  1. I'm with you, the original slaps
  2. this will be my first time in Toronto and first time seeing Muse live in 7 years. Excited but hoping it won't be too hard to reach the venue from my cheap hostel
  3. I said I've been a member since 2006. Why would I be unsure of that? I have nearly 300 posts going (albeit from years ago). The sarcasm is unnecessary - especially given how annoying this issue has been for veteran members. I don't know (or remember) who the mods are or how to contact them because I don't normally give a toss or have any need to contact them. Thank you for the replies and for the above info, though. I got my old profile back so it's resolved thanks to your input. Creating a "new" account with my old account info worked
  4. http://www.straight.com/article-299423/vancouver/conspiracy-rock-n-roll Bellamy echoes the bassist’s feeling that Muse has an underappreciated sense of humour, saying with a chuckle, “People probably wouldn’t know that we can see the funny side, especially with the melodrama and pushing the theatrical elements to the limit.” Anybody who watched the “making of” videos that accompanied The Resistance would have seen the band cracking itself up during the recording of “Guiding Light”, a synth-drenched breakup song that trades sensitivity for operatic mega-emotion, like a throwback to Midge Ure’s daft and pompous “Vienna”-era Ultravox. “That was another moment when we were, like, ‘Can we allow this to go on the album?’ ” Wolstenholme admits. And then they did.
  5. I nearly always skip over this one, and not just when I'm afraid someone nearby will have the misfortune of it being the first Muse song they hear

Well, it's strange here. Yesterday was 15 celsius, haha:)

Half of my family lives in Montreal btw, so I go to Canada almost every year. I totally love it! I see you're from Vancouver, I've never been there though.

Welll, one day I might live there. At least I hope so:)

Are you going to see Muse in Canada?

  7. Namey
