortunately, Bellz doesn't post or even look at this forum so you'd have more luck talking to the kids in Kit & Tab about guitar choices.

Welcome! We don't really allow intro threads since we'd rather have new members jump into threads they're interested right away. Happy posting!

Chris finally sent his in.
-
I read that Matt answered all the ones directed at him personally, which is actually pretty awesome.
He answered general ones, too.
-
so mark, Chris and Dominic if you see this message and you want some company's after the gig me and my mates will be well up for that x kelly cuthill
I hope Mark plays his guitar very well tonight.
(They don't read the boards and please search before posting new threads)

I had two questions to ask to Matt
One about his farm :
"Already kept silent pens to welcome animals resulting(coming) from slaughterhouse or victims of bullfight etc.? And if yes recruit you of the staff to take care of it?"
and
One about his creations :
"You post a link it has some times title : "London orchestra". I was not unfortunately able to listen to him in time. Would have kept silent about the intention to redo it to us to share? That would be really top, I like enormously your orchestral !! "
I hope that it is the good place to hope to have an answer And if not, can one help me?
A good day...
Take care
Members were asked to send in their questions for the band a while ago so that's already ended. This thread is to discuss Matt's answers to some of the questions.
-
"I've not been very focussed on piano in recent years, mainly guitar, I probably need to get back on it"
Yes please. Start by adding three or four extra pianos songs to the setlist like in the absolution days.
I was really excited to read that.
Also, he answered my question and I totally fangirled last night.
-
The setlists questions are all ignored/not answered/whatsoever.
Maybe Dom or Chris will answer. Also, Matt could answer more later.

You've already been told by another mod to post in the correct thread. Don't make another.
-
Not sure but probably just what they answer. We took out the duplicates and any that went against the rules so you can pretty much tell which were included.
-
Which were those?
You'll see, you'll see.
Any antagonist (looking at a mirror) or stupid (looking at you) questions.Mmk.
-
No update yet, sorries.
Why ask the board though? Could've easily approached Facebook/Tumblr/Reddit or whatever and got the "simple questions". They know how the board is.They wanted to do something exclusive for the board.
There were a ton of "what's your favorite band" "what do you like about touring" questions to choose from.Especially if they're each only going to pick a small handful, there's plenty.
We took out all duplicates, no worries. Also decided which would stay and which would go.
-
I read it thoroughly, though. This thread will be closed cause 4 members already answered and you've already PM'd me about your issue.

I guess it depends on how the lyrics affect how you think; they're pretty thought-provoking. In some people who are struggling with mental illness, they might provoke dark thoughts. I've invited him to talk to people on the mental health thread as I doubt this question will be passed on to the band.
I know everyone interprets songs differently....
-
Your songs are very, very DESTRUCTIVE
I know they are not good for my mental health,
but I don't want to stop listening.
What do you think of the destruction of your music?
It may seem little weird but I'm absolutely serious.
I know everyone interprets songs differently but this really shocked me. Back when I was struggling with depression, I clung to Muse to get me through it. I wish it were the same for you.

Almost impossible it won't be obstructing views if you're in GA. Seats might be a different story. Either way, I can't stand seeing people record.

I can anticipate trolls trying to fuck up our chances of getting something awesome.
