This is a fantastic explanation however I'm afraid it can't be correct because when I eat other items of food the taste temporarily masks the saltiness meaning my buds must still be working.

Can't help but feel the need to post something serious.
There was likely a substance in the confetti that damaged the tastebuds for tasting other things than salt, to the extent they stopped functioning. This means that you can now (almost) only taste salt, and that the other tastes will return once new tastebuds have replaced the damaged/malfunctioning ones.
No need to worry though, even on perfectly healthy tongues the tastebuds are lost and replaced once per week. So in a couple of days from now you should be cured.
Don't laugh people, the above is most likely true, and can even happen when eating biological substances, like pine nuts.

Only the total composition tends to get a little monotonous after a while. Do you intend to add anything in later parts? More layers? It might help:)

yeah ive only got cubase le, which doesnt allow adding of effects to vst tracks. which shits me.
Bounce the VST tracks to audio and add the effects afterwards:)

Not really, we haven't given out any cd's or anything so it's your call! Generally we'd have "Chase Music" first cos it seems to be the most popular and "Thanks for The Cyanide" last because we didn't actually get to finish it!

And I adopted your order, since the downloads are numbered I must say I like track 3 most (which, for me and I guess for you too, is the opening act to the end of the world). The intro is astonishing and it moves on in a beautiful melodic way. And it's more complex than chase music, which makes it top that one IMHO
And you're doing quite a job on the guitars btw.. cheers

Well we haven't actually been going very long, just a couple of months so things are moving slowly at the moment but we'll be heading back to the studio in the summer to record 4 or 5 new tracks. We recorded one song when we started that we took off MySpace but otherwise we don't have any other material that we can give you, but we'll keep you posted on any progress.
