Musey dream lastnight (with a bit of Green Day!)
Matt, Dom, Chris, Billie Joe Armstrong and Tré Cool (Don't know where Mike Dirnt was) smashed my kitchen window with a shoe, then they came into my house and trashed my bedroom, Matt and Chris tried to steal my wardrobe but failed so they took all of my clothes. Dom stole my Muse collection (CD's, DVD's, Books, Posters everything!) and my dog. Billie Joe stole my pillows and keyboard, Tré carried Matt out of the room and flushed him down the toilet.....
thats the best dream i've ever heard!

They have copyrighted the word in relation to music, yes. There are other oganisations out there called 'muse' but it has no relation to music what so ever so it's ok.

so guys are we playing to the recording or not? cause I mean if there are definitely going to be strings over the top and everyone is playing a different tempo it could get messy with the cuts?? I think i'll do one to the recording....

Has anyone else realized that Matt has taken the chord progression of this nocturne as well?
The Verse/Chorus thing.Look at the first 4 bars! The only difference is that chopin goes to F minor whilst Bellamy goes to Ab.

Uh it doesn't really need to be EXACTLY the same, just roughly, so we should just listen to MB's version and get that rough tempo, it'll be too hard to play along and replicate exactly because of 1. he uses a lot of rubato, which you should when playing chopin, so all our interpretations will be different, and 2. he actually plays a few things differently to the sheet music
All we need to do is make sure we use no rubato in time when the strings come in. Apart from that I reckon it'll be fine

I had an odd dream 2 nights ago, although I also can't remember all of it, but i remember it being quite weird.
Me and a mate were at a muse concert and it got to the interlude where they go off stage. I left the hall for a sec, and matt was out there
For some reason though I remember him having a different voice though lol. Anyway I remember talking to him and he mentioned something about a pole... and I said 'oh, like citizen erased...' then matt laughed at my hilarious joke (don't worry I don't get it either...). Then Matt realized that he had to get back on stage and he offered me a pepsi on the way in. Then I realized everyone was walking out! Including my mate who said 'man that was crap, they didn't play for very long at all!' and I just thought 'haha sucker, that was just an interlude'. So then I walked back in the hall and they played unintended, but it was a piano version, that was really fast, and it sounded shit -

There are MUCH better performances of Showbiz than that. IMOIMOIMO
yeah i agree, for some reason ive always loves the hullabaloo version the best. I think its pretty well perfect in my opinion, love the guitar scream when matt says 'scream' haha. Just so many things about it that are just incredibly awesome.

Probably already been said lol but on the new will smith movie '7 pounds' pretty much the entire song of muse's feeling good is played, almost featured ha!

I dont think TSP was meant to be a filler song... when Matt first wrote it - he said it was meant to be the first single of absolution... obviously that didn't happen but it's still a worthy part of abso. TOADA i can understand more as a filler!
